It feels so smooth and tight on corners, and looks like a 2008 inside and out. I am only selling my car because i am going to another state and need the money for my school. I have taken care of this car extremly well using only premium gas and regular synthetic oil changes every 3k miles. Once you turn the key you immediatly feel the power this car has. Dual exhausts give it that turbo look and feel. I hate to let it go but like i said schools need money and this is more important to me right now. Who ever gets this car will have a great time driving it. Detroit Auto Show prankster 'damages' hundreds of thousands of dollars of cars
Thu, Jan 29 2015Obtaining credentials for an auto show is generally a pretty selective process, especially at one of the world's premier shows, like Geneva, Los Angeles or Detroit. That didn't stop online prankster Dennis Roady from getting credentialed for the 2015 North American International Auto Show on behalf of a Russian YouTube channel to cover the show. While he wasn't brought on strictly to cause mischief, Roady couldn't help but have some fun at the expense of the product specialists during the serious business of covering the show. He took to an app called "Dude, Your Car," which allows Apple iPhone users to take snaps of vehicles and then edit them to add some serious, but fake, dents and scratches. Naturally, the pranking session was caught on video, where you can enjoy the sight of poor product specialists freaking out over damage to vehicles ranging from the Mercedes-Maybach S600 to the Audi R8 and a lovely Dodge Challenger. Woman wins Audi R8 Spyder on The Price Is Right, goes bananas
Mon, 30 Dec 2013Of course, we love to tune into The Price Is Right to see average Americans spin the big wheel, play a round of Plinko or Cliff Hangers, and participate in the gladiatorial Showcase Showdown. But there is one reason, and one reason alone that the daytime game show has captivated us since its inception in 1972... 'A new car!!!'
Back in November, the show held a Dream Car Week that saw contestants get the chance to win whips like a Porsche 911 and a BMW 6 Series, amongst others. It must have been pretty successful, as the PIR team is back at it, this time giving away an Audi R8 Spyder with a sticker price of $157,300. That makes it the single most-expensive item given away in the show's history.
The R8's new owner, Sheree Heil, may not fit the image of a typical R8 driver - we anticipate she'll learn which side of the car to drive on after the show is over - but she is clearly tickled pink with her big win. Check out the insanity below.
