1 owner car. Clean title In hand.

This car is in great condition. Non-smoker, Garage kept, has never been

Driven in winters...  The list of parts is extensive. Full power boost comes

from APR stage 3 plus turbo upgrade. Pushes 340hp complimenting the turbo is

APR  front mount intercooler, and Carbino intake, high flow cat, and full APR

stainless exhaust. To help dial in the engine power is the DXD stage 3 clutch

and flywheel with the APR snub engine mount. Shifting is tightened with a

short shift kit.

Stopping comes from the Porsche cayenne twin turbo 6piston stage 4 front brake

upgrade. Help comes from the rear with the Audi S4 rear brake upgrade...

Handling is dialed in with of course the Bilstein PSS9 full coil over kit.

Adjustable both ride height and damping to your preference. I have the car on

the least aggressive setting and it handles like its on rails.... Further

handling and style comes from the Asanti forged 3 piece 19" wheels on brand new

Pirelli 255/35R19's. (tires have less then 1000 miles on them). The amazing

handling on the Quattro is taken even further with the help of the Stasis mid

high-bias torsion differential upgrade. Allowing for up to  88  Percent of

the available power to go to the wheels  for asphalt eating traction  . Body

style is finished up with a full Caractere body kit. No car is complete

without  a solid base for the driver. That said we chose the best of

course. The Recarro Style alcantara suede seats both comfortably and

supportivly keep you planted firmly from a spirited country drive, or your trip

to the track...  Yes they have power in both driver and passenger sides along

with A/C and heating options. Windows have a great looking mirror finish tint for

privacy and further style. The stereo was a custom build trunk with all alpine

components.  Dvd head unit, custom rear enclosure houses the 12' sub and amp

and the Audi 4 rings adds even further style points . No expense was spared in

this build...  Well over 35k invested . Oh ya,forgot to add that the front

brakes have less then 4000 miles on them... Tires have less then 1000 miles on

them...  This car is as fast as it is amazing looking. This car has been

serviced meticulously with only the best from Mobil one full synthetics, K&N

filters for oil and K&N high flow reusable air filter. Car has never seen a

drop of anything less then 93 octane. I would suggest the next lucky owner

treat her the same...  APR was crafty enough to include a 100 octane feature

with this car's software.... Be the next to own this amazing car at a fraction

of the price. This car is a steal at $22k O.B.O  Serious buyers contact me . Please

don't waste either mine or your time with low ball offers ..  Car is being sold

as pictured. I'm not interested in selling parts so please don't ask....

I look forward to passing the keys to the next Lucky owner

Ward's reveals annual 10 Best Engines list for 2013

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Ward's Auto has released its annual 10 Best Engines award winners. The 2013 list covers the full width and breadth of the internal combustion spectrum, from a spate of efficient four-cylinders to the most powerful production V8 on the planet. As always, the entries must be available in a production vehicle in the first quarter of 2013 with an MSRP of less than $55,000. The supercharged 3.0-liter V6 from the Audi S5 held on for the fourth consecutive year, and BMW earned two spots on the list with its turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder and turbo 3.0-liter inline-six.
Ford pulled in two awards for its 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and and the supercharged 5.8-liter V8 from the Shelby GT500. Honda matched BMW and Ford with two wins of its own. Wards awarded the 2.4-liter four-cylinder from the Honda Accord Sport as well as the 3.5-liter V6 from the Honda Accord. Chrysler, General Motors and Subaru each garnered a spot on the list as well for the 3.6-liter V6 in the Ram 1500, the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the Cadillac ATS and the 2.0-liter four-cylinder the Subaru BRZ, respectively. You can read the full press release below for more information.

2013 Audi RS Q3

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

The year 1994 was a really good year for German performance fans, because it was that year when Audi released its very first official RS model (for "RennSport," or racing sport), the RS2 Avant. Recently, I was invited to participate in a three-day leg of the Audi Land of Quattro Alpen Tour, a blatant flaunting over hill and dale of the company's current lineup of RS models. We hit Austria, Switzerland and Italy - the roads were epic and the weather held for this exquisite boondoggle.
Our chief focus on this tour, which included the RS6 Avant and RS7, was the newcomer RS Q3 small crossover that will absolutely never be coming to North America, but which starts deliveries in November of this year. This no-North America policy is because we still don't have enough customers who see the thrill or sense in a $52,000 all-wheel-drive baby sport utility that gets to 60 miles per hour from a stop in under five seconds. Meanwhile, in crazy, drunken Europe, orders for this ridiculous, wondrous set of wheels have, to quote Quattro head of technical development Stephan Reil, "far outstripped the limited production numbers of the business case." Those silly Europeans, don't they know that an RS Q3 makes no sense at all? Sheesh.

2017 Audi A4 Deep Dive

Thu, Jul 16 2015

Unchanged. Plain. Boring. These words have been used to describe the new 2017 Audi A4, but they all miss the point entirely. Yes, the design of the new A4 is evolutionary, rather than a ground-up restyling. But as they say in ancient High German, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Of course, if you're at all interested in the 2017 Audi A4, you've probably read all about it in the official press release a few days ago. So we'll cut to the chase and tell you the bits you don't already know: the American-market details. We spent a day at Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt last week finding out the latest and poking around the A4 in the metal. The new A4 is wider, longer, and roomier than before. The lines are crisper and sharper, but yes, the proportions have remained very similar. That was done on purpose, thoughtfully. Not out of laziness. Stand any two sequential generations of Porsche 911 next to each other and you'll find they are rather similar. And yes, people do complain about that. But they also complain about the property tax rate on their third home in Monaco. That familiar-looking body gets a shockingly low coefficient of drag of just 0.23. The improvements in drag come from fine-tuning details down to the placement of the side mirror (now on the door, rather than the triangular window panel) and the contouring of the inner edge of the side mirror, which gets little vortex generating bumps to improve the turbulent airflow in that area, reducing drag. Attention to detail and refinement of a successful design – not boring, lazy repetition. Another notable departure in the styling of the new A4 is equally subtle, but even more significant from a precision manufacturing perspective: the hood has no cut lines on its upper surface. Instead, the hood now wraps around the tops of the fenders, the cut line integrating with the sharp crease that runs down the entire body side. The creation of this cut line requires extremely tight manufacturing tolerances to enable the precise alignment of the hood and fender gap with the stamped-in crease in the door panel; misalignment would be obvious and catastrophic to the clean, simple design's flow. Now, let's rip off this Band-Aid: no, we won't be getting the Avant. Why? Because no one buys it, vociferous vocalizations on the Internet aside.
