MSRP...$137,000.00

There is still 12 months (until 8/14) left on the factory warranty and the original owner's manual is in the glove box.  There are NO liens and I have the South Carolina Title in hand.

The Car-Fax shows a clean 2 owner history with no accidents or service issues.  This Vantage belongs to a business associate and he had it fully serviced (including a New Clutch) at Motorcars of Georgia less than 500 miles ago.  The tires retain 80% tread.

The 420 Horse Power Engine rockets the Vantage from 060 MPH in a mere 4.7 seconds.

The paint is very good...NO dents, rust or chips.  I had 2 rock chips professionally repaired (not touched up) by Elite Custom Paint and Body in Simpsonville, SC.  I also had the front bumper painted to remove a couple curb scraps.  The owner of Elite is a good friend who took his paint/body work training from Ferrari...he is a perfectionist.  I want to represent the Aston Martin accurately...a buyer would never know the work was done if I had not mentioned it.  The interior os excellent...there are a few minor scratches in the leather.  The seat bolsters are in very good condition.

I am a licensed Wholesale Dealer in South Carolina.  I sold this Aston to a California buyer, but we were not able to finalize the deal.  If you check my feedback, you will see his positive feedback where I refunded his deposit.  Also, you will see positive feedback for my 2010 Corvette ZR-1, 2008 BMW 550, 2008 Porsche Twin Turbo Cabriolet and 1978 Jeep CJ-7 (among many others).  I am happy to provide referrals if you are interested.  If a potential buyer cannot be present to take delivery, I can facilitate the purchase through the Benson Automotive Group (Cadillac, Ford, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Nissan and Fiat).  I will deliver the Vantage to their dealership and they will give you a detailed inspection.  At that point, the buyer will wire payment to their account and pick-up the vehicle from their Spartanburg Dealership.

Alfa Romeo 8C and GTV: Classic names revived as high-powered hybrids

Fri, Jun 1 2018

BOLOCCO, Italy — There were grand plans for Alfa Romeo at FCA's last five-year plan. By 2018, we were supposed to get eight new products, including a new "specialty" vehicle. In reality, we've gotten the Giulia and Stelvio. At this year's follow-up, Alfa Romeo brand head Tim Kuniskis called the last plan ambitious, but he offered a new vision that was both more realistic and more far-reaching. Beyond doubling down on utility and electrified vehicles, by 2022 Alfa has plans to revive both the 8C and GTV names as high-performance hybrids. Since 2014, Alfa sales are up 160 percent, with an estimated 170,000 vehicles to be sold in 2018. The North American market counts for 16 percent of that, up from nothing back in 2013. Future products will focus on Alfa's current strengths: styling and performance. Look for new compact and full-size utility vehicles to slot on each side of the Stelvio. Plans for a larger sedan seemed to have been nixed, though a long-wheelbase version of the Giulia will make it to the ever-increasing Chinese market. The most exciting news obviously comes from the return of the 8C supercar and GTV sports car. We have few details, but what we do know looks promising. The 8C will use a carbon-fiber chassis with a mid-mounted twin-turbo V6. More than 700 horsepower will be sent to all four wheels thanks to an electrically-driven front axle. The car should hit 62 mph in fewer than 3 seconds. The GTV will be slightly more tame, though Alfa is promising more than 600 horsepower from its hybrid powertrain. The four-seater will also have all-wheel drive, torque vectoring and a 50/50 weight distribution. The brief teaser image shows a car that looks like a two-door Giulia, though it's unclear if we'll actually get a new coupe. Electrification, autonomy and connectivity are coming, too. Obviously, the 8C and GTV will get electrified powertrains, but look for each Alfa Romeo model to have some sort of electrification available. Look for six plug-in hybrids with all-electric ranges of more than 30 miles. Level 2 and 3 autonomous systems are coming, too. Aston Martin considering US plant for DBX production

Wed, Apr 22 2015

Aston Martin could be the next foreign automaker to begin production in the United States, according to the latest report from the Financial Times. The British automaker is reportedly considering a number of possibilities to handle assembly of the production version of the DBX crossover concept presented in March. Among them is the prospect of building a new plant in a Southern state like South Carolina or Tennessee, which could bring with it significant tax breaks and other incentives that would ease the process and make it financially attractive. Aston's main plant at Gaydon, UK, is reportedly nearing capacity as the company ramps up production, with a series of new models on the way. It moved production of the Rapide, its only model produced overseas, back to Gaydon in 2012 after it was initially handled off-site by Magna Steyr in Austria. That doesn't mean that the US proposal will necessary get the nod, though. Another possibility Aston is considering is taking over the former Jaguar facility at Browns Lane in nearby Coventry. The DBX concept was unveiled as an electric crossover coupe at the Geneva Motor Show last month, showing the way forward for the brand. The production version is expected to adopt a more conventional setup with four proper doors and an internal-combustion engine.

Aston Martin CEO to personally inspect first 1,000 DB11s

Wed, Jul 13 2016

The Aston Martin DB11 is going to be a significant vehicle for the British automaker and to ensure that new owners are getting a flawless vehicle, CEO Andy Palmer will be going the extra mile to personally inspect the first 1,000 models. According to a recent tweet by BBC Autos reporter Matthew Phenix, Palmer will be working overtime to give the first set of vehicles an extra dose of love. The CEO will also be placing an inspection badge, which bears his signature, onto every one of the DB11's V12 engines he looks over. Only 1000 Aston Martin DB11 V12's to be made with this particular inspectors plaque! pic.twitter.com/lkmMTJpGE8 — Andy Palmer (@AndyatAston) July 13, 2016 The idea of giving the DB11 more love over the rest of Aston's lineup makes sense as the DB11 is the first all-new vehicle to debut from the automaker since Palmer took over as CEO in 2014. The DB11 is the 10th car in the iconic DB lineage that began with the gorgeous DB1 in 1948. And with the DB line being the most successful model for the automaker, there's a lot riding on the new DB11. This isn't the first time a CEO has gone to extreme lengths to ensure that vehicles are up to snuff as Elon Musk reportedly slept in a sleeping bag on the factory floor for the production of the Tesla Model X. Hopefully Palmer's extra effort will pay off for the DB11.
