Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster in the metal in Monterey

Even surrounded by glamorous people and a plethora of extremely exotic vehicles on the lawn of the Quail, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster sticks out as something just a little bit more special. Under the Monterey sun all of the carbon fiber on the hood and in the air dam pops out from the shining ruby red paint. The aggressive looks are deserved though, because the latest roadster might be one of the most impressive droptop GTs ever to come out of Aston Martin. Under that louvered bonnet is a tuned version of Aston's long-lived 6.0-liter V12 – it's 44 pounds lighter, too. Plus, this engine is mated to the brand's latest Sportshift III seven-speed sequential gearbox to rocket it to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 201 miles per hour. Features like adaptive dampers, two-stage ABS and carbon-ceramic brakes, make the new V12 Vantage Roadster an even more intriguing and capable package. David Brown Automotive Speedback GT launches in US

Just over a year ago, the Sportback GT debuted from coachbuilder David Brown Automotive to combine the classic lines of the Aston Martin DB5 with modern underpinnings. Now, the luxurious British coupe is making its way across the pond for a US debut later this summer. With a price of $753,000, you're not going to see these coachbuilt creations on every corner. To make sure that the GT catches the eye of the right clientele, the company is premiering it during the swanky event at The Quail during the 2015 Monterey Car Week in August. Despite the retro look on the outside from former Land Rover designer Alan Mobberley, much of the mechanical underpinnings for the Speedback GT are sourced from the Jaguar XKR. Propulsion is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 making 510 horsepower and 461 pound-feet of torque and linked to a six-speed automatic. Inside, passengers find quite posh surroundings with leather upholstery with wood trim. Aston Martin Vulcan teased again with shooting flames

Aston Martin is definitely bringing the noise to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and one of the company's debuts features blasts of flames to go along with it. The British sports-car maker is yet again teasing the Vulcan, and the vehicle appears to be absolute automotive insanity. Aston still isn't saying much about the car – anything really. But where the first teaser video showcases its noise, the latest one gives viewers a light show. Not only does the clip show off the vehicle's rear end, but the Vulcan belches fire about a foot out of each side. It still sounds superb, too. The company's Geneva booth is going to be quite a sight to see for performance fans. In addition to the Vulcan, Aston is debuting the Vantage GT3 there with a pavement-scraping body kit and a 592-horsepower, 6.0-liter V12 growling under the hood.
