DESCRIPTION: For Sale is my beautiful 2007 Aston Martin DB9 with factory Aston Martin CPO Warranty. When I purchased this DB9, I paid for the inspection as well as a 2 year warranty. The CPO inspection is a rigorous 4 hour process! The CPO Warranty expires 5/2015 and can be extended for an additional 2 years! This means you can actually enjoy driving the car instead of worrying about potential costly breakdowns. This vehicle is fully loaded with every factory option including: -Aluminum front grille -Sports package (19" wheels, sport tuned suspension, 1" lowered ride height) -Front skid plate (prevents damage to front fascia) -Ventilated slotted front and rear brake rotors -6 piston front and 4 piston red brake calipers -Upgraded Lynn sound system with sub woofer -"Clear skin" over rockers and rear quarter panels to protect against chips and scratches -Contrast black/red leather interior -Black piano wood accents -Parking sensors -Heated seats -Navigation -Bluetooth -Aston Martin full size umbrella -Aston Martin battery tender -Aston Martin tire repair/inflator kit (never used) This DB9 is also extremely rare as it comes with a 6 speed manual transmission. Less than 5% of all DB9's EVER made have the optional 6 speed manual. In my opinion, you cannot drive this car unless it's manual, an automatic transmission simply does not do this car justice. Additionally, this DB9 comes with full Aston Martin service history, and at this point does NOT require any maintenance for at least another year or 10k miles (whichever comes first). The car will also come with the Aston Martin owners Manuel, Navigation DVDs, and 2 sets of keys. -Oil and Filter service performed 6/2014 -Tires were changed 6,600 miles ago -Brakes were changed 1,800 miles ago Basically, this DB9 is ready to be a daily driver or can be parked in your living room as a work of art because it's in pristine showroom condition. Although I mostly drive the car on weekends, I have driven it several times to work from NJ to Manhattan where the roads differ greatly. The DB9 feels comfortable in any setting and road surface. The ride is never too stiff and has just enough modern creature comforts that you would never expect from a car that's nearly 7 years old or rather young!

Lotus and Aston Martin to hook up?
Tue, 30 Oct 2012This has been a tumultuous year for Lotus - to say the least - from the company being sold off back in January to its CEO Dany Bahar being fired in June to its questionable financial status and rumors of the British automaker being sold off to another automaker. First, we heard that Volkswagen was interested in acquiring Lotus and parent company Proton, a rumor that was later dismissed. Now Automobile is reporting that fellow Brit Aston Martin could be in the market to work with or possibly even merge with Lotus.
While this is pure speculation at this point, such a venture could prove to be beneficial for both independent companies. That's because with Lotus focused on lightweight, relatively affordable sports cars and Aston Martin producing high-end performance cars, there is virtually no product overlap between the companies. The article suggests that a person or company wanting to merge these two automakers would have to raise between $1.1 billion and $1.6 billion in order to make a go of it, however.
We're not sure what to think of this latest rumor, but anything that can help get the struggling brand back to health at least has our interest.
Episode 2 of The Grand Tour will feature knives, explosions, guns, and also cars
Wed, Nov 23 2016Following an immensely successful debut, The Grand Tour will follow up its first episode with exciting, dangerous things. Based on the trailer above, the episode will start peacefully enough with the trio driving up to the tent in South Africa with a convoy of off-road trucks. However, it seems each segment will be much more exciting. Right at the start of the trailer, there are clips of the Aston Martin Vulcan, a 7.0-liter, 820-horsepower V12 supercar, which will likely be the car tested at the "Ebola-drome" this week. Of course the car is communist because it doesn't have a V8. Then things get steadily more dangerous through the trailer. James May is shown as a somewhat unwilling participant at some sort of drifting exhibition. He apparently doesn't like tire smoke in the evenings. We also see that the trio went to Jordan for another segment. This is when we get a glimpse of Richard Hammond playing with large knives. Immediately following are clips of some sort of car chase challenge with large SUVs and luxury sedans, during which James May shoots an assault rifle out the back of an Audi S8. The shooting results in big explosions. It's worth a look yourself, to get in the mood for the next episode which hits Amazon on Friday. Related Video:
Latest Spectre trailer loaded with cars, action
Wed, Jun 10 2015We've already received our first glimpse of the latest James Bond film, Spectre. But while that 90-second trailer was a bit light on vehicular mayhem, the trailer that aired during last night's NBA Finals game certainly wasn't. The 60-second spot started similarly to the first official Spectre trailer, but it quickly descended into something with a lot more action. Bond's one-off Aston Martin DB10 makes an appearance, as it did in the first trailer, but this time, we get a look at its duel with the Jaguar C-X75 of the film's villain. There are flames. Many flames. Check out the full trailer up top, and keep an eye open come November, when Spectre hits theaters.
