Meticulously maintained,
I have done everything possible to tune my DB7 to drive like a New Car. It Looks, Sounds, and Performs as It Should. Turn Key, You can drive this Aston anywhere. I have all service
records from the time it was delivered. I am the third owner however; I have
put the majority of mileage (34,000) and owned it the longest (8 years). I've learned the more diligent
you are with maintenance on an exotic car, the better the performance and reliability.
I started restoring all expected mechanicals subjected to wear around
50,000 miles 3,500 miles ago. I started with New P Zero tires, Brake pads and
Rotors. I had an issue with a high pressure line and as a result starting
working on replacing seals, hoses, lines, bushings, gaskets, plugs, coils,
wiring harness to coils, fuel pumps (both), Engine mounts, U joints, cables,
power steering pump and Master Brake Cylinder, etc. to make this Aston new
again. This speedometer may indicate 50,000 miles however; I have spent in excess of $30,000 in the last 2.5 years to
freshen the mechanicals. DB7 Ive owned many exotic
cars in my life; however this Aston is the whole package. You can drive it like
a Go Kart or an Autobahn Grand Tourer (GT). It will chauffer you when you feel
like cruising and comes to life when you shift into Sport mode. Understated
Elegance. Even
Ferrari struggles to match the prestige and exclusivity associated with Aston.
This car gets Respect and Admiration from Everyone, Children and Adults from
all walks of life view this as a Dream Car. Its look is Timeless and will be
admired indefinitely. It turns heads for the right reasons. Unlike brasher
supercars or more showy sports cars, the DB7 oozes class, its unmistakable
style indicating you as a person with exquisite taste. The big 6.0-litre V12,
when mated to the smooth five-speed automatic transmission, makes the DB7 a
relaxed cruiser, with the potential to turn into Ballistic Racer when called
upon. Minor issues: tiny scuff on lower right side passenger
door. Leather on top of instrument cluster tightened. Most of leather is
perfect and better that you would expect. Air bag indicator light illuminated
(goes on and off). Minor chin rash from driveways. Looks Like New Car in Many
Respects. I welcome and strongly suggest a Pre-Buy inspection of
the vehicle here in Carlsbad California. I will be happy to arrange for access
to the vehicle at any time during the Auction. Please call me with any
questions you have at 760-500-2388 or email me at doctorborkin@gmail.com My
Mechanic is available to describe the incredible maintenance of this Aston
Martin. Good Luck with the Auction. Owners of the DB7 Praise
the car. There are several sites with rave reviews below is a link to
Edmunds. http://www.edmunds.com/aston-martin/db7/2002/consumer-reviews.html A deposit of $1000 is to
be within 24 hours of end of Auction. Full payment must be received within 3
Business days of end of sale. Mileage may vary slightly due to test drives and mechanical inspections.

Aston Martin Vulcan teased in video
Fri, Feb 13 2015Get ready for the Aston Martin Vulcan. We're not sure exactly what that is but Aston has released a teaser of its upcoming model/concept/thing Β and it has a racy sound, that's for sure. That's about all we know from this video, as the car isn't shown. The Vulcan is set to debut March 3 at the Geneva Motor Show, and the official YouTube channel calls it "something very special." The Vulcan's pending reveal comes as Aston is set to get a cash influx from Investindustrial, an Italian equity fund that owns a chunk of the British automaker. The money will fund the company's new product plan, which is expected to help push Aston's global sales to 8,000 annually, double its current level. Aston's lineup of sporting machines has largely grown long in the tooth. New CEO Andy Palmer, who joined the company from Nissan, is charged with updating the portfolio to better compete with other high-end brands. The Vulcan appears to be the start of this, and it literally sounds pretty good. If nothing else, this engine sounds would like it make a nice ringtone for James Bond. Aston Martin names new CFO
Tue, May 19 2015Aston Martin is on the verge of a resurgence, instituting (among a great many other things) new top leadership, and that includes a new chief financial officer. Mark Wilson comes to Gaydon with a wealth of experience at British sports car manufacturers, having previously worked for Lotus and McLaren. His most recent posting, however, was as CFO and COO at renewable energy insurer G-Cube Underwriting. He'll take up his new job as Chief Financial Officer (and his place on the executive board) at Aston Martin on June 8, reporting directly to Andy Palmer, who in turn took up his job as CEO just this past September. Considering Aston was recently injected with an influx of cash, hiring a new money man was probably prudent. But hiring new top personnel, of course, isn't the only change Aston is making. It's got a new platform in the works, a new engine under development with Mercedes-AMG and a raft of new projects in the pipeline. That includes the replacement of every one of its models by the end of the decade and the addition of as many as three new model lines particularly the DBX crossover that could be the first new Aston built in America. ASTON MARTIN NAMES MARK WILSON AS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER 14 May 2015, Gaydon: Aston Martin today announces the appointment of Mark Wilson as Chief Financial Officer. Joining the business on Monday 8 June, Wilson, will report directly to Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer and take a place on the Executive Board at the company's global HQ in Gaydon, Warwickshire. With a strong track record of senior automotive experience already accrued with McLaren Automotive and Lotus Cars Ltd, Wilson joins the luxury British sports car maker from renewable energy insurer G-Cube Underwriting where he held the post of Chief Financial and Operating Officer. Welcoming Wilson to the team, Dr Palmer said: "Mark joins us at what is, undeniably, an extremely exciting time for Aston Martin. We are currently implementing the largest investment plan in our history which will see a total remake of our product portfolio. By the end of the decade, not only will our current line-up have been replaced entirely, we will have added up to three extra model lines and entered new market segments.
Aston Martin losses shrink, still amount to nearly $10k per car
Wed, Oct 8 2014Aston Martin's current lineup may be the best it's ever been, but that doesn't mean the automaker is making money off its Vantage, DB9, Vanquish and Rapide dream machines. In fact, the company lost $41 million in 2013, but that pretax figure is actually a third lower than in 2012. Revenue was up a promising 12.6 percent, according to Reuters. The Kuwaiti-owned British manufacturer blames its losses on the still troubled global economy, acknowledging that it's seen a small recovery in the ultra-high-end segment of the market. Global sales were up from 3,800 to 4,200 in 2013. To put it all in perspective, $41 million in losses on 4,200 units works out to around $9,700 lost per vehicle sold. That's no way to run a railroad. While the company's CFO, Hanno Kirner, told Reuters the company is hoping for a big bounceback by 2016, Aston's fortunes in the United States remain uncertain due to a new federal side-impact standards. The company has filed for exemption, although the jury is still out on the success of that petition.
