Up for sale is a black 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider with 105000 miles!

Exterior: The color of the car is black and paint condition is 7 out of 10. The car has a few scratches but the body is clean and I do not see any major accidents in the car.

Interior: The car has a black interior (I am not sure if this is leather or vinyl) the passenger seat is good but the driver seat has some tears in the center piece as you can see in the picture.
The dash has some cracks as you see in the photos. The carpet is in good shape but it does need a little cleaning. The convertible top is in a very good condition (it was replaced two years ago).
All the glass, trim, and lights are in very good condition. In total the condition of the interior is 7 out of 10.

Mechanics: The car has a 4 cylinder fuel injection engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. The engine and transmission are in good condition. I drove around my warehouse for about 10 miles without problems. The car has an engine guard! The exhaust is good, there are no leaks anywhere. The suspension is also in good shape! In total the condition of the interior is 8 out of 10.

Electrical: From what I see, everything works well except the high beam light (It can be do to the bulb or the switch). All the gauges work except the odometer which the previous owner said has not been working for the past year. The car has been driven less then 2000 miles sense. The car also has a security system.
The rims and tires are in fair shape. I would give the tires 70%.

The problems: The A/C does not work ( when I hit the switch, the compressor runs. So I think it just needs Freon R-12). The door lock has some issues, it sometimes does not lock. The odometer is not working. The drover seat has some tears. One of the rims has a small curb rash (no bend).

I am not an Alfa Romeo expert, this was a car that I got out of a tried and I don't know a lot about this car. But I have a very reasonable reserve compared to other ones that I have seen like this. In total the car is not in a perfect condition but with some attention it can be.

I am more experienced in BMWs and Mercedes. I do not have much knowledge in Italian cars.

This car has low milage for this typical model. This car has always been taken care of.
This car is 26 years old and has been driven for around 5000 miles a year!!
I have a very reasonable reserve price!! If you like more pics please send me your email and ill send them to you! I would be happy to have anyone come and check out the car! The car is at my storage in manassas va! THE CAR IS ASIS!
Bid with confidence!! I am a 100% positive feedback Ebay member. You can check my seller feedback!
IF you have 0 or negative feedback please contact me before you place a bid, or I am going to cancel your bid!
If you are going to place a bid, please be sure of it!

US-spec Alfa Romeo 4C Spider caught naked at a photo shoot

Tue, Dec 23 2014

The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is getting ready for its reveal and market roll-out, which means it's time to put together broadcast materials, and that means the open-roof coupe has to venture outside. Someone caught a few photos of a yellow example during one such jaunt in Andalusia, Spain during photo and television work, and based on this glimpse we'll happily welcome it to our shores. Yes, we felt the same way when we saw the concept introduced at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, and except for two small changes, it's the same car. This production version has an air inlet on the driver's side just ahead of the rear wheel said to improve cooling for the dual-clutch transmission, and the centrally mounted exhaust pipes on the concept have moved to the corners. It also wears the concept's wheels and the conventional headlights, instead of the arachnid units best suited for getting the attention of mating wolf spiders. We shouldn't have too much longer to wait for information on the car's weight gain and performance, as well as its roof panel operation. Until then, head over to www.autoblog.it and Carscoops for a few more on-location shots.

FCA reportedly joins the crowd skipping this year's Paris Motor Show

Thu, Jun 14 2018

It's likely FCA vehicles will not be seen at the Paris Motor Show this year. Automotive News is reporting that Fiats, Alfa Romeos, Jeeps and Abarths will not be a part at the show, based on information circulating in the French media. There's a possibility that Maseratis will be displayed at a special section dedicated to upscale cars, but Maserati too will not have a show stand of its own. Ferrari will have a stand, but as it happens, the supercar maker has been a standalone brand since 2015. Skipping the Paris show follows FCA's decision not to take part in the Frankfurt show last year, and the two shows alternate as the biggest autumnal automotive show in Europe. Volkswagen will also not attend the event, and neither will Ford, Nissan or Infiniti. This has become a problem for car shows worldwide, including Detroit's North American International Auto Show. FCA has not released a formal statement about the matter, but a FCA spokesman, quoted by the French magazine L'Argus, reportedly said that the sales and publicity brought in by the show stand would not justify the costs of attending. The news mirrors Volvo's newly announced plan to not take part at the next Geneva Motor Show, but to arrange "bespoke activities" to introduce its cars instead. Related Video:

Alfa Romeo turns it up to 11 with Harrison guitars and Marshall amps

Fri, Jun 27 2014

To American enthusiasts, nothing might say rock n' roll quite like a classic muscle car. But that doesn't preclude the Europeans from trying. Volkswagen has partnered with Fender for its premium audio systems, and now Alfa Romeo is teaming up with some rocking powerhouses as well. The Italian automaker is collaborating with Harrison Custom Guitar Works to create the limited-edition axe you see here. The electric guitar is designed around Alfa's iconic grille and uses automotive materials like aluminum and carbon fiber as well as traditional guitar woods like poplar, maple, ebony and Korina. The cross-bars, pickups, tail piece and bridge are CNC-machined from aluminum billet. Only 11 examples will be made, each taking eight months to construct, and priced at GBP4,000 (about $6,800 at current exchange rates). At the same time Alfa has also created a one-off MiTo concept car together with Marshall Amplification. The hatchback packs a custom Marshall JVM 50-watt amp and a pair of 12-inch 75-watt speakers, but has also been decked out with gold-mesh trim on the grille, head- and taillight surrounds, side mirrors, door handles and lower bumper – just like a Marshall stack – while the interior has been worked over with Marshall treadplates, white piping and gold trim. The shift knob has even been replaced by a Shure SH55 microphone. Though the collaborations look like something straight out of This Is Spinal Tap (with a touch of The Graduate thrown in for good measure), they'll both be showcased at a special screening in London of another rock documentary: Sound City, directed by Foo Fighters frontman (and former Nirvana drummer) Dave Grohl. You can, however, check them out in the pair of image galleries and the press releases below. CRAFTED FOR PERFORMANCE: HARRISON CUSTOM GUITAR WORKS UNVEILS ULTRA-EXCLUSIVE ALFA ROMEO-INSPIRED GUITAR - Harrison Custom Guitar Works create the 'Alfa Romeo' – an ultra-limited edition Alfa Romeo-inspired guitar - The 'Alfa Romeo' integrates traditional craftsmanship with performance materials such as carbon fibre and aluminium - Hand-built to order for GBP4,000 with each guitar taking eight months to create Harrison Custom Guitar Works based in Yorkshire (UK) has created an ultra-exclusive electric guitar inspired by Alfa Romeo's design and heritage.
