1986 Alfa Romeo Sipider Quadrifoglio You Don't Want Any Later, Last Good Year on 2040-cars
Los Angeles, California, United States
You don't want an Alfa Spider beyond 1986 because they started to get messy, starting with the bigger fuse box that your left foot would hit every time you pushed in the clutch unless you were really careful. I had the front clip painted with PPG original Alfa red, code 5 something, can't remember at the moment and I have the rest of the Gallon. Very expensive paint. I even have a gallon of the same code paint from another manufacturer. Koni's on the front and I have new ones for rear in the box. I have quite a few parts for this car, some are even nos oem that you can't even get repros of. It runs strong, good trans, brakes, etc. I took out the A/C when I did the radiator and just kept the electric fan hooked up to A/C switch. Not that I have ever even in the remotest needed to turn it on. Warms up fast and stays cool in all weather. I have all the A/C parts. No cut hoses!! Speedo works but Odometer does not. I have all the missing parts that are not shown in the pics. Original Radio pouch, extra soft top frame, NOS OEM in original box ash tray, smaller wooden Nardi type steering wheel, which is a blessing for us taller guys. Great battery, starts up first time every time, no matter how long it has been sitting. This is a good one, you can tell by how it feels going down the road. No major wreaks ever!! All fuel lines were replaced two years ago. Driveshaft was attended to as well. All 5 Quad wheels. No hard top. It has been on non-op for the past year, but I start it up all the time when I go to my Mom's house and drive it up and back the driveway. Tires were new 4 or 5 years ago and have very little miles on them. Listed mileage is approximate. I will update later. It is in the Los Angeles Craigslist at the moment. I am motivated to sell, but anything under $4800 does not get the parts. |

Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV interior spied
Tue, Jun 28 2016With is flanks still heavily covered in these photos we can't tell much about the outside of the upcoming Alfa Romeo Stelvio, but it's the first time we've been able to catch a glimpse of the SUV's interior. It is obvious the Stelvio's driver environment will largely follow in the footsteps of the Giulia sedan, and fans of characteristic Alfa Romeo detailing like the gauge cluster "buckets" will be pleased to see familiar themes. The development mule here features light, birch-like wood around the shifter console, which may or may not make it into the production car. Despite appearing a little Volvo-like, the material is not out of place in the Stelvio, and we'd expect the production car to offer different trim options. Above that, a navigation screen is integrated in a similar fashion as the Giulia, and large paddle shifters garnish the steering column. The start-stop button mounted directly on the steering wheel is also a trait shared with the Giulia. The Stelvio is inching closer to production, with official unveiling expected in late 2016 or early 2017. Little by little, the test vehicle camouflage comes off, and compared to some earlier shots seen in April, the Stelvio mule has already lost the box disguising the rear window shape. Perhaps there's an attractive, sporty 4WD vehicle underneath it all. Alfa Romeo Stelvio CUV to debut at 2016 LA Auto Show
Fri, Mar 4 2016America loves crossovers. Alfa Romeo wants to succeed in America. So it only makes sense that the troubled Italian automaker will introduce its first ever CUV on American soil. That's per a report from Australia's Motoring, which claims we'll clap eyes on the Stelvio for the first time this November in Los Angeles. The news was announced by Alfa Romeo and Maserati boss Harald Wester, who said it'd be a late fall debut, according to Motoring. That almost certainly means the mid-November to-do in LA. "We will have an additional product in the [CUV] segment with the new Alfa, to be presented in late Autumn this year, and for the time being there are no plans for Maserati to further extend our range downwards in the more compact SUV segment," Wester told Motoring. The Stelvio – the name was confirmed by FCA boss Sergio Marchionne last month and comes from the iconic Italian pass and the snaking road attached to it – will be based on the Giulia's rear-wheel-drive platform, and will be offered in both two- and four-wheel drive versions. Like the Giulia, there will be both four- and six-cylinder options, which according to the Aussies will include a high-performance Quadrifoglio Verde model. Related Video:
