1981 Alfa Romeo Spider-no Reserve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 2040-cars
Miami, Florida, United States
1981 Alfa Romeo Spider-No Reserve!!!!. CLEAR TITLE. I bought this spider (2) months ago only to flip it for a profit. The bad news is it has a problem with REVERSE!!!. I put over a thousand dollars in parts and labor. But once running I found out reverse has an issue "popping out". As previous owner of(4) Spiders, (2) Gtv's, and(2) MIlano's. I know my alfa's. this is not a simple fix. Not the leather boot, or reverse lockout mechanism. this one needs work in the gearbox, which will require a Lift. I cannot fix it in my yard(or at least do not want to!!). So, here it goes for sale. I was going to put a good coat of paint and fix the top. Now REVERSE!! Takes priority. The cars starts and runs with no problem from 1st to 5th gear. Just REVERSE, holds it back from reliable transportation. Yes the paint is poor, and the convertible top frame. Look at pics. IT has SPICA Mechanical fuel injection.
The GOOD:These parts have been replaced in the last (2) months.New Clutch Master Cylinder and used Brake booster(from Alfa Parts exchange-yesterday!!), Rear brake flex hose and drivers rear hard line.Cut Rotors, new brake fluid in entire system. Thermostat and coolant. Igniiton wires,Spark Plugs Distributor Cap and rotor.Air Filter, Both Fuel Pumps!!. Main fuel filter, and inline fuel filter. Did some work to the rocker panels (welding, All metal, and Bondo) preping for paint. Tires have new tread, some dryrot. Gearbox oil, Differential oil, engine oil and filter also done. New fan shroud included, was going to do the motor mounts. now should wait till after gearbox repair. Exhaust could use new gaskets, pipes are in great shape. I HAVE A VERY REALISTIC and FAIR "BUY it NOW". Will consider a trade for any Truck or Firearms(legal FFL transfer only) any Condition!!!! Call, Text, Email. Ned. 305 316-1867 Not a PA Car. Just using the PA plate so I dont have problems with the city inspectors and neighbors. The car was last registered in 2004 in Pompano Beach, FL |

2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale starts just under $45,000
Wed, Jan 18 2023The 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale will be hitting dealers very soon, so Alfa has opened up the order books and announced pricing for the plug-in hybrid SUV. The base Sprint model will start at $44,590 including destination charge. That's a good bit more than some competitors such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, but they're less powerful, don't come standard with all-wheel-drive, and aren't plug-in hybrids at those entry prices. When those are equipped with similar power and all-wheel-drive, the Alfa ends up being priced very close to its rivals. Full standard features weren't given for each trim level, but we know that the Tonale gets the turbo 1.3-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain making 285 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. It has an electric range of around 30 miles and standard all-wheel drive. A 10.25-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch instrument cluster are also included along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Despite a lack of detailed features for each trim, base prices for each have been released, and they're listed below. Sprint: $44,590 Ti: $46,590 Veloce: $49,090 Alfa Romeo is taking pre-orders for the Tonale right now, but only for the higher Ti and Veloce trim levels. Orders for the base Sprint will open up later this quarter. Alfa also expects that the Tonale will qualify for a $7,500 tax credit when leasing, due to a loophole for vehicles under lease. But be sure to double-check all those details before finalizing a purchase.
Dodge Viper-based 2010 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato rarity could be yours
Wed, Feb 12 2020It has been a decade since it was launched, but the 2010 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato is just as bizarre and beautiful as the day it was revealed. It's what you get when you have Italian design house Zagato give a Dodge Viper an Alfa Romeo body. And this one, number six of a total of nine examples, could be yours. It's going to be auctioned in Elkhart, Indiana, by RM Sotheby's along with several other rare vehicles. Now when we described this car as a Zagato take on an Alfa but using a Viper, that's exactly what it is. All the mechanical bits are from the 2010 Dodge Viper ACR, down to the 8.4-liter 600-horsepower V10 and six-speed manual transmission. The body does do an impressive job disguising this, from the signature Zagato double-bubble roof, to the unique, almost shooting brake-style rear roofline and Kamm tail. The Alfa grille in the nose also throws off the scent. But look closer, and Viper elements start showing up. On the outside, the push-down flush door handles remain. Inside, the gauges feature the same fonts and layout as in the Viper, the only change being the TZ3 logo sitting in the middle. Particularly glaring is the audio head unit, which was shared with every other Dodge product on the market since the early 2000s. But the leather appointments throughout do make it nicer. Also amusing is the fact that all the owner's manuals are simply Dodge examples, with no changes to the covers or names. One other bizarre thing, since this is a 2010 car, it was built at the very early start of Fiat and Chrysler joining up. As omens go, this was a pretty solid one. Regardless, it is an extremely striking car that's sure to be exhilarating to drive. And that's not something the previous owner experienced much, because the photos suggest it's only been driven about 200 miles. RM Sotheby's doesn't give an estimated sale price, but it should go for well into six figures, if not more. And it will sell, as it's being offered with no reserve. The auction starts May 1. Fiat set to invest $12B on new models, stop Euro losses in 3 years
Mon, 09 Dec 2013Naturally, you'd expect a massive automaker like Fiat to have an in-depth plan to exit the current European-market doldrums, and you'd expect that plan to include plenty of new vehicles to attract those precious buyers that still remain despite the financial downturn. And you'd be right, though Fiat does seem to have a few unexpected twists up its corporate sleeve.
Perhaps the biggest shocker is a report that Fiat will completely drop the Punto, a car with mass-market appeal aimed at small-car buyers cross-shopping the popular Volkswagen Polo. Its replacement will be a five-door Fiat 500 aimed at upmarket buyers (sounds awfully similar to the 500L) that will be built in Poland. Lower-end customers will reportedly be served by variants of the Fiat Panda.
Borrowing a page from the BMW, Daimler and Volkswagen playbook, reports Automotive News, Fiat is said to have plans to reignite production at its Italian factories by retooling them to build high-end vehicles from Maserati and Alfa Romeo. These will be marketed as premium products, built by skilled Italian workers (who are paid wages that are 75-percent higher than those building Fiats in Poland), and will be sold around the world.
