True classics, Alfa Romeos have a reputation for being on nearly every automotive enthusiasts dream list. With Pininfarina design and proven racing heritage, Alfas of many models have been on the cutting edge of engineering for decades.

A California Black Plate car, this car is currently a rolling chassis with engine and transmission. Just coming out of a long-time collection in California, this car is remarkably clean and dry with many original parts–including top bows (very hard to find). We are able to supply much of what you would need for a complete restoration (see list below and inquire about our selection of parts). This Giulietta has solid factory floors and a very straight and dry, original body. This car is a great starting point for a ground up Alfa restoration. And, with a solid chassis, what a great place to start from!

An early Giulietta Spider; this is the one that started it all. The revolutionary twin-cam I-4 engine was capable of propelling these cars towards 100mph and the ingenuitive chassis design and excellent weight distribution made this a beautiful, inexpensive and thrilling vehicle to drive.

The following is a list of missing parts:

-Headlamps, buckets and front turn signal assemblies

-Eyebrow, lower face trim, hood trim and side trim

-Front bumpers and overriders

-Windscreen, side posts and top trim as well as driver window (track and regulator are included)

-Seats

Alfa Romeo unveils Formula One car for new season

Mon, Feb 18 2019

MONTMELO, Spain — Alfa Romeo has unveiled the new Formula One car that will be piloted by former champion Kimi Raikkonen this season. Raikkonen, teammate Antonio Giovinazzi and team principle Frederic Vasseur posed with the white-and-burgundy Alfa Romeo C38 in the pit lane of the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit before preseason testing started on Monday. Alfa Romeo is the rebranded name for the Sauber team this season. Raikkonen joined Alfa Romeo from Ferrari, where he won the Italian team's most recent drivers' title in 2007. The 39-year-old Finn is joined by Giovinazzi, a 25-year-old Italian with two Grand Prix races under his belt. Sauber finished eighth in the constructors' standings last year. More AP auto racing

Just 45% of Fiat dealers are profitable, and they're angry about it

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

<
On average, Fiat dealers have only been selling about 17 cars a month.
We've been wondering for some time how Fiat dealers in North America have been getting along with just one model range in their showrooms up until recently. Franchisees spent millions building, stocking and manning sleek new 'studio' showrooms, only to have but a single model to sell, the cherubic 500. And even with its many derivatives, the Cinquecento is still an inexpensive model with its attendant lower margins. Perhaps it should come as no surprise then, that just 45 percent of US Fiat dealers are said to be profitable.

Alfa Romeo to offer 4C buyers choice of headlights [w/poll]

Wed, Mar 19 2014

Typically an automobile will lose some of its more radical design elements on the road from concept to production, but Alfa Romeo has done things a little differently with the 4C... at least, that is, when it came to its headlights. When the sports car concept first debuted at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, it had an intriguing, glowing headlight design that seemed more stylish than functional. The headlight design stayed the same when Alfa repainted the concept from matte red to liquid silver for the Frankfurt Motor Show later that year, but when the 4C debuted in production form two years after concept's first showing, its headlights weren't any less strange. If anything, they were even more so, taking on a form that only a fly's optometrist could love. Things took a more conventional (and eye-pleasing) turn earlier this month when Alfa revealed the 4C Spider concept with not only a different roofline but also a new set of headlights. Those units are expected to make their way to production when the 4C Spider is finalized, but word has it that the roadster won't be the only one to get them. According to Autocar, the Italian automaker will offer new buyers of the 4C coupe the option to fit the Spider's headlamps instead of the strange-looking units on the hardtop model. The Spider, meanwhile, will only get the more conventional units. We've reached out to Alfa Romeo for confirmation, and have yet to hear back as we go to publish, but either way, the 4C remains – for the time being – a piece of forbidden fruit that we only wish we could get in the States as Alfa continues to plot its eventual return to the North American market.
