Entire car was rebuilt to specification using original Alfa Romeo parts by licensed Alfa Romeo technicians. The engine is an inline 4 cylinder with only 8953Kms – only driven in summer. Red exterior with black leather interior. This car has upgraded Momo rims and an upgraded Alpine Stereo system. Bumpers were also upgraded and original bumper are included as well. The vehicle was appraised at $35,000 (official documentation will be provided)."

This 1978 Alfa Romeo Spider was originally purchased in California over twenty years ago, 1990, and was meticulously restored to the pristine condition as seen in the pictures. The Spider was Alfa Yellow when purchased and was free from any rust. The Spider was restored from the ground up and the paint converted to the classic Alfa Red.  Each part was completely taken apart and was either restored or replaced with original Alfa Parts. For example the stainless steel performance exhaust system was purchased in Italy and brought over as nothing suitable could be found in North America. The bumpers were converted to European Bumpers, but NA ones will also be provided if purchased.  The interior was completely restored while preserving the interior components that were not blemished. The 2.0 Litre Engine was completely re-built by an Alfa Romeo technician and engine specialist.  The original rims were changed for Momo 5 Star rims.

This Spider is unlike any other Spider out there, as you can see from the others listed here on ebay. You will not find a better Spider out there. The appraiser who came to see the vehicle said, and I quote, "I've never seen a vehicle this well done. Not even if it rolled off the production lot of Alfa Romeo, or any brand, would a vehicle look this good."

So if you are looking for an immaculate Spider, look no further as this car is worth every penny.  You will never find a better Spider than this and you will not be disappointed when you sit behind the wheel and drive it.

Dodge Charger to slim down and run turbo four in next generation

Tue, May 31 2016

The current Dodge Charger is getting long in the tooth. It was originally introduced in 2005 as a 2006 model. In car terms, that's an eternity, though it's been refreshed twice. Still, FCA US will keep the LX-generation car going, reportedly facelifting it one last time for 2019. After that, there are some bigger changes in store . Automotive News is reporting that the follower to the current LX Charger will lose almost 500 pounds and will once again offer a turbo four-cylinder. You might remember the front-wheel-drive four-banger Charger of the early '80s. The recharged sedan will be twin-turbo and it's going to use the 300-horsepower four-cylinder engine currently under development for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, AN says. The target weight for the future car is around 3,500 lbs, while the current car has a curb weight of nearly 4,000 lbs. Look for it to arrive in the early 2020s. The new platform will have a touch of Italian flair instead of the Daimler-Benz flavor embedded deep inside the LX cars. It will be built on an extended version of the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia's "Giorgio" platform, according to AN. Dealers were already shown a styling-buck almost a year ago. Alfa Romeo 6C could return in 2020

Mon, Jan 22 2018

Keep your salt shaker handy, because you might need a grain or two for this rumor, as scrumptious as it may be. According to German tuner Pogea Racing, Alfa Romeo is planning to revive the 6C nameplate, with a production launch in 2020. The company posted its inside info on its Facebook page, citing "an absolute trustworthy and legit source" who is "very deep into the decisions of the management of Alfa Romeo." According to the post, we can expect to see the Alfa Romeo 6C introduced at one of the major auto shows in 2018 or 2019. If true, the rumor is exciting, but not totally surprising. FCA is growing its investment in the Italian brand, along with its lineup. We've already learned of Alfa's plans for an SUV larger than the Stelvio, which could offer seven seats and a mild hybrid system. The addition to the lineup of what we could assume to be a coupe larger and more expensive than the Alfa Romeo 4C, and meanwhile bringing back a classic nameplate, doesn't seem farfetched. After all, we've heard similar rumors before, with the 6C reportedly planned as a competitor to the Jaguar F-Type. Under the hood, the Giulia Quadrifoglio's 2.9-liter twin-turbo aluminum V6 — good for 505 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque — seems like the perfect fit for the 6C. The 6C nameplate has roots in six-cylinder road and racing cars beginning in the 1920s. To see it revived after decades of hibernation would not only be interesting for fans and potential customers, it would be symbolic of the company's continued growth under the FCA umbrella.
