Nice 1989 Alva Milano Verde. Acquired last year with the intention of adding an Evolution body kit and keeping forever since they are rare. I had many cars and this was the last one. I was hoping that I will be able to keep it but sadly I have let it go too. It carries a salvage title from New York state from the year 2000 due to a minor accident as I was informed by previous owner. I had it checked before purchase and there was nothing wrong with it. Any how, previous owner had it for the last 13 years after it was fixed.  The car has lots of of nice features. Please look at the pictures as they are from a couple of days ago. Here is a quick break down:

Exterior: is in very good condition. Has been painted at some point in its life. Some minor dings, one dint in passenger rear door one rust spot around the same area. Roof is done in Mat black plastic dip. Newer headlights. Newer Grill. Euro Tail lights with clear lens & amber signals. No crack or nicks in all glass. All lights work. Overall 8/10

Interior: No Cracks in Dash or door panels. All door handles/grams are intact and function correctly. Front seats are clean as you can see. Rear passenger seat a little worn. Carpets are good. Headliner is newer with gray suede like material and original black sunroof. Nice contrast if you ask me that matches seats. New Driver's side cushion. New leather shift knob and MOM steering wheels in perfect condition. No crack is center armrest (nice and soft). 9.5/10

Electrical: All switches function correctly. 9/10

Mechanical: Lots have been spent on maintenance. Engine was completely overhauled by previous owner. I spent over 2K in maintenance work to make sure I get no surprises for a long time. (i.e. timing belt, belts, water pump, thermostat, hoses, plugs....etc.). Very good brakes, Sharp steering. 9.5/10

Exhaust: Very nice ANSA dual tip Muffler sounds incredible). Brand new Cat installed a month ago to get car registered and smog legal in California. 9/10.

Now the most important thing that you want to know.............

The car is an absolute joy to drive. Straight and tracks very well. Verrrry tight. Pulls extremely strong in ALL GEARS. One of the best milanos I have ever owned. Tranny shifts like it should. No synchro problems here. Clutch is light on your foot and engages and dis engages like it should. Very fast car. A real head turner too. NO MECHANICAL ISSUES. A real nice Alfa for some one who wants the LAST YEAR for Milanos in the US.

One last note. Please have funds available. Put all your doubts to rest before you bid and or win. Ask questions first. Other than what I have described I have no other info to share really. Please read entire listing. No ridiculous offers please. I know what I have and its worth every penny I am asking. If you are looking for a project Alfa, this is not it. If you are looking for Cheap Alfa just cause, this is not it. I will entertain REASONABLE OFFERS.

Shipping is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. I will assist as much as I can in arrangements. Also to be clear, there is no implied or explicit warranty due to cars age and mileage. Please have realistic expectations as this is a 25 year old car.

Good Look to all and happy bidding.

2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio vs. 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk: On-paper sibling rivalry

Thu, Feb 15 2018

Pricing was revealed for the 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, and with its $81,590 price tag, it's within range of yet another high-performance SUV from Fiat-Chrysler: the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. The Hellcat-powered Jeep is more expensive than the Stelvio at $86,995, but depending on options, the price advantage might go either way. This left us wondering, how similar are these two high-powered SUVs? Besides sharing the same number of words in their very-long names, we took a look at some of their performance specs and put them in the spreadsheet below. As always, if you want to compare either of these with other speedy SUVs, be sure to try out our comparison tools. As far as outright speed, both SUVs are surprisingly close. The Trackhawk is just a bit quicker in a straight line, hitting 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds as opposed to the Alfa's 3.9. The Jeep's 180-mph top speed is also 3-mph quicker than the Alfa. But neither of these differences is especially huge. What makes this interesting is how different the paths each SUV takes to get to its results. The Trackhawk accomplishes the task with pure grunt. It has Dodge's Hellcat supercharged 6.2-liter V8 making 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque to overcome its hefty 5,363-pound body. The Alfa, on the other hand, makes do with less power and torque, 505 and 443, respectively, from its twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6. It has less weight, though. Exactly how much less we're not sure, since Alfa hasn't revealed that number, but a regular Stelvio weighs right around 4,000 pounds, so we would guess the weight is similar, possibly a little more. View 14 Photos The differences in how each SUV achieves its performance should result in pretty different driving characteristics, and probably different buyers. Each SUV's bragging points also indicates this. The Trackhawk boasts an impressive 11.6-second claimed quarter-mile time, something that American muscle car fans everywhere care about. The Alfa brags about how it's the fastest production SUV to lap the Nurburgring, something sure to impress fans of foreign cars and those that value handling over straight-line performance. So really, although these two SUVs have performance similarities, they're also very different, and the right one for you depends on what you value. Alfa Romeo 4C coupe will be gone for 2019, but the Spider lives on

Thu, Jun 28 2018

This post has been updated with confirmation from Alfa Romeo. Not with an expensive bang, but a barely audible whimper: That's the way Alfa Romeo's 4C sports coupe goes out. The slow-selling mid-engined car has been cut from the lineup for next year. An Alfa Romeo spokesperson has confirmed to Autoblog that the 4C coupe will be gone from Alfa's U.S. portfolio after the 2018 model year. It will remain for sale in this country while supplies last, and will still be produced for other markets around the world. View 12 Photos The 4C never sold in enormous numbers during its 2014-on tenure, but monthly sales have slowed down to just a couple dozen cars in the past year. In January, 12 were sold, with October 2017 a particular high point with 45 units delivered. By contrast, the strongest month was January 2015 with 97 4Cs sold. Not a single month has seen three-figure U.S. sales. Those sales figures seem to cover both 4C models, so we can only assume the coupe was the weaker part of those numbers. However, if a 4C is what you want, you don't have to give up on the dream. The open-topped Spider version remains on sale, but Motor Authority reports that it gets a $1,000 price hike for next year, to $66,900; at $55,900 the coupe was $10,000 cheaper than the open version, so those wanting one should act on it quickly. In addition, the racing-oriented Track Package will be unavailable after 2018. That included handling improvements like sturdier sway bars and better shocks, along with sportier wheels and tires. Alfa Romeo to launch crossover in 2016

Mon, Jan 12 2015

Alfa Romeo has an ambitious product plan in place to revive the marque and bring it back to North America. And according to the latest reports, that includes a new crossover. A dozen years after the reveal of the Kamal concept pictured here, the new, as-yet-unnamed production crossover – referred to internally as Project 949 – will be Alfa's first, arriving hot on the heels of sister-company Maserati's upcoming Levante crossover. The high-riding Alfa will be about the size of the Audi Q5 or BMW X3, and is reportedly being developed on the same rear-drive "Giorgio" platform as the replacement for the discontinued 159 sedan, which is expected to be called Giulia overseas but possibly wear the 6C moniker in North America when it's unveiled on June 24 at the Alfa Romeo museum outside Milan. Both models are expected to be produced at the company's Cassino plant near Rome, and feature a new family of engines including a high-output diesel V6. A larger crossover is set to follow as well.
