Clean, original and completely rust-free Alfa Romeo 164 Sport Sedan. This black beauty is an original S Model, with the desirable 20-Valve V6 engine, revised suspension, updated Sport interior and body Aerodinamics effects. It has been a California car all of its life since being sold new in Southern California in 1990. Owned locally since then, until it relocated to the SF Bay area last year.
I am a local private-party seller with over 745+ all-positive feedback, not some car lot. I have always lived in San Mateo, and strive to maintain a 100% rating. My feedback speaks for itself, so bid with confidence.
The engine runs very well; always starts right up, idles smoothly and gets up and goes without hesitation. 152K original miles. It is a completely stock 3.0L 20-Valve V6 fuel injected motor with no modifications except for a revised water pump and tensioner update and revised exhaust. Very strong engine, it does not burn oil or smoke. I was told that the top end was also redone, but I have no documentation for such work.
The 5-speed manual transmission shifts very well into all forward and reverse gears, without slippage. NO oveheating issues; the car runs consistently at 175 degrees all day.
The body is remarkably straight for its age, still in its original black factory finish which has held up very well after 22 years. It actually looks very good. There is absolutely ZERO rust throughout the whole car. NOWHERE in, out or under. No dents, no accidents. The car is sold exactly as you see it, nothing more or nothing less.
This 164s has a set of factory Alfa Romeo Sport wheels, with very good radial tires. The tread on the tires is about 80% all around. The interior is in excellent condition for its age. The front seats have NO rips, splits or undone seams. The glass on all doors is fine and all windows go up and down fine. The front windshield has spidering on the right side ( it seems to be a common Alfa ailment); Central locking, Power door locks, Power sunroof, Power windows and CD player. PERFECT dash.
This car has a CLEAR California title. Overall, a solid, COMPLETELY RUST-FREE and ACCIDENT-FREE Alfa Romeo 164s for a modest asking price. That being said, I have listed the car in other venues as well as locally, and as such, I reserve to the right to end this listing early if a serious buyer or a BUY-IT-NOW offer presents itself.
Feel free to EM or call me with questions, and I will try to provide as much information as possible. You can call (650) 430-4660 PST, no later than 9 pm, please ( I have little kids).
I shall be glad to arrange / assist with nationwide or overseas delivery of this 164s anywhere, at the most economical shipping rate available.
Instrument of payment can be a cashier's check or money order(s). Personal, Business, C.C advance or annuity checks may be utilized, but must clear all funding prior to any transportation arrangements being made.
Additionally, a bank wire transfer may be used to my local CHASE Bank branch in San Mateo. It expedites the process considerably and allows for faster shipping arrangements.
Finally, PAYPAL may be an alternative, if arrranged between the prospective buyer and seller prior to purchase.
Upon receipt of payment, I will mail the title and bill of sale to you, while transportation arrangements are being coordinated on your behalf.
Thank you for your interest~!

Fiat set to invest $12B on new models, stop Euro losses in 3 years
Mon, 09 Dec 2013Naturally, you'd expect a massive automaker like Fiat to have an in-depth plan to exit the current European-market doldrums, and you'd expect that plan to include plenty of new vehicles to attract those precious buyers that still remain despite the financial downturn. And you'd be right, though Fiat does seem to have a few unexpected twists up its corporate sleeve.
Perhaps the biggest shocker is a report that Fiat will completely drop the Punto, a car with mass-market appeal aimed at small-car buyers cross-shopping the popular Volkswagen Polo. Its replacement will be a five-door Fiat 500 aimed at upmarket buyers (sounds awfully similar to the 500L) that will be built in Poland. Lower-end customers will reportedly be served by variants of the Fiat Panda.
Borrowing a page from the BMW, Daimler and Volkswagen playbook, reports Automotive News, Fiat is said to have plans to reignite production at its Italian factories by retooling them to build high-end vehicles from Maserati and Alfa Romeo. These will be marketed as premium products, built by skilled Italian workers (who are paid wages that are 75-percent higher than those building Fiats in Poland), and will be sold around the world.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio refresh spied sporting the smallest of changes
Fri, Aug 2 2019Alfa Romeo has a refresh coming down the pipeline for the Stelvio crossover soon, and our spy photographer just caught it testing out in the wild. The white Stelvio in partial camouflage seen here isn’t hiding a whole lot, though. From what we can tell, nothing much has changed on the outside compared to the car we can buy now. Swirly wrappings cover both the front bumper and lower rear fascia. Despite us not being able to discern any differences between this one and the 2019 Stelvio, the camouflage could be hiding some minor tweaks. Or perhaps the changes arenÂ’t present in this test car, and itÂ’s being used as a powertrain mule of sorts. There are rumors that Alfa will add some form of electrification to the Stelvio in this lifecycle. Whether thatÂ’s a 48-volt mild-hybrid system or something as involved as a plug-in hybrid, we canÂ’t know for sure yet. The interior does reveal a couple of the smallest changes. Alfa isnÂ’t giving it a whole new look, but a couple things get moved around or reshaped. The electronic parking brake has moved up to an easier-to-reach position next to the shifter. ThereÂ’s some sort of module to the right of the shifter that looks like itÂ’s missing something — that module is not present in the current car. Then, Alfa reshaped the center armrest. Hopefully that means thereÂ’s a little bit more utility in store for the center console and armrest area. Like we said, thereÂ’s nothing revolutionary here. As the Stelvio was introduced as a 2018 model year crossover here, we donÂ’t expect the refresh to be hitting us until the 2021 model year at the earliest. If Alfa feels like moving things along, there could be a reveal for the mid-cycle refresh next year sometime.
Stellantis and LG launch joint venture for North American battery plant
Mon, Oct 18 2021Stellantis has struck a preliminary deal with battery maker LG Energy Solution (LGES) to produce battery cells and modules for North America, as the world's No. 4 automaker rolls out its 30 billion euro ($35 billion) electrification plan. Global automakers are investing billions of euros to accelerate a transition to low-emission mobility and prepare for a progressive phase-out of internal combustion engines. Stellantis and LGES's joint venture will produce battery cells and modules at a new facility with an annual capacity of 40 gigawatt hours (GWh), the two firms said on Monday. No financial details of the deal were provided. The plant is scheduled to start production by the first quarter of 2024, with groundbreaking expected in the second quarter of 2022, the companies said in their statement. Its location is under review and will be announced later. Stellantis, formed in January from the merger of Italian-American automaker Fiat Chrysler and France's PSA, has said it wants to secure more than 130 GWh of global battery capacity by 2025 and more than 260 GWh by 2030. The batteries produced under the deal will supply Stellantis' U.S., Canadian and Mexican assembly plants for installation in hybrid and fully electric vehicles, supporting its goal of e-vehicles making up more than 40% of its U.S. sales by 2030. The company, whose brands include Peugeot, Fiat, Opel and U.S. best-sellers Jeep and Ram, earlier this year announced it would invest more than 30 billion euros through 2025 on electrifying its vehicle lineup. Stellantis has said it would build three battery plants in Europe and two in North America, including at least one in the United States. Intesa Sanpaolo analyst Monica Bosio said the deal was positive, and a further step ahead in Stellantis' electrification process. It comes weeks after Stellantis and its partner TotalEnergies agreed to open up their battery cell joint venture ACC to Daimler, to expand their European sourcing of battery cells. Stellantis is also targeting more than 70% of sales in Europe to be of low-emission vehicles by 2030, and aims to make the total cost of owning an EV equal to that of a gasoline-powered model by 2026.
