2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is the priciest Alfa you can buy

Alfa Romeo has finally announced pricing for its Stelvio Quadrifoglio high-performance crossover, and it's not cheap. The base price is $81,590, which makes it the most expensive car in the Alfa lineup. The next most expensive is the Giulia Quadrifoglio at $75,295. That's a difference of roughly $6,000. And you can make the Stelvio even more expensive by optioning in Sparco carbon fiber shell racing seats or carbon ceramic brakes. Alfa hasn't revealed pricing for those, but expect the brakes to cost the same $8,000 that they do on the Giulia Quadrifoglio. You do get a lot of car for the money, though. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio gets the same twin-turbocharged, Ferrari-built V6 as its Giulia counterpart, still making 505 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. That will take the car to 60 mph from a standstill in 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 177 mph. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is also the current SUV lap time record holder at the Nurburgring. If the price seems acceptable to you, you'll be able to pick one up early this year. Is Alfa Romeo readying 4C Spider for Detroit reveal?

The 2015 Detroit Auto Show just keeps looking like one of the best automotive events in the Motor City in years, and it seems increasingly likely that we're going to see another sports car reveal there with the production Alfa Romeo 4C Spider. The latest hint towards the unveiling of the Spider comes from FCA's own blog. In a story about the first customer deliveries of the 4C Launch Edition, the last sentences nearly let the cat out of the bag: "Alfa Romeo plans to introduce eight new models by 2018. You'll get your next Alfa fix at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January." Just looking at the roofline of the 4C, it's pretty clear that a convertible was in the cards from the very beginning. Alfa confirmed that with the Spider concept (pictured below) at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and reaffirmed the drop top in the company's five-year plan. Further evidence for the fast approaching debut came recently when a fully production-spec 4C Spider (pictured above) was spotted being professionally filmed in Spain. It sported some changes over the concept, including a cooling inlet on the driver's side rear fender and exhausts at the corners, instead of the center. New Forza 6 car pack will let you race the Pontiac Aztek

Just in time for this weekend's Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, the new Alpinestars Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 6 on the Xbox One lets you slip into the driver's seat of last year's winner. If you want to take something much weirder for a spin, the collection also includes a 2005 Pontiac Aztek. The download is available now for $6.99. The Ford #02 Chip Ganassi Racing Riley Mk XXVI Daytona was in a four-car battle early in last year's race, but it eventually was victorious. Forza Motorsport 6 also challenges drivers who download the car to a new Rivals event around Daytona, and the fastest people could win Alpinestars prizes. If you're nostalgic for a classic Daytona racecar, this pack includes Mercury #15 Whistler Radar Cougar XR-7. The V8-powered beast won the IMSA GTO class in the 24-hour event in 1990. It should be fun around the game's longer road courses like Road Atlanta. This collection also has an eclectic mix of vehicles that aren't racecars. The controversial Aztek and the equally-controversial 1996 Subaru SVX take their places beside a lineup that offers drivers three eras of performance cars – a 1967 Sunbeam Tiger, 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5, and 1992 Alfa Romeo Milano Quadrifoglio Verde.
