1976 Alfa Romeo Alfetta Gt on 2040-cars
Grass Valley, California, United States
Time to part with my 1976 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT. Perfect condition. Registered in California. 2500 miles or so on new engine. Many extras.
The engine is perfect, no leaks, I think it has mild cam enhancement, suspension is shankel, drive line donuts where just replaced, maybe 250 miles ago, I forgot the name of the body kit (Velissimo?), but it is rear wing, all four fenders and front spoiler. All black fiber-glass, no cracks or problems. All gauges work, has roll bar installed, breather hoses to fuel tank has all been replaced, so no fuel smell, new black headliner, new carpet in rear hatch, car is not smoked in, but cigarette burn in gray part of one seat, see picture. No tears is front or back upholstery. All weather call cover. Books, manuals, etc included. Tons of records. Only selling because I have to. Wheels are 6" x 14", Newer black vinyl boot on emergency brake. Great tire tread, you can get in and drive anywhere with no problems, car in Northern California. One project not completed on car was rear tail lenses rubber. AM/FM radio with single disk CD player. Smog is 100% intacted and operating on the car. New alternator, new starter. Newer battery with battery off/on switch to not drain battery if car sits. Car has no rust at all. Wheels have been refinished. Radio is AM/FW with single CD player. Removable face on radio. Antenna is included, it just crews in. i never have it on since car is covered when not on the road. Speedo or Tach do not bounce, they are smooth. Never black vinyl boot on emergency brake. New dash cover over cracked original dash installed. Minor dings in paint as to be expected from car of this age. Car was resprayed in past. I use the clay system on paint, it is very smooth. Smooth transmission. Car is low, center section of muffler will scrape if you are not careful. Picture of Parts Manual, Engine Manual, Brochures, Keys, and Car Manual(not pictured) that are included with car. Also, Alfetta GT body script. Appointments only to see the car. Probably the best Alfetta GT you will every find? |

The 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C should sound even better
Sat, Jan 16 2016We love the raw simplicity of the Alfa Romeo 4C – it is first and foremost a driver's car, and a great one at that. So while there are a number of updates for the 2016 model year, none of them mess with the 4C's inherent enthusiast-centric nature. In fact, these enhancements should only, well, enhance the overall driving experience. The thing we're most excited about is a new Akrapovic dual-mode titanium exhaust. Not only does this option relocate the exhaust tips to the center of the 4C's rump, it uses asymmetrical mufflers and a link pipe with a built-in resonator to create what we assume is an even better exhaust sound. The Akrapovic setup works with the Alfa's DNA drive select modes – in Dynamic and Race, things are loud and resonant, but in Natural and All-Weather settings, there's a quieter tone. Other 4C updates are less obvious. There's some more carbon fiber trim both inside and out, some new color combinations for the leather sport seats, and the Spider's premium audio system and lockable storage containers are now standard on the Coupe. Pricing isn't confirmed in Alfa's release, but from what we find on the company's consumer site, the Coupe starts at $55,900 and the Spider comes in at $65,900. Based on the 2015 models we tested, that means the added content has bumped up the Coupe's price by $2,000, and the Spider sees a modest $405 hike. Read all the details in the press blast below. ALFA ROMEO 4C AND 4C SPIDER ADD MORE PERSONALIZATION OPTIONS FOR 2016 New for 2016, Alfa Romeo is offering even more carbon fiber: - All-new carbon fiber halo offering elevates the 4C Spider's technical look, while hinting at its exclusive carbon-fiber monocoque chassis - All-new Carbon Fiber Trim Package further proliferates 4C and 4C Spider's use of carbon fiber on interior vents, instrument cluster surround and instrument panel and shift bezels - Bespoke Italian style: A new premium leather interior with Tobacco and Black sport seats paired with a Black leather interior with Tobacco accent stitching is now available - All-new Akrapovi?

Mon, 03 Sep 2012
After adding Italian motorcycle icon Ducati to its stable and spending $5.6 billion on the rest of Porsche, Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn says he's done shopping for a while.
"We have enough to do at the moment in taking our twelve brands to where we want to be," Winterkorn tells German newspaper Handelsblatt.
