I am selling my Acura Vigor. We have had the car for about 4 years and
it has never let us down. It is quite a rare car and my wife and I
always point out other Vigors when we see them, which isn't too often.
It is a five cylinder 2.5L and has a lot of miles (225k), but it doesn't
seem to bother this car. It runs great! It has recent new tires, a
brand new battery and recent oil and filter. We had the timing belt
changed just after we got the car, at about 195k miles. I have also
changed out the radio and put in a set with usb/sd card hookups. It has
power locks, electric seats, windows, mirrors, cruise control which all
work great. There are no warning lights on. It has original rims
also which look good. Interior is black leather but is quite worn, so I
have put black seat covers over them. Other than the seats, the interior
is great. The body is good, all lights work, there are some minor scuffs and scratches due to age and the
clearcoat is peeling in places but is not unsightly. This still looks a classy vehicle and drives very smoothly, it will take
you anywhere and won't let you down, has a great heater and cold A/C. Registration is good until Sep 2014.

Acura slaps $20,000 discount on 2019 NSX in an effort to sell more supercars
Thu, May 16 2019The new Acura NSX has struggled to move off dealer lots as of late, and Acura isn't being coy about adding incentives to its supercar. Motor Trend spotted an under-the-radar $20,000 discount, which is a substantial price slash on a car that starts at $159,300. This incentive isn't actually listed or advertised anywhere on Acura's website, but Motor Trend's Intellichoice affiliate (ownership cost and value analysis site) managed to uncover the discount. If you bought a completely base NSX, the price could be as low as $139,300 now. That's before you do any other negotiations with your dealer to lower the price further. The discount only applies to 2019 model year cars, which is actually a great thing. Acura made a bunch of small, important changes to the refreshed NSX for 2019 you can read about here. It's a better car than before, and now it's significantly cheaper than last year's model, as well. That makes the supercar a veritable steal. Acura has reportedly had this discount in effect since mid-March, and sales throughout this year have been improved versus last year — 72 NSXs had moved off lots at this time in 2018, whereas 102 have found new owners this year. That may not seem like a whole lot, but even a small uptick in supercar sales is meaningful when you're selling in such low quantities. The 2018 calendar year was the worst year in new NSX sales to date, with only 170 in total finding new homes. In 2017 Acura moved a grand total of 581 NSXs, the car's best year. If you want to actually take advantage of the discount (we envy you) then know it's scheduled to last through March 31, 2020. That's a long time to decide if you want the Japanese supercar. A 992 911 Carrera 4S ($121,660) with a few pricey options will easily be bumping into a base NSX, so your expensive sports car decision just got a little tougher. Related Video:
MotorWeek remembers retro icons, Supra and NSX
Thu, 16 Oct 2014It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners. Scroll down to check out both videos and get a blast from the automotive past.
