This is a 2008 Acura TSX with a clean title and clean carfax. It has 86,000+ miles on it and the interior is very clean. Seats and carpet are clean with no tears or stains. Has all season floor mats and an all season trunk cargo holder. Car also has XM/Sirius radio with a lifetime subscription. The exterior has a few nicks from normal wear and tear from driving. Two notable scratches are one on top of the trunk (it looks like the previous owner sat her purse up there and put a small scratch on the paint when she pulled it off) and one on the passenger side front door. Other than that the car is in great shape. No mechanical issues, drives smooth, turns tight, quick response, solid brakes, and all scheduled maintenance performed. Acura Concept SUV-X is where brand should be going [w/video]
Sat, 20 Apr 2013We're not saying Acura should off their Concept SUV-X for sale as-is, we're just saying we'd like to see Acuras that are interesting to look at on the outside, rather than just being packed full of technology on the inside. Revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show, the Concept SUV-X joins other compact high-rollers like the MG CS concept as an entrant for China's compact SUV segment.
But this won't be a concept forever. Acura says that the SUV-X is the precursor to a production offering from the brand in China that will come "in about three years." A presser below sheds a little more light on this and the Chinese version of the RLX that will go on sale in a few months, and there's a short video detailing some of the concept's finer points, as well.
Acura already planning NSX Type R?
Wed, Jan 14 2015Acura just took the wraps off the production version of its long-awaited new NSX, but rumors are already circulating of an even hotter version to follow. Meeting up at the Detroit Auto Show this week, Auto Express asked the NSX's chief engineer Ted Klaus about the prospect of a Type R version in the future, to which he reportedly answered: "I think everyone who loves cars wants to see a version that we say is pure red. The NSX has always been silver first, moving towards red later. Someone asked me, 'when will you be satisfied?' Probably never. What you do today, you can improve on tomorrow." That doesn't mean that tomorrow will actually come tomorrow, but it does speak to a spirit of improvement on the NSX team that could stand to keep the American-made Japanese supercar on the knife's edge and out in front of the competition, which Klaus identified as including the Ferrari 458, Audi R8 V10 and Porsche 911 Turbo. The previous model bred the NSX-R two years after its release (in the Japanese domestic market anyway), benefiting from a 265-pound weight reduction, a stiffer suspension, and though never officially confirmed, a long-suspected bump in output.
