I've decided it is time to part with my 2005 Acura TL. The vehicle is an Automatic SSM with 155k on the odometer. About 10k ago, the transmission was rebuilt due to a common failure in Honda transmissions. All of the maintenance is up to date and the oil was changed religiously. All in all the car has been maintained well and is a solid reliable daily driver. The paint has a bit of wear and tear, but nothing that you wouldn't expect from a 7 year old daily driven car with 155k miles. I bought this car used from a dealer and it had about 95k on it. Most of my miles have been highway driving to and from school as well as to sports practice.

All of the modifications have been done by myself. I have all of the stock parts for the car except for the exhaust. Currently, the stock wheels are painted dark grey and have plenty of tread left. I also have a set of 18x10 +18 Work XD9's that I can include in the sale if the sale price reaches a certain amount (this can be worked out with the buyer). Acura teams with Galpin to sport-up the 2015 TLX

Acura used the SEMA Show this week to remind enthusiasts that it still considers itself a performance brand, teaming with Galpin Auto Sports to build a TLX that highlights Acura's sporting and racing heritage.
The TLX is painted a deep shade of blue, called Andaro, and the color will be used on the NSX supercar when it returns to the United States in 2015. It rolls on custom gray wheels with gunmetal and "liquid smoke" pieces, and they're wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubber. The exterior design is punched up with a body kit that adds side skirts, a rear spoiler and new bumpers to create a more sinister look.
The TLX has a sport suspension kit with coilovers with 36-way adjustable damping. There's also brake upgrades and custom exhaust outlets.

Acura ILX Hybrid discontinued for 2015

Earlier today, Acura issued a press release detailing its entry-level 2015 ILX range, but something was missing. Honda's luxury arm listed all of the information about the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter ILX models, but nothing was said about the Hybrid - a model that, when we reviewed it in 2013, left us utterly cold. But now we know why: Acura has confirmed to Autoblog that the ILX Hybrid will be discontinued for the 2015 model year.
The company issued the following statement to us regarding the hybrid's demise:
The 2015 ILX remains a standout choice in the entry premium segment with its combination of performance, luxury, refinement and value and is the top-selling luxury vehicle to younger buyers. Based on the stronger appeal of the ILX 2.0 and 2.4 models, we are streamlining the ILX lineup to better align with customer demand, Acura will no longer offer the ILX Hybrid starting with the 2015 model year.
