2004 Acura Tl Base *rare 6 Speed Manual Transmission* No Reserve! on 2040-cars
Plainfield, Indiana, United States
Decided to sell my nighthawk black pearl 2004 Acura TL. I've always owned a truck so I sold my Toyota Tacoma and decided I wanted to get a luxury sedan to commute to and from school. After a lot of research, I decided to get a 6 speed Acura TL. I recently decided to sell and get back into a 4x4 truck.
Pros: No reserve! Clean carfax, no accidents! Clean title in hand. No liens, not salvage, not rebuilt. Fun to drive 122k miles! 2nd owner! Great gas mileage (32-33 highway, 24-28 in town) Non smoker New rear rotors/pads New E-brake pads New clutch master cylinder/clutch fluid Fresh oil and filter Hitch for a bike rack Recent alignment/balance EDIT: Forgot to add, it also has an Auxiliary/Ipod hookup and an OEM Acura rubber trunk mat. Cons: Body is not perfect! Has dings/scrapes/rub marks from previous owner. Rip in drivers seat Slight vibration in steering wheel around 60 mph due to a bent rear rim Driver side rear tire leaks air Power steering has a leak and makes a little bit of noise while turning |

Honda and Acura render their future visions for Shanghai
Mon, 08 Apr 2013With the Shanghai Motor Show coming up later this month, Honda has released a couple of teaser sketches for two concept vehicles that will be making global debuts. Aside from the renderings, there is no information about either the Honda or Acura concept vehicles, but we can tell that both are some sort of utility vehicle, be they of crossover or people-mover variety.
The text for both images indicates that both concepts show future products that will be launched in China, but there is no mention as to what other markets the automaker has planned for these vehicles. In addition to these two concepts, the NSX Concept and 2014 RLX from Acura will make their Chinese debuts, and Honda says it "will display models substantially identical to the mass-production version of the Concept C and Concept S." The Concept C is will be a "middle-class" sedan built for China, and the Concept S, an MPV that will primarily serve China as well.
2014 Acura MDX goes for a camouflaged cruise
Tue, 16 Oct 2012While the often misunderstood (and infrequently purchased) Acura ZDX may be going the way of the dinosaur, the company's far more conventional and successful MDX SUV is evolving. In fact, the 2014 MDX seems to be coming along rather nicely, if this latest set of spy images is any indication.
In the camouflaged prototype we see here, it is evident that Acura designers are going for a beefier look for the MDX front end. The current car's pointed and beaked nose are nowhere in evidence on this tester, though some version of Acura's prominent shield grille does seem to remain.
It's a bit difficult to tell if the shape of the glasshouse is much revised on this new car, as the camo is applied in such a fashion as to obscure the post C-pillar design. But it does seem as though, when we look hard at the full-profile shots of the MDX, that the wheel-arch bulges and side character lines of the current vehicle have been replaced with much simpler surfacing.
2017 Acura NSX production launches in April
Fri, Mar 18 2016After a decade of waiting and a few false starts, the new Acura NSX will finally start rolling out of its Marysville, OH, factory in late April. Customer deliveries won't be too far behind. We can't wait to hear whether buyers find the supercar as fast and comfortable as we did during the First Drive. Trial production is already underway at the NSX's bespoke factory called the Performance Manufacturing Center. The plant is specifically for production of low-volume vehicles with cutting-edge tech. The site employs 100 people to construct, paint, and check the quality of the new supercar, and they need 14 hours to build each one. Robots take care of some of the more intricate tasks like MIG welding the space frame. View 6 Photos It also takes workers six hours to build each NSX's 3.5-liter V6 by hand at the nearby engine plant in Anna, OH. They machine balance every one and run the powerplant through a 150-mile break-in procedure. While the supercar isn't at dealers yet, you can already build your own 2017 NSX online. Prices start at $157,800 (after $1,800 for destination), but the first examples only come with carbon-ceramic brakes, which add at least $9,900 to the price. When Autoblog editors optioned them out, the cheapest we managed was $172,700.
