Up for sale is my 2001 Acura TL. I hate to sell this, as I've put a lot of time and money in it, but I am moving cross country, and cannot take 2 cars with me.
3.2 V6 (J32) - Runs EXCELLENT. Recent timing belt service, spark plugs and oil change.
5 Speed Automatic - Replaced with a recently rebuilt unit in Feb of 2013. I purchased the unit from a trans shop I deal with, who rebuilt the trans 10,000 miles before the car it came out of was wrecked. Shifts great.
Silver exterior with Black leather interior.
The Good:
Car runs EXCELLENT. No surprises here. Does not burn or leak any oil.
Transmission shifts great, has low miles on rebuild.
Interior is in very good shape. Has a minor wear spot on the drivers seat, but the rest of the interior is virtually flawless.
EVERYTHING works. All windows, electric options etc, all work perfectly including the Air conditioning and heat.
No warning lights on dash.
Has Pioneer AVIC-Z140BH Head unit, with Navigation ,Rear backup camera (Not installed) , Bluetooth with Mic,Built in HD Radio and Pandora integration for iPhone and Android. Also, has the optional XM Unit installed. (this was 699 itself)
Has Prestige 2 Way remote start.
Installed a new Gentex auto dim rear view mirror with integrated digital compass.
Lots of new parts:
New headlight housings and HID lamps. Old housings were yellowed and dull so i replaced them.
New Timing belt in December of 2012
New Passenger side CV Axle February 2013
Transmission replaced February 2013
New Side engine mount March 2013
The Not so good:
Has a scrape/wear mark on the rear bumper.
Passenger door has an imperfection. It appears it had a dent at one time and was repaired. It's only noticeable if you get up close to the car.
Trunk carpet is missing. I am going to the junkyard this week to try to find one.
No surprises here folks, I would drive this car anywhere. I see these going for upwards of 4k, and I am starting this auction with a VERY low reserve. Don't let the miles fool you, this is a two owner car, and has been impeccably maintained. Clear NYS title.

Honda reports $1.9 billion profit in first quarter despite sales lag at home
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have been living in a world of sunshine and buttercups after their April-through-June financials hit the newswire, and Toyota is doing pretty good as well. Honda? Not so much.
While Japan's third-largest manufacturer saw $1.9 billion in profits, the 5.1-percent jump was lower than expected thanks to a drop in its home-market sales. US sales also took a sting, as Honda hasn't been able to match the SUV and truck demand that are currently permeating the American market, despite an uptick in Accord sales.
Honda's initial forecasts targeted a take of 209.3 billion yen ($2.1 billion at today's rates), and while a $200 million shortfall is nothing to sniff at, we'd hardly take this as Honda being in trouble. And even with the dip, Honda hasn't adjusted its forecast for the fiscal year, which remains at 780 billion yen ($7.9 billion).
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee earns Seinfeld four more seasons
Thu, May 1 2014We're going to be talking about Jerry Seinfeld and his excellent web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, for quite a long time, as it's been picked up for four more seasons. Considering the show just wrapped up its third season a few months ago, this marks quite a big win. The new order, reported by Variety, calls for 24 episodes, with Acura carrying on as the show's sole and primary sponsor. CICGC is already slated for a fourth season this summer, which includes five episodes, and a seven-episode fifth season in the fall. Guests for season four include Aziz Ansari, Jon Stewart and Sarah Jessica Parker, although we've no idea what sort of cars are in store. It's unclear when seasons six through nine will air, but if 2014 is any indication, we should expect the bulk of the episodes to arrive some time in 2015.
