Up for sale is a 2002 acura RSX Base. its automatic with 146k miles. It has been taken great care of and was non smoker female driven. Tune up and oil change was done few weeks ago. No leaks, no check engine light, no airbag light, no accident. Car shifts perfect, no clicking sound. Great commuter car. I have carfax available as well and can email you if requested. I am selling this for my girlfriend. She is the third owner of the vehicle and had it since 2008. Interior is in good condition, has leather seats. Selling because I'm upgrading her to a newer car. There is a large rip on the driver front seat, remaining seats are good. Everything works in the car. I have noted the little cosmetic things that are are wrong with the car. It has a large dent on the driver side fender and small dent on the passenger side fender. Mechanically the car is great. The car has a remote start, tinted windows and all weather factory rubber mats. Everything is stock on the car. I have always maintained the car for her. I have the original owners manual with service records, 2 sets of keys along with 2 remote start key fobs. Car is located at Uniondale, NY. I am willing to deliver the car within 100 miles distance or you can contact me to see if we can work something out. The car is still registered, insured and being driven everyday. Acura TLX GT racecar to make motorsports debut at Detroit Grand Prix

Acura debuted its TLX GT racecar at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, and it looks like the racer is set to get its first competitive outing in Motown as well. The RealTime Racing team is competing with a single car driven by Peter Cunningham for the Pirelli World Challenge rounds during the Detroit Grand Prix from May 30 through June 1.
Honda Performance Development is developing the TLX GT with a direct-injected, twin-turbocharged V6 engine, based on the production, naturally aspirated version, and all-wheel drive helps maintain traction. A second car is being added to the effort later.
The turbocharged Acura sedan will face competition in the series from vehicles like the Audi R8 LMS, Cadillac CTS-V, Dodge Viper, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 and more. With the Detroit Grand Prix hosting the sixth and seventh races in the Pirelli World Challenge GT class schedule, it doesn't seem that Acura is expecting to win the series in its debut season, but it will surely gain valuable experience.

Acura NSX GT3 non-hybrid racecar on sale soon

Just over a year ago, Acura debuted the NSX GT3, the FIA GT3-spec racecar based on the automaker's latest and greatest. While it took years for the road car to hit the streets, the NSX GT3 was developed in a relatively short amount of time. This year, the car competed in several races under the factory banner, racking up 50,000 miles and two race victories. Today, Honda and Acura announced the NSX GT3 will go on sale for private teams. Think of the NSX GT3 as a stripped out version of the standard NSX sans hybrid system. The 3.5-liter twin-turbo remains, but, since there are no electric motors up front, all the power is sent to the rear wheels through a XTRAC semi-automatic 6-speed sequential transmission. The chassis is built in Ohio right alongside the regular NSX. The same goes for the engines. The block, heads, valve train, crankshaft, pistons, and dry-sump lubrication system are the same specification as the production car. Final assembly is completed in Italy. This past year, the NSX GT3 competed under the Acura banner in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD class and the Pirelli World Challenge GT category. In addition to those series, the car is built to compete in the Blancpain GT Series and 24 Hours Nurburgring in Europe, the Super GT GT300 class in Japan, as well as other GT3-spec race series. Different divisions of Honda will be handling global sales, with HPD responsible for the North American market. US pricing hasn't been announced, but converting the European models start at about $545,000. Now we just want to see a lightened, non-hybrid version of the NSX on the street.
