I am selling a 2005 Acura Rl. This car is being sold as part of an estate sale. It has a clean title (no liens or anything), never in any type of accident, and has always been babied. It has 115k miles, and has been senior owned for all of its life. The outside is a charcoal grey, and the inside is tan. The car has all options and is fully fully loaded- AWD transmission, full leather interior, sunroof, factory navigation, keyless go, bluetooth, rear electric sunshade, xenon lights, heated seats, memory seats, bose sound system, CD changer, voice command, etc. It is in great mechanical condition and has always been dealer serviced by the owner (please see attached carfax) It really needs nothing, and will drive you anywhere. EXTERIOR: The outside of the car is in excellent condition. It was garage kept, and definitely shows it. No dents/scratches, nothing like that. Only one minor scrape on right rear quarter panel (pictured). Paint is overall very glossy and looks beautiful! INTERIOR: The interior of the car is in excellent condition as well. The leather seats all look great, heat is hot/AC is cold, and all power/electronic options work as they should. It is a non-smoker car. MECHANICALLY Let me first start out by saying that I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car tomorrow from New York to Florida and then back. Given the mileage and condition, you can be assured it is in excellent shape mechanically. The car has always been looked upon and does not currently need anything. Maintenance has always been kept on it, and it's ready to go anywhere. As a final note, all I can say is that this car is in excellent condition all around. Honda to present HR-V, updated Acura ILX at LA show
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Honda has already showcased its new Fit-based crossover around the world. We've seen it in Tokyo wearing the Vezel name and we've seen it in Paris in 'prototype' form. We've even seen photos of the US-spec version. We just haven't seen that North American model in the flesh, but that'll all be fixed next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
That's where Honda will, at long last, unveil the US version of its new HR-V subcompact. The Japanese automaker hasn't told us much else, save to say that the HR-V will, of course, slot in below the CR-V in US showrooms. It'll also feature the company's lauded Magic Seat system, "which allows for multiple seating configurations and the ability to fold the second row seat completely flat for added cargo space."
Alongside the HR-V, Honda's luxury division will also be showcasing a revised version of its ILX sedan at the LA show as well. Acura hasn't revealed precise details of what revisions are in store for its smallest sedan - or a more detailed photo than the teaser inset at right - but it is promising "a comprehensive update that include a potent new powertrain, more forceful, sporty exterior styling and a substantially upgraded interior design."
2014 Acura MDX Prototype is exactly what we expected
Tue, 15 Jan 2013Yep, it's the new MDX. And despite being totally redone, it looks exactly like we expected. That is, it's an up-sized version of the RDX crossover with fancy LED lights stolen from the RLX sedan. And while that might not sound too exciting, we have to say, it is handsome - certainly a more cohesive, refined design than the angular, beak-tastic model that's currently on sale.
Acura is calling this 2014 MDX a prototype, but that's only because it isn't 100-percent finished. Everything you see here will likely carry over to production, maybe with a couple small tweaks. Under the hood is the same 3.5-liter V6 that we know and love from the Honda group, and while we don't have power figures just yet, Acura says it will deliver more torque while improving efficiency. In redesigning the MDX, the Japanese automaker has managed to lighten and stiffen the chassis, improving driving dynamics. More interestingly, for the first time Acura will offer a front-wheel-drive version of the MDX, but don't worry, the automaker's SH-AWD all-wheel drive will be available.
Inside, the usual smattering of tech goodies will be on hand, including the next-generation AcuraLink system, satellite radio, tons of comfort amenities and every single alphabetic safety device known to man (okay, maybe not all of them).

Fri, 30 Aug 2013We're fresh from a balmy rooftop deck in downtown Detroit, where Honda held a meeting this week to discuss and demonstrate a few upcoming advanced safety features. A clear focus of the mini event was the company's new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P) technology, with a suite of Vehicle-to-Motorcycle (V2M) tech a significant second course.
With spirits still high from announcing the 2014 Odyssey as the first minivan to win the Top Safety Pick+ status from IIHS - and after seeing the application of new high-strength-steel sections of the Acura MDX body structure - Honda shared the fruits of some safety tech that is still in the research phase.
