This is the one you have been looking for!  Up for sale is my beautiful showroom condition 1997 Acura NSX-Targa in Red exterior/ Black interior with rare Automatic transmission.  I looked for over a year at listings on ebay, autotrader, craigslist, NSX prime, cars.com, and CarGurus before I purchased this beauty in March of this year.  My intention was to keep this car for a long time, however a recent payoff of my medical school loans along with the growth of my medical practice necessitate a sale of my dream car to build my practice.  With only 25,881 miles on the clock, this car has been meticulously cared for and always garaged.  The car is immaculate inside and out.  The paint is stunning and all original without evidence of oxidation damage.  The leather black interior shows incredible detail and is equally as pristine as the exterior.  All rubber seals are in perfect condition without evidence of cracking or significant wear.

Vehicle History:
-The car was completely stock when I purchased it in March.  I have lightly modified the exterior with professional installation of 15% ceramic window tint, upgraded suspension to KW Variant 3 coilovers, and added Work Meister polished S1R wheels on brand new Kumho Ecsta LE sport 17/18 tires in July. I enlisted Hondoctors (a trusted NSX Prime service shop) in North Las Vegas, NV to perform timing belt and water pump change-out, coilover suspension upgrade, synthetic oil and filter change, along with full multi-point inspection at 25,224 miles. This was done due to the age of the vehicle (16yo), rather than any wear or mileage. They did a fantastic job and stated that the car is in pristine condition. All service work before my purchase and during my ownership has been professionally done, and I have all receipts detailing cost of maintenance as well as description of maintenance performed from 2009. Please see below for detailed service history, modification description, and pics. This car has been babied and barely driven since its production. I have kept the car garaged and have only driven it on weekends. I bought the car In March with 24,720 on the odometer and it currently has 25,881 miles at present. If you guys have any questions feel free to message me through ebay! Thanks for looking at my ad.

MotorWeek remembers retro icons, Supra and NSX

Thu, 16 Oct 2014

It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners. Scroll down to check out both videos and get a blast from the automotive past.

2015 Acura TLX is all too familiar, despite its new tricks [w/videos]

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

I'm confident in saying that the 2015 Acura TLX, revealed today at the New York Auto Show, will be a perfectly nice car to drive. It'll be nice to sit in, with plenty of luxurious amenities. It'll be... fine. And for Acura, "fine" is apparently good enough.
I say that because while the TLX is an all-new offering (it replaces both the TL and TSX), it hardly shakes up the Acura formula we've come to accept over the past few years. It looks like everything else in the automaker's lineup, complete with the neat LED headlamps and signature beaked grille. Power comes from either a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated inline-four with 206 horsepower, or a 3.5-liter V6 with 290 hp - engines we've tested in countless other Honda/Acura products. The front-wheel-drive version uses the Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS) from the RLX, and high-end V6 models use the Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) that we've enjoyed across the rest of the Acura range. Really, there's nothing to write home about here, except maybe, how that power is sent to the wheels.
Acura is finally - finally - moving beyond the world of the six-speed transmission, offering a new eight-speed, dual-clutch gearbox with the 2.4-liter engine, and a swanky new nine-speed automatic with the 3.5-liter V6. This is arguably the biggest news surrounding the TLX, though do note, fuel economy hasn't vastly been improved in the process. The TLX 2.4 musters up 24 miles per gallon in the city and 35 mpg highway, while the front-drive V6 is rated at 21/34 mpg. Optioning for the V6 SH-AWD reduces things to 21/31 mpg.

Autoblog's guilty pleasure cars

Tue, Mar 10 2015

Guilty pleasures are part of life – don't even try to pretend like you don't have one (or two, or six). In the non-automotive space, this could come down to that secret playlist in your iPhone of songs you'll only listen to when you're alone; or think of that one TV show you really do love, but won't admit to your friends. I've got plenty, and so do you. Going back to cars, here's a particularly juicy one for me: several years ago, I had a mad crush on the very last iteration of the Cadillac DTS. Oh yes, the front-wheel-drive, Northstar V8-powered sofa-on-wheels that was the last remaining shred of the elderly-swooning days of Cadillac's past. Every time I had the chance to drive one, I was secretly giddy. Don't hate me, okay? These days, the DTS is gone, but I've still got a mess of other cars that hold a special place in my heart. And in the spirit of camaraderie, I've asked my other Autoblog editors to tell me some of their guilty pleasure cars, as well – Seyth Miersma, as you can see above, has a few choice emotions to share about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Read on to find out what cars make us secretly happy. Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG This decadent convertible is the epitome of the guilty pleasure. It's big, powerful, fairly heavy and it's richly appointed inside and out. It's a chocolate eclair with the three-pointed star on the hood. Given my druthers, I'd take the SL65 AMG, which delivers 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. That output is borderline absurd for this laid-back convertible. I don't care. You don't need dessert. Sometimes you just crave it. The SL line is about the feel you get on the road. The roof is open. The air, sun and engine sounds all embrace you. It's the same dynamic you could have experienced in a Mercedes a century ago, yet the SL gives you the most modern of luxuries. An Airscarf feature that warms my neck and shoulders through a vent embedded in the seat? Yes, please. Sure, it's an old-guy car. Mr. Burns and Lord Grantham are probably too young and hip for an SL65. I don't care. This is my guilty pleasure. Release the hounds. – Greg Migliore Senior Editor Ford Flex I drove my first Flex in 2009 when my mother let me borrow hers for the summer while I was away at college. The incredibly spacious interior made moving twice that summer a breeze, and the 200-mile trips up north were quite comfortable.
