Up for Auction is our 2003 Acura MDX Touring edition with rear entertainment.  We recently purchased this Acura from my uncle who has owned the vehicle since 2007, it had 30,000 miles on it when he purchased it.  The MDX has had new tires, front and rear rotors and brakes, and a fresh oil change within the last 1,000 miles.

Lets start with the exterior: All of the paint still looks good and shiny, although it could use a good buffing and waxing.  There is one dent on the pass. side front fender that can easily be popped out. The hood has normal rock chips but not too bad.  The doors on this car are not beat up but do have a few buggy dings as would any car of this age.  There is one small rust spot on the driver side rear fender well, it isn't bad but it is there (see pic).  I have also purchase from Acura a factory touch up kit that I includes sand paper, primer, base coat paint, and clear coat.  The roof and trunk area show no signs of rust or dents and have shiny paint.. I have added rain visors to all windows and I also have a bugshield for the hood but have not installed it. Overall the exterior of this MDX is in great shape for the year.

Now for the interior:  The front seats both are power and have hi/low heat, with 2 person memory driver seat.  The front seats have no rips or stains on the leather, and are in excellent condition.  The console, dash and door panels are in excellent condition as well.  Mirrors are power with heat also, and the rear view has a auto dimming feature.  The moonroof does not leak and operates as it should. Please note that the cd player does not work and it does have a six disk changer, not sure what the problem is there but one can be purchased from Ebay.  The middle row of seat have no rips or stains in leather and are in excellent condition.  The third row seats also have no rips or stains in leather and in EC also.  All carpets are in good condition and are pretty clean.  All factory mats are included. The dvd system works as it should and is in EC. It has rear heat/ac also and works great.  All of the 2nd and 3rd row seats lay flat if needed.

I also have both keys and remotes and the valet key. I also have the owners manual.

This MDX is in pretty good shape for the year and anyone who knows this product will know that there is a lot of life left in it.

This MDX runs, drives, shifts, and handles flawlessly.  The AWD system is awesome and works great.

Ok the reason for selling the MDX is this, we just sold our van to buy this and we found out quick we just need the extra room a van has to offer, so we will be purchasing another van and this needs to go.

There is no shipping on this vehicle, although I may be able to deliver within 100 miles for additional fee.

I reserve the right to end auction early as it is for sell locally.

If you don't want to wait for auction to end make me an offer and take it home, because it will sell so don't miss it.

Thanks for you time and interest..HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!

2019 Acura MDX refresh brings some sharp enhancements

Tue, Jul 17 2018

The outgoing Acura MDX has nothing to be ashamed of, but the thing about refreshes is that the engineers and product teams always have something to fine tune. Some of it is planned in advance — the cosmetic upgrades and the A-Spec trim were probably always part of the product roadmap. But there are also some tweaks that seem to be a response to customer feedback. Let's take a closer look. Most important, some of the goodies reserved only for the old Sport Hybrid will now be available on all MDXs. Notably, the Active Damper System — a continuously adjustable valve that controls the flow of hydraulic fluid within the damper — is available on non-hybrid MDXs for the first time. The system has several settings, from plush to firm. We found this system worked very well on the Sport Hybrid during our first drive, so it's a useful upgrade that buyers will be able to readily appreciate. Next up is an A-Spec appearance trim, which looks sportier but doesn't offer any additional performance or comfort features, just like the rest of Acura's A-Spec models at this point. For the MDX, wider 20-inch wheels and a combination of gloss black and "dark chrome" trim compliment a revised front fascia and grille. Inside, the seats get a mix of Alcantara and leather with contrasting stitching, there are unique gauges, sport pedals, and a thicker steering wheel. It looks decent enough, particularly inside, and there's enough there to make the trim stand apart from the more pedestrian trims. Oh, and there's an exclusive color: Apex Blue Pearl. A quick aside on prices: The base MDX without SH-AWD runs an MSRP of $45,295, and the A-Spec (only available with SH-AWD) is $55,795. Normal MDXs get a few more color options, although they'll cost extra: Majestic Black Pearl, Performance Red, and Canyon Bronze Metallic. One no-cost color option that's new is Gunmetal Metallic. Inside, there are some additional interior options, like Desert Olive Ash wood trim, contrasting seat stitching, and standard 4-way power lumbar adjustment on the front seats. Advance Package MDXs get wider 20-inch wheels, too. And now on to those tweaks and enhancements that might not have been planned a long time ago in a product meeting far away. The engine stop/start function has been tweaked to be smoother and quicker, thanks to an upgraded brake sensor and some software tweaks.

2015 Acura TLX configurator ready to spec your 'red carpet athlete'

Wed, 06 Aug 2014

When Acura launched the new TLX sedan as a prototype at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show it promised that the car would be a "red carpet athlete." Presumably that meant it would mix photogenic looks with an engaging drive. Now, it's your chance to dress up the vehicle for the festivities with its new configurator that's just hitting the Web.
Prices start at $30,995* for the basic 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 206 horsepower and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic or $35,220 for the least expensive 3.5-liter V6 with 290 hp with a nine-speed auto, but the bill goes all the way up to $44,700 for a V6 with all-wheel drive and the Advance Package (*plus a $895 destination and handling charge for them). Only the six-cylinder can be optioned with all-wheel drive, but all front-wheel-drive models get Acura's slick P-AWS system that steers the rear wheels.
Outside of the available Technology and Advance packages, the options are kept pretty slim. The range of colors is fairly subdued too with shades of black, white and silver, plus dark blue, dark red and a deep brown called Black Copper Pearl. Upholstery options are limited to a few choices for each exterior color.

MotorWeek remembers the 1993 Acura Legend coupe

Fri, Sep 25 2015

When discussing classic Acura models, the Legend, particularly as a two-door, doesn't get brought up nearly as often as the Integra or NSX. Perhaps that's because those sporty models were brash for their time, whereas this bigger car came off as a more conservative ride. For a MotorWeek Retro Review, John Davis and crew have looked back at a 1993 Legend coupe to give us a chance to remember Acura's luxury GT. In 1993, the newly revised 3.2-liter V6 managed 230 horsepower, and this one had power routed through a six-speed manual. It also came packed with luxury features, including automatic climate control and traction control. However, the Legend turned out to be more of a comfy cruiser than an all-out sports coupe for the reviewers. MotorWeek wasn't happy with the performance through the slalom, and the shifter wasn't perfect, either. Still, this clip is a great refresher on a model that's often overlooked. Related Video:
