Hello Everyone, Up for Sale is my Wife's 2000 Acura Integra GSR. This car has been owned by us since 2002. There was one owner before us so we are the second owner. The Car was Purchased because it is fuel efficient and has alot of pep. The power for this model and 4 Cylinder makes this VTEC equipped GSR a classic. It is RARE to see a GSR on the road now adays. This Awesome Car is even more rare because it has never had any modifications, NO aftermarket Exhausts/Intake etc. Just Pure OEM VTEC Power!!! As you can see some security features have been added since we live in NY. We have installed a Multi-Lock Shift Lock System, the keys can only be cut by an authorized and licensed locksmith who is certified for Multi-Lock. We will provide everything necessary regarding the multi-lock system. (keys etc). This car has been reliable and maintained Timing Belt Water Pump etc have been changed as recommended at 100k mark this car drives like the first time we picked her up. We are starting a family and my wife needs an SUV now the car no longer is practical for our situation.

The car has been serviced since 2002 with Mobil 1 Synthetic 5W30 Motor Oil. We recommend that you continue with that.
The Paint on the car is Good, However there are small dings throughout the doors and quarter panels as expected with a car older than 10 years. Overall we feel the paint is good but please look at the pictures and you be the judge. There is some fading due to sun and a few areas with paint chips on mirrors and front and rear bumpers. The tires are less than a year old and still have thick tread left see pics. The GSR rims are OEM but have curbing most of which was already there when we bought the car from Acura of Smithtown. The hatch door shocks need to be replaced as of now the trunk door needs help to open and close, this is an easy fix from any auto store. Also the lock for the hatch must be opened manually as the remote does not open the hatch it may need some lubrication.

Interior: The interior is Black Leather and is in Good Condition there are no tears or rips there is however a slight scratch on the interior roof liner that you would never notice unless you look up.

Please bid with confidence I have 100% feedback and am PayPal verified for an smooth and worry free transaction.

The BUYER, is Responsible for Shipping and or Pick up of the Vehicle. (I WILL NOT PAY OR ARRANGE FOR SHIPPING)

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME I WILL RESPOND ASAP.

WE WILL CONTACT YOU ONCE AUCTION IS OVER AND PAYMENT MUST BE MADE VIA PAYPAL.

2002 Acura NSX fondly remembered in MotorWeek's retro clip

Thu, Mar 17 2016

After a long wait, the new Acura NSX is finally here, but so far the latest generation is proving polarizing among enthusiasts. Whether it's complaints about the styling, the nearly $200,000 price, or the switch to hybrid power, nearly everyone seems to have a critique about the new sports coupe. That said, nostalgia for the original NSX remains strong, and the latest MotorWeek Retro Review of the 2002 model reminds us how different the new NSX is from the original. The 2002 model year marked the NSX's transition from pop-up headlights to fixed units, and it also features less noticeable styling tweaks along the sides and at the rear. Behind the driver, there is a 3.2-liter V6 with 290 horsepower and 224 pound-feet of torque, and it routes through a six-speed manual to get the coupe to 60 miles per hour in five seconds. There was also an available automatic gearbox with a 3.0-liter V6 that made 252 hp and 210 lb-ft. MotorWeek's review lavishes praise on the way the NSX drives by calling it "almost unflappable" and saying "body roll was almost nonexistent." With traction control off, the coupe changes character by becoming more twitchy and requiring that drivers use a careful balance of throttle and steering. Sounds perfect. Easily the best part of the review is when MotorWeek claims that a second-generation NSX is on the way. Over a decade later, that vehicle is finally, almost, on sale. Will it live up to the red-hot NSX standard of yore? We're about to find out. If you need any more nostalgia, the show previously remembered the '91 NSX, too. Related Video:

Daily Driver: 2016 Acura RLX Sport Hybird

Thu, Oct 8 2015

Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog press fleet, reviewed by the staffers that drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2016 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid, reviewed by Seyth Miersma. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. And don't forget to watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00]Hi y'all. This is Seyth with Autoblog. I am driving the 2016 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid SH All-Wheel Drive, or SH-AWD, as we like to call it. Any way you slice it the name is a mouthful. This version of the RLX, the hybrid, incorporates an all-wheel drive system that includes three electric motors: one up front, two in the rear turning the rear wheels in [00:00:30]addition to the 3.5-liter gasoline engine. Now, that powertrain effectively makes it the performance version, hence the sport, of the RLX line. It's got a total system output of 377 horsepower, and 341 pound feet of torque so there's plenty of go juice in this hybrid. Clearly Honda had some performance in mind when they were putting this system together in addition to the sort of typical hybrid good gas mileage. It's rated at 28 MPG in the city, and 32 on the highway. [00:01:00]I've been seeing around 28 in two days worth of driving so far, and playing around with it. It's not the fuel-sipper that you're going to buy ... not a car that you're buying for economy exclusively. The good news is that when you really get into it, the car does feel quite quick. You still have that electric torque so you're really getting a lot of torque push from the rear wheels. You really do feel like kind of a performance all-wheel drive experience [00:01:30]more than a front-wheel drive experience like you get in the typical RLX. Now, it's not a sports sedan. It's pretty squishy. There's not much steering feel. Really throwing it from bend to bend isn't that rewarding. The car that I'm driving today is loaded out to around $67,000. I think you can spend a little bit more than that if you really try, but it kind of is at the top end of the RLX range. I feel like everything does come together kind of neatly. I don't think that this interior is going to feel very old in a couple of years. I think it'll age pretty well because it's a [00:02:00]conservative design frankly. The downside is that, unlike some cars, particularly a lot of the new Mercedes coming out right now, nobody's going to sit down in this RLX and think, "Wow.

2014 Acura MDX ad campaign the most expensive in brand's history

Mon, 24 Jun 2013

Realizing that it must spend more marketing dollars to compete with the more established luxury automakers, Acura is preparing to launch its most expensive ad campaign ever for its redesigned 2014 MDX. At $78 million, according to Advertising Age, the new "Made for Mankind" campaign that kicks off next month is exactly double what Acura spent on the 2013 RDX launch last year. It's also the brand's first cooperation with its new agency, Boston- and Los-Angeles-based Mullen Advertising. Thanks to its bigger budget, we'll be seeing ads for the MDX pop up just about everywhere from television commercials, cinemas and billboards to videos focused on computers and mobile devices.
The first such video is entitled "Human Race," and it enunciates Acura's recent tagline highlight, the synergy between man and machine. More interestingly, the 2014 MDX, which went on sale this month, doesn't make an appearance in the 60-second spot until close to the end. This video is posted below as well as a press release from Acura along with images of various ads we should start soon.
