1998 Acura Integra 4dr 1.8l Auto For Sale - Clean Title - Mechanically Perfect on 2040-cars
Los Angeles, California, United States
Clean and Mechanically Sound 1998 Acura Integra 4dr Sedan For Sale Up for Sale is our '98 Acura Integra. It has 167,978 miles on it. White exterior, with gray and black interior. We are just the 2nd owners, and this car has always been in the family as it was purchased brand new from the Acura Dealer in 1998 by a family member. This is a great car, extremely reliable, easy to drive, easy to park, smooth riding, good power, gas efficient, and mechanically sound. It is equipped with the factory Dual Overhead Cam peppy 1.8L engine, and automatic transmission. This car has been meticulously maintained and repaired the past 5+ years by a former Certified Honda/Acura Mechanic, who is also a family member. Always serviced with high quality japanese parts, no cheap chinese parts under the hood of this car. Check out the photos of the engine bay, there is no rust on this car as it's always been in California. This car does not need anything mechanically, so you can have peace of mind. Everything works, and works correctly. Power everything (Windows/locks/mirrors), Power Moonroof, factory projector headlamps, Cold Air Conditioning, Hot Heater/Defroster, Viper Alarm System, Tinted Windows, Great sounding Alpine am/fm cd receiver with aux input for your iPod, New Tires, recent oil change, recent New Waterpump & Timing Belt, recent radiator flush, New Tune-Up with quality parts (new japanese cap & rotor, and Accel super performance ignition coil). The Gray interior is clean and cozy, and very comfortable. Interior is in excellent shape with no major rips or tears in the upholstery. We used to take this car on weekend trips all over California, from L.A. to Bakersfield, up PCH all along the coast, and also on cruises down the coast to San Diego and back. Thats why most of the miles on this car are good highway miles. This car is extremely reliable and will get you anywhere, every time. The only things not perfect about this car is the body/paint. It has scratches and places where the white paint was scuffed, and minor dings here and there (See photos for paint scuffs), however there are no major dents/damage at all. This was a commuter/daily driver for us so these dings and paint scuffs happened over several years from mostly L.A. shopping malls and parking lots. This car has never been in a major collision, and has a Clean Title. All this car needs is cosmetics, and that's all. Integras hold their value because they were some of the last great Japanese cars built in Japan, and this car is no exception. We truly feel this is the best '98 Integra for the price, we were asking more but have now lowered the price. This Integra is factory stock, and was never raced around or abused. Car comes with the original factory '98 Integra owner's manual, and original factory keys. The reason for selling this car is that we acquired another car, and have too many vehicles in the driveway now. Hate to let this car go, but it's time for it to go to another good home. The car is located in Westchester, Los Angeles, close to LAX airport. If you are a far away/out of state buyer, please make shipping arrangements prior to purchase. If you would like to fly into LAX, and drive the car back home or have it shipped home, we can gladly pick you up from the airport to make the transaction quick and smooth for all parties. If you cannot complete the transaction in person within 7 days after end of Auction, Then a $250 non refundable deposit is required via PayPal so we know you're a serious buyer and can hold the vehicle for you. Only CASH in hand. This car is being sold AS-IS with NO warranty expressed or implied. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Thanks for looking! |

2014 Acura MDX goes for a camouflaged cruise
Tue, 16 Oct 2012While the often misunderstood (and infrequently purchased) Acura ZDX may be going the way of the dinosaur, the company's far more conventional and successful MDX SUV is evolving. In fact, the 2014 MDX seems to be coming along rather nicely, if this latest set of spy images is any indication.
In the camouflaged prototype we see here, it is evident that Acura designers are going for a beefier look for the MDX front end. The current car's pointed and beaked nose are nowhere in evidence on this tester, though some version of Acura's prominent shield grille does seem to remain.
It's a bit difficult to tell if the shape of the glasshouse is much revised on this new car, as the camo is applied in such a fashion as to obscure the post C-pillar design. But it does seem as though, when we look hard at the full-profile shots of the MDX, that the wheel-arch bulges and side character lines of the current vehicle have been replaced with much simpler surfacing.
8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015
Mon, Jan 5 2015Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.
Acura already planning NSX Type R?
Wed, Jan 14 2015Acura just took the wraps off the production version of its long-awaited new NSX, but rumors are already circulating of an even hotter version to follow. Meeting up at the Detroit Auto Show this week, Auto Express asked the NSX's chief engineer Ted Klaus about the prospect of a Type R version in the future, to which he reportedly answered: "I think everyone who loves cars wants to see a version that we say is pure red. The NSX has always been silver first, moving towards red later. Someone asked me, 'when will you be satisfied?' Probably never. What you do today, you can improve on tomorrow." That doesn't mean that tomorrow will actually come tomorrow, but it does speak to a spirit of improvement on the NSX team that could stand to keep the American-made Japanese supercar on the knife's edge and out in front of the competition, which Klaus identified as including the Ferrari 458, Audi R8 V10 and Porsche 911 Turbo. The previous model bred the NSX-R two years after its release (in the Japanese domestic market anyway), benefiting from a 265-pound weight reduction, a stiffer suspension, and though never officially confirmed, a long-suspected bump in output.
