1995 Acura Integra GS-R. All stock, original B18C1 engine and transmission, no modifications, except head unit and aftermarket Viper keyless entry/alarm system.
This car has been meticulously maintained over the course of it's life, hence the high mileage. Has primarily been used for highway commuting purposes. No rust on the car anywhere, including the typical Honda spots. Had a compression test performed and inspection done by Honda February 28, near perfect compression (170, 180, 160, 160) in all cylinders. Replaced most seals within the past 500 miles, including V-Tec solenoid, rear main, and oil pan, as Honda reccommended these to be replaced in the future. No expense has been spared to maintain this vehicle, and have 15 years of maintence records to prove it. The mileage may scare you, but if it made it this far, obviously it has proven itself to be a reliable car with the proper maintenance. It's also the perfect platform for an engine swap if you are Honda inclined. Has only been maintained at Honda/Acura dealers, or Honda/Acura specialists. You will not find a cleaner 1995 GS-R body anywhere. Was professionally repainted in 2008 due to clearcoat pealing. A couple of dings and minor scratches here and there, nothing major. The interior is also in great shape, with the exception being the driver's seat, the only seat that has really seen use. Comes with tan seat covers. Two issues are known with the car: 1. The sway bar bushings squeak. 2. The A pipe has the dreaded buzz at 3500 rpms. It's a 40 dollar repair at any exhaust shop.
$500 non-refundable deposit due immediately at the end of the auction, with full payment due with 7 days.

Honda slaps Legend name on JDM Acura RLX
Mon, 10 Nov 2014It's been eighteen years since we last saw the Legend nameplate in Acura showrooms here in the US, but in Japan it's still very much alive as Honda's flagship sedan. And now the Japanese automaker has revealed the latest generation.
Set to go on sale across Japan on January 22 - 30 years since the nameplate was introduced - the new Honda Legend is essentially the same model we already know in the States as the new Acura RLX. Only by "essentially," we mean exactly. It is the RLX, only with Honda badges instead of Acura ones. The manufacturer hasn't even changed the grille or the wheels.
Although the RLX is being offered Stateside in two forms, the new JDM Honda Legend will only come in one form, equivalent to our Sport Hybrid, with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and a hybrid powertrain pairing a 3.5-liter V6 to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission with integrated electric motor. For the privilege of owning the most luxurious car Honda makes, Japanese customers will have to pony up ¥6,800,000 - which about adds up to $59,950 we'd pay for an RLX Sport Hybrid.

Honda planning sub-NSX S2000 successor
Tue, 13 May 2014Nine years separated the arrival of the original Acura NSX and the Honda S2000. By that time, the NSX was closer to the end of its fifteen-year production cycle than it was to its beginning. The latest word has it that not only is Honda planning a successor to the S2000, but it's not about to wait that long after the new NSX arrives before it's rolled out.
While the S2000 was a front-mid-engined roadster, its successor will, according to the latest from Auto Express (which we are taking with a grain of salt), be a mid-engined coupe - closer, in other words, to the NSX than the S2000. Power would come from a more potent version of the 2.0-liter turbo four developed for the upcoming new Civic Type R, possibly as part of a hybrid system derived from Honda's upcoming Formula One powertain to develop over 400 horsepower.
Whether the new sports car would revive the S2000 nameplate, and whether it would wear the Honda or Acura badge in the United States, remain to be seen. As does its potential production site: while the previous S2000 was built at the same Takanezawa plant in Tochigi as the original NSX, the new NSX will be built at the new Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio. The new S660 roadster, meanwhile, is set to be assembled at the same Yachiyo plant in Yokkaichi as the original Honda Beat.
