1992 Acura Integra Gs-r Hatchback 3-door 1.7l, Rare -only 200 Aztec Green For Ca on 2040-cars
Shingle Springs, California, United States
This is a very rare 1992 Acura Integra GS-R. Although it was a daily driver for years, it was originally bought from Neillo Acura in SAC, CA and serviced by Neillo Acura for 22 years. I have computer print out of all service records from Neillo Acura. This car has all services done by Acura with Original Manufacturer Acura parts. The only aftermarket parts I has installed are (1) the Hasport Motor mounts (a must have on the GS-R model) and (2) the iPod look and feel Clarion radio with USB port for iPod and iPhone use. Everything else is original or original replacement Acura parts.
Original 1992 Acura Integra owner manual and Anti Theft Radio card come with this vehicle. I also have the factory license plate kit if someone wants to hang the front plate on for legal reasons. Runs and drives better that new with Hasport motor mounts installed. Motor is strong and smooth, clutch and transmission shift smoothly into all gears. A/C has been converted to R134A at last service. Sun roof fully operational as well as power windows and side view mirrors. Maintenance records show that vehicle has been receiving recommended dealer services. This car has been well attended to for its entire life. Too much good to say about its condition to write down. Look at the Pictures to tell the rest of the story. This year was the first year Acura to introduced the VTEC motor in America. Only other VTEC motor in America in 1992 was the Acura NSX. Acura shipped ~2000 1992 model year Integra GS-R's to California in total and of those only ~200 in Aztec Green. This one is very rare. |

Acura NSX prototype gets back on track
Thu, 30 Oct 2014Developing a new vehicle is not without its complications, we're sure, but usually things follow a fairly predictable progression: you develop a prototype, you test it, test it and test it again, then you put it into production. What you don't expect is that your prototype will burn to the ground, but that's what famously happened to the NSX which Honda engineers were testing a few months ago.
Fortunately, the Acura NSX prototype is back on track, both literally and figuratively, as you can see from this latest batch of spy shots snapped at the Nürburgring. This camouflaged prototype looks pretty much the same as the last one, only, you know... less crispy. Which is to say, it looks pretty much ready to hit showrooms.
The naysayers may point out that Honda chose colder and damper weather to put the NSX back into testing - thereby mitigating the risk of another fire - but we're sure the Japanese automaker has been working hard to fix the flammability issues, whatever may have caused them, over the past few months. At least, we hope they have.
Acura TLX GT Racecar bringing the 'X factor' to Pirelli World Challenge
Tue, 14 Jan 2014One doesn't normally think of Acura offering anything to mix it up with the SRT Viper, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Nissan GT-R, Audi R8 and Ferrari 458 Italia (at least while the NSX is still off in the ether), but that's exactly what's about to happen. Honda's premium outpost is jumping into the top tier of the Pirelli World Challenge with this 2015 TLX GT.
The surprise reveal of this racecar at today's Detroit Auto Show will be campaigned by RealTime Racing, no stranger to racing Acuras, in the GT class (previously, the team had campaigned the series a rung down in GT-S).
The racecar is powered by a twin-turbo variant of the direct-injected V6 to be found in the production TLX sedan, right along with its Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system. There's no word on how much power this HPD-massaged engine will put out in race trim, but we won't have to wait long to hear it fire up - the car is set to take to the track with team owner Peter Cunningham at the wheel in the next few weeks.
