I`ve only had positive contact with this company. I have used Northtown Transmission Service 5 times or more to repair various problems with two different vehicles. Each time they were courteous and helpful, explaining the cheapest and best way to repair. This company is on the top of my recommendations for automotive repair. I know transmission is in the name, but they will repair most any problem.

rip off alert.. they should r...

rip off alert.. they should really allow for zero stars... took a transmission back too them because they didn`t do it right, their response was to change the oil in a freshly rebuilt transmission, and charge me for something that wasn`t authorized, nor needed.. throwout bearing still malfunctioning... and to add insult to injury, after demanding payment for services not authorized, they sent the vehicle out of... view more the shop with the drain plug not even hand tight, leaking all the new oil they put into it ( my assumption is that they wanted it to run dry so that I`d have to bring it back for more repairs ).. if you have lots of money to spend on bad service and bad attitude, this is the place for you

Brought my vechile in for a leak and they replaced things they they were not authorized to fix and then charge me for more than what was needed
