INFO: This Saturn Vue Redline is the top of the line model when it was rolled out in 2004, it came stock with the body kit, 18" alloy wheels and lower Sport Suspension. The absolute best part of this vehicle is the fact that the entire powertrain is made by HONDA. So not only is it Reliable, gets awesome fuel mileage too, especially with the constant increase in gas prices, and best of all is that it's inexpensive to maintain because it's under GM badge. The Saturn Vue RedLINE is in MINT condition inside, outside was perfect till a few week ago, looks like someone back into the rear bumper and put a 2.5" crack on the top corner, nothing serious tho mainly cosmetic, a few misc scratches here and there, normal wear and tear for 9 year old vehicle. NO accidents, services done , EVERYTHING is in WORKING order, nothing is missing/broken interior/exterior/underhood, no suprises. So as far as I know...THIS is the LOWEST mileage 04 Redline in the country. ****UPDATE - 9/25/13 - Had some locals who wanted to know if a PSI (pre-sell inspection) was done so it was brought into a GM Master Mechanic for a full check up and only thing that came back from the PSI was the passenger front caliper was starting to stick but was not necessary to replace but I went ahead and had it replaced with a new caliper, brake line and brake flush DONE $500 to ensure it will be trouble free for the next owner. The rear wiper motor is known to be "slow" until the motor heats up and the grease thins out then it's fine. 2. GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:

Recalled Saturn Ion facing separate federal safety probe
Fri, 21 Mar 2014General Motors may be staring down another recall campaign for one of its models already embroiled in its high-profile ignition recall. The 2003-2007 Saturn Ion is already among the 1.6-million vehicles being recalled for faulty ignition switches, and now new light is being shed on a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation over 2004-2007 models centering on a loss of power steering.
The government safety regulator has received 846 complaints about the problem and claims that GM has had 3,489 reports of failure. Of those cases, there have been 16 accidents and 2 injuries reported, according to Automotive News. While NHTSA has been conducting an investigation since September 2011, no recall has been issued yet.
The inquiry's length was brought to light by an organization called the National Legal and Policy Center that alleges GM and NHTSA have known about the problem but are delaying a recall. It has sent a letter to CEO Mary Barra asking "to recall Saturn Ions for the model years 2004 through 2007 without further delay." The letter in question is available in full on the group's website.
