Message me at : AthenaArnoldpz8rmc21z@yahoo.com 67 Firebird 326 HO one of 2888 manual transmission cars built in this yr.Beautiful restoration was finished 3yrs ago. Stunning color combo factory code Nwith parchment deluxe interior trim. Lots of paperwork including original bookwith data plate, build sheet, window sticker and purchase documents. Theoriginal motor was missing when I purchased this car, however I was fortunate tofind a complete donor engine from an identical model 2 weeks apart. M20 Muncie 4spd transmission completely rebuilt along with the factory posi traction dualtraction bar 355 ratio rear differential. Everything was restored back tooriginal spec with front disc brakes for added stopping power, Hotchkis 1 inchlowering springs and Lars rebuilt steering with a tighter ratio for and minor changes to engine allowing for pump gas A mild cam was installed to compensate for lower enginecompression, HEI distributor and the carb was jetted to retain performance alongwith Pontiac long branch manifolds and 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust. A hood tach andanalog gauges were tastefully installed to monitor engine vital signs. 15 inchfactory steel wheels in staggered sizes with BFG radials round out theimprovements. All the original brake components, wheels and distributor havebeen set aside and are part of the auction. The restoration began 10 plus yrsago with an amazingly solid body. Quarter skins and outer wheel houses werereplaced by the previous owner along with minor patching to the extremely solidand original floors. I purchased the car in boxes and completed the work usingonly factory GM sheetmetal including a pair of NOS fenders, door skins and coresupport. Over 500 hours of labor and un calculated dollars went into the renewalof this car. The panels are super straight and paint is a 9.5 on a scale of 1-10

MotorWeek's 80's GM muscle coupe roundup includes Regal GN and Monte Carlo SS
Thu, Jan 29 2015Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect. Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC
Thu, 06 Feb 2014We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.
1969 Pontiac GTO Judge vs. 2006 GTO, which Goat gets your vote?
Mon, 08 Sep 2014The Pontiac GTO was perhaps the most iconic muscle car of the '60s and early '70s. With its beefy V8 and color palette screaming for attention, it summarized in a single vehicle everything that made the era so appealing to many young people. Pontiac tried to collect just a few drops of that aura again in the 2000s with a revived GTO, but with decidedly mixed results. The performance was still there with its big V8, but the looks never quite lived up to the powertrain. Now, Generation Gap wants to know which of these Goats is the one to own.
Things are skewed immediately because the 2006 GTO here is a real ringer. It comes from famous tuner Ken Lingenfelter's collection, and it's a one-off example partially fettled by GM Performance boasting a twin-turbocharged LS2 V8 with a claimed 750 horsepower and a wide-body kit. This Goat definitely isn't what you're going to find just browsing for one to buy in the newspaper. Still, dip the throttle just a little, and this GTO pulls like a freight train. It's enough to turn the two hosts into giggling schoolboys behind the wheel.
The '69 GTO Judge here is also out of Lingenfelter's collection, but this one is all stock with a 400-cubic-inch (6.6-liter) V8 and a Ram Air hood for a claimed 366 hp. It might not have the unbelievable power of the turbo '06, but it makes up for it with style to spare.
