Here I am selling a beautifull fully custom 89' nissan pathfinder which was a magazine cover truck in july 1997' for minitruckin and its theme was called metamorphasis..... this was done and completed by late 1996' and has been stored indoors pretty much since then...I bought it with the intentions of finishing a few things that needed updating however I now need the money.... it is still a beautiful truck and paint shines beautifully but does have a few imperfections due to the elements of time.... has a couple of dings on the front bumper a few small ones along the rear shaved valance and really overall its stunning to look at, fully shaved everything with remote poppers at every entry point, interior is fully customuzed as well and has oem nissan factory power window mechanisms recently installed , wheels are very nice and expensive colorado customs with new 17" tires at all 4 corners.....lots of chrome parts under the hood and lots of chrome suspension parts as well.... was set up to be a serious competing sound sytem but needs a radio and probably new amps.... there is no radio in the truck currently and the amps I was told to be faulty by the previous owner.... speakers are all very high end b-52's, it has (4) 12" subs , (2) 10" subs, (2) 8" drivers , (2) 5 1/4" mids , (2) tweeters.... all are nicely blended into the interior..... it also has air bag suspension that is pretty simple. 1 switch for front air bags that do NOT bleed off at all , and 1 switch for rear air bags that DO bleed off after a short time and was told it was leaking from a fitting.... fairly slow leak!!! It does have a new fuel pump and all new spark plugs.... cluster needs plastic cover amd sometimes does not work .... again this at 1 point was a definite show winning capable truck but it needs a few things updated and refreshed.... over all this truck is beautifull and should go to a person who can really appreciate it..... it is missing 2 center caps for 2 of the rims..truck drives great and has lots of power.... it has a clean ca. Title and last time registered in ca. was 1997'.... any questions please don't hesitate to ask... I will accept a $500 deposit thru paypal wuthin 48 hrs of auction ending and would like the remaining balance paid in cash when vehucle is picked up... I will assist with shipping info or transposrting co. Help however buyer assumes all responsibiluty for shipping and or arrangement of shipping... my cell # is (818) 399-9956 , thank u!!!

Jay Leno checks out Nissan IDx Nismo, spiritual successor to classic Datsun 510
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Jay Leno may not be spending his night behind the Tonight Show desk anymore, but he's clearly not done rolling precious metal into his garage, intent on putting it through its paces after a thorough investigation. The latest machine to meet Jay on his home turf is the Nissan IDx Nismo Concept that we first saw at the Tokyo Motor Show late last year.
Leno already has love for the classic Datsun 510, which plays a cameo in the video that you'll see below, and he refers to the IDx as the spiritual successor to that car's ethos - driving fun in an affordable package. Fortunately for us, while the IDx is a showcar first and foremost, it is indeed driveable, and Leno, naturally, takes his turn behind the wheel.

Nissan expands US EV test market for e-NV200 to Portland
Sat, Jun 14 2014Of course, it's going to be Portland. Oregon's largest city, known for its green-friendly vibe and policies, will be where Nissan will next test of its all-electric e-NV200 cargo van. And we hope those vans have cup holders for the inevitable java. The Japanese automaker is working with local utility company Portland General Electric (PGE) on a six-week trial program. Nissan and PGE will record data to better measure how the concept of battery-powered driving works within the local services network. The location makes sense, as Portland is one of the five best-selling US cities when it comes to sales of the Nissan Leaf, which shares its powertrain with the e-NV200. Nissan kicked off its "No Charge to Charge" free-charging program for new Leaf owners in April. Nissan, which had already been testing the e-NV200 with FedEx in Germany, Japan and Singapore as of late last year, said at the Washington Auto Show in January that it would start testing the electric van in the Washington, DC, area. Nissan said at the time that it helped install about 570 fast-charging CHAdeMO chargers throughout the US since last year, including 200 in December alone. Check out Nissan's press release about the Portland project below. LEADING EV MARKET PORTLAND BECOMES TEST BED FOR NISSAN E-NV200 ELECTRIC COMMERCIAL VEHICLE PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland, already a top breeding ground for electric vehicle (EV) sales, is now the proving ground for Nissan's prototype electric commercial vehicle – the Nissan e-NV200. Nissan is working in collaboration with Portland General Electric (PGE) on a six-week trial to help determine the viability of an electric commercial vehicle in the U.S market. PGE has assigned the e-NV200 into its fleet of vehicles with an underground crew, replacing a larger, diesel-powered van. "Oregon has been a top five market for Nissan LEAF sales in the U.S. due to proactive policies at the state level to encourage EV adoption, as well as robust charging infrastructure championed by the state and others like PGE," said Toby Perry, Nissan's director of EV Marketing in the U.S. "If we determine that e-NV200 fits into the U.S. commercial vehicle market, we expect that Portland would be a leading driver for sales as well." This year, Nissan is deploying two e-NV200 prototypes with companies such as PGE and FedEx in top U.S EV markets including California, Georgia, Oregon and Washington, D.C.
Renault and Nissan forge deeper alliance
Tue, 18 Mar 2014If the automotive industry's current era could be summarized by one trend - from a corporate aspect, anyway - surely it would be conglomeration. But of all the major auto groups that have emerged over the past several years, none have kept themselves at arm's length quite like the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
Much like Fiat and Chrysler, Renault and Nissan are presided over by a common chief executive. But whereas Sergio Marchionne's Italian-American alliance has moved swiftly from a transatlantic partnership to a merged company in the span of less than five years, Carlos Ghosn's Franco-Japanese alliance has stood oceans apart since 1999. But now the Renault-Nissan Alliance is following the lead set by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in bridging that distance through several key measures.
For one, Renault and Nissan will make increased use of common platforms, R&D, systems and testing. The two automakers will also cooperate more closely on manufacturing and supply chain management, purchasing and human resources. To manage the increased cooperation, the alliance has appointed several new executive vice presidents from within its ow ranks and a new management committee to be chaired by Ghosn, details about which you can read in the press release below.
