1973 MG MGB ROADSTER

I am pleased to offer this delightful 1973 MGB Roadster. This MG was the passion for the previous owner. Unfortunately he passed and we acquired it from the widow’s estate. William owned this MG for a number of years and was a member of the British Sterling Motoring Club here in central Kentucky. Countless hours were spent to detail this MGB and he maintained a superior performance edge. This MG will start quickly and run with the best out there. The clutch was replaced in recent years and the transmission shifts with perfection. There is a rattle when in reverse but does not seem to affect it. The brakes are a bit weak from sitting so we will have them adjusted before delivery. There are no other mechanical issues. The body is very presentable with no visible rust issues. The undercarriage is the best I have ever seen as well as the detail of the engine compartment. It is hard to reflect the quality of workmanship in a few pictures but anyone that has come in contact with the car raves over the quality of it. The interior appears very original and true to MG specifications. This is the last year for the chrome bumper MG’s as they had to give way in mid 1974 to the ugly black bumpers. This MG is dialed in and is a pleasure to drive. It has the look to wow people and the detail to please a concours judge. As always if you have any questions simply call of email. KY bidders will add 6% usage tax and $199 transfer/doc fees. Out of state residents will add $128 to cover title fees, mailing costs, temporary tags, etc. Contact to be made by winning bidder within business 24 hours and a minimum partial payment to be made within 72 hours of auction end. The partial payment is non-refundable, unless we fail to deliver the goods as described. Balance will be due within 7 business days of the close of the auction. Any exceptions to be worked out before the completion of the sale. Auctions ending on a Friday or holiday will be addressed the follow business day. We will be happy to assist the new owner in arranging transportation from our nearby airport, Lexington Bluegrass Field, at no extra charge.

Unqualified or deadbeat bidding, auction interference, or any for of harassment will be subject to legal prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
