This is a great custom 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ. This has just been finished being redone about 1000 miles ago. There are a lot of new parts on it and a fresh paint job. I hate to sell it but its hard for me to use it for what i need it for with kids still being in car seats and stuff.

This has the 4.0 inline 6 engine that has about 51,000 miles on it and it runs very strong and with the flowmaster exhaust everyone thinks it is a V8 which it does sound like it. There is also a new Center Force clutch that is great. The paint is the new GM green that is used I believe on the Camaro's. The body was completely taken off and gone through when painted so inside and under seals are all painted. The drive shafts and shocks are also painted to match as well as the covers on the engine, hooks on bumpers and differential cover.
The tires are new Super Swamper 38x15x15 on Dick Cepek 15x12 wheels with color matched bead locks. (I belive they are the DC-1's). These fit great with the 9-10" lift. The suspension lift is 6 or 7 inches and there is also a 3" body lift on it. There are 2 KC light in the rear which have strobes hooked up and 11 KC lights in the front as well as a strobe bar across the bottom of the windshield. There are HID headlights with strobes in those also. The fronts are controlled by 3 different switches and the rears are on a switch. These can all be used at the same time if needed which is crazy bright. Carpet inside is also new.
The stereo has a nice CD player with a total of 8 speakers. There are 2 speakers in the dash, 2 on the sound bar, 2 6x9's in boxes in the rear as well as a box with 2 10" subs behind the rear seat. Also a CB with antenna on the rear. The top is a newer tinted Bestop and as you can see is like new. There is also an air compressor on board under the driver seat that fills a 200 psi tanks that runs the large train horns. There is also an air connection in the front that you can hook up an air hose to run air tools or inflate/deflate tires, and I use it with a blower adapter that comes in handy. There are LED tails and LED lights in the interior under the dash and above. All bumpers are new and there is also a winch in the front which has a remote too. Everything is protected with a viper alarm that has a 2 way remote to let you know if it is triggered.
Engine has 51k but Jeep has 200k. Dont let mileage on Jeep fool you most everything has been replaced anyway.

There is more than what is listed so check out pictures. This is truly one of the nicest Jeep's around in my opinion and the pictures just dont do it justice. Please ask any questions and make arrangement to stop by and check it out you will be impressed. There is a ton of money invested in this not to mention time and labor. I am interested in trades possibly muscle cars but please dont waste my time offering me junk.
I can assist with shipping you just have to make arrangement and take care of the shipping costs but I can try and help on my end getting it on the truck. Contact me within 24 hours of winning the auction and full payment is due within 7 days of auctions end.

2018 L.A. Auto Show: 5-plus takeaways on Jeep, Honda, Porsche and more

Thu, Nov 29 2018

The 2018 L.A. Auto Show is making a strong case that auto shows aren't dead. Carmakers are ladling out sports cars and SUVs featuring serious style and performance in Los Angeles, and it's a feast for the senses. We're talking the new Porsche 911, the long-awaited Jeep Gladiator and the stylish Mazda3. It's the best car show with the most important reveals since the 2018 Detroit Auto Show kicked off the year. Here are some quick reactions: The 2019 Jeep Gladiator is a rock star When the story went live on Autoblog, our traffic went straight up. I've literally never seen the graph go straight up. So yeah, you guys seem to like it. I do, too. It's everything I want in a vehicle, including enough of a retro feel that it satisfies my cravings for an old Cherokee XJ. It's more capable and likely more expensive than I originally anticipated, but Jeep is going to have to expand its Toledo factory to keep up with demand. Don't be fooled by whatever the politicians say when that happens. It's because people like Jeeps and pickups, and this is the hero sandwich of all of that. I'd likely go with the 3.6-liter and a manual transmission if I were buying a Gladiator, but the diesel is compelling, too. Gladiator is a great name, drenched in history. I like it better than Scrambler, which never felt right to me. Only issue: It's a little over-the-top. Imagine this conversation: "So, ready to go to Panera?" "Sure, let's take the Gladiator." I mean, it's a bit much to refer to your personal vehicle as the Gladiator. Unless Russell Crowe is driving it. Then it's fine. The 2020 Porsche 911 is conservatively brilliant Every time I drive a 718 Cayman, Jaguar F-Type or another 911 challenger, I wonder if the 911 may be over the hill. It's not. And it likely never will be. This latest generation, dubbed 992 in Porsche-speak, stayed the course. The back takes some Mission E stylings that give the 911 a more modern feel. The flat six gets a little more power. The digital-heavy interior looks futuristic and slick. But overall, it's a blocking-and-tackling update that should satisfy the purists and maybe draw in a few new Porsche fans. It's the right time for the 2019 Honda Passport This slots between the Honda CR-V and the Honda Pilot. That's serious segmentation, but it's another crossover, and it's undoubtedly what the people want.

Jeep and Alfa Romeo join the already exotic Italian police force

Mon, Dec 12 2016

Police departments in Italy are blessed with some of the most iconic cop cars on the planet. Where else will you see a pale blue Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 emblazoned with "Polizia" on the road? FCA decided they couldn't let Lamborghini steal the show and have handed over the first Jeep Renegade and Alfa Romeo Giulietta to the Police Academy in Rome. FCA is also loaning two Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloces that will join the two Giulia Quadrifoglios medical cars that are already in service. The Renegade is an four-wheel drive Italian-spec model with a 2.0-liter, 120 horsepower inline four-cylinder engine that we don't get in the United States. The current Giulietta is a small-hatchback that isn't sold in America. On the other hand, the new Giulia and its 280 horsepower turbocharged inline-four and the Q4 all-wheel drive system goes on sale next month. In polizia guise, it's one of the most formidable and beautiful pursuit vehicles on the road. FCA is no stranger to police cars and supplies Dodge Charger Pursuits to fleets all across the US. We spent some time in one a while back and learned all the pros and cons of driving a black and white cruiser. Daily Driver: 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X Edition

Thu, Apr 9 2015

Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog press fleet, reviewed by the staffers that drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X Edition, reviewed by Adam Morath. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. Watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. VIDEO TRANSCRIPT Hi, I'm Adam Morath for Autoblog. Now, undoubtedly, one of the coolest things about this job is that you're in and out of so many different vehicles, but, I'll be honest, there are times where, if you're in very similar vehicles, they can start to run together a little bit. That's why I love getting into a car like this that just snaps you right out of it because it's so unique and so different from anything else on the market. Of course I'm talking about the Jeep Wrangler. I'm in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is the X Edition, which stands for X Games. Jeep is a big title sponsor of the 2015 Aspen X Games and you can see that all over this vehicle. You have white, glossy accent plastic in the interior; mountain graphics throughout the interior and exterior of the vehicle – a nod, obviously, to the winter sports and skiing that you would do out in Aspen. And then in keeping with that mountainous theme, you have an Alpine nine-stereo speaker system. I'll be honest, though, that some of it feels a little overdone to me. For instance, there's a power-bulge in the hood. Credit to Jeep: the vents are actually functional, but this is not the trim I would go for, just personally. It's one of those vehicles that people are always wondering, "I really like the look of it [and] I like the capability, but could I live with a Wrangler?" It's the same sort of question you'll get from people who are looking at a sports car, "could I actually live with this is my daily driver?" And I have to say, Jeep has come a long way – Wrangler, in particular, has come a long way – in terms of driving comfort. Of course, don't expect "Lexus quiet." You can probably hear it's a big noisy in the cabin. It's a bit of a bumpy ride. There are things about this vehicle that I could see being annoying in your day-to-day life. For instance, the door: it's essentially an external hinge on the door, but it doesn't stay open for you. So, if you're on any sort of a tilt, the door will come back in and you have to just prop it open with your leg. Little things like that.
