2003 GMC Yukon Denali XL, 22" Chrome Wheels. Comes with all the goodies, has 159k miles on it but still runs tough and has been great in the snow. Given year and miles - vehicle will be sold "AS-IS" but at this time vehicle has no powertrain or mechanical issues. Runs tough as a 6.0 Vortec should. No issues with the transmission or the front differential which are all weak points for these vehicles over time.
Does have the "service air ride" light on, needs new front struts - I was going to convert them to regular struts instead of air ride but do not want to put any more funds into this truck since I am selling it. Rears were already replaced with regular struts with error cancellation modules. Recently serviced with oil change, rad flush and diff service, truck is ready to serve its next owner. Has minor interior and exterior imperfections, but truck is over 10 yrs old and shows well for its age. You are welcome to come inspect the truck and bring a mechanic if you would like. GMC Canyon will debut in Detroit
Fri, 20 Dec 2013With the debut of the Chevrolet Colorado at November's Los Angeles Auto Show, perhaps it was only a matter of time before we saw the small truck's GMC counterpart. That time will be January, as we've received official confirmation that the GMC Canyon will be revived at next month's North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The news came in the latest issue of the Detroit Auto Show's newsletter, NAIAS Connect. The article hasn't been posted online quite yet, but it details the Canyon as one of the world production debuts slated for the show.
While we've heard rumors that the Canyon would arrive in Detroit, this is our first concrete bit of evidence. As we've detailed before, we expect the Canyon to be stylistically quite different than the Colorado, though the underpinnings will be shared. The teaser image we have above is currently our only look at the new truck. We'll hopefully have more details in the next few weeks as the GMC Canyon draws closer to its official debut.
GM tinkering with Silverado, Sierra model mix amidst strong early sales
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Variety, as they say, is the spice of life. That's a lesson that is currently being taught to General Motors, because despite a strong showing from its 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the General's pickup sales still can't best those of cross-town rival Ford.
With 59,163 trucks moved, GM fell just over 1,000 units short of toppling Ford, and one of the main reasons for that, according to GM's chief sales analyst, was due to a lack of variety in the engines and body styles available on dealer lots. "We are still over-weighted toward crew-cab V8 trucks. Our light-duty mix will moderate over time as our launch progresses," said Kurt McNeil.
Loading dealers with the popular combination of the 5.3-liter V8 and the four-door, Crew Cab body style was intentional during the truck's launch, but as supplies of leftover 2013 models, which are being sold at heavy incentives, are beginning to wane, both budget-conscious and high-dollar buyers are looking elsewhere instead of at the volume model pickups.
OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.
