Looking for an unusual or rare antique truck? Could there be a Ford truck in your future? Need a load of coal? Here is a rare survivor of a by-gone era! Offered for sale is a fully-operational 1951 Ford F6 High Lift (Scissors Lift) Coal Delivery truck in mostly ORIGINAL condition! For questions or to inspect and test-drive this truck, email or call Mike at 570-617-2376. This Ford truck has been garage-kept most of its years. It has been recently "awakened" after a 27 year sleep in a clean and dry garage.
STRONG POINTS!
1. Truck starts easily, runs well, and appears ready for the road again! 2. Original Ford flathead V-8 runs strong 3. Original 5 speed manual transmission with working 2 speed rear. 4. Original mileage of 71,189 appears to be correct! 5. Dump box (Scissors Type) works perfectly - see photos! 6. Clear Pennsylvania Title 7. Minor upgrades include 12 Volt Conversion, an electric fuel pump, and new gauges. 8. Truck comes with a box divider (to separate different loads of coal). 9. Working Brakes and Lights 10. Clutch works fine 11. Truck cab (other than driver's floor) appears VERY SOLID! 12. Truck has been driven locally without problems 13. Frame and under-carriage looks SOLID! See photos.
Weak Points: 1. Front tires are fair only; rear tires are good 2. Some driver side floor rust/rot - (see photo) 3. Exhaust leak 4. Paint presents well but does have chips, touch ups, scrapes, blemishes 5. Truck was parked under a tree at some point as there are some tree sap drips on the paint on the hood and fender areas. 6. One brake light is currently out. 7. Truck was last state-inspected in 1985. It was stored in a dry, clean garage since then and recently "awakened."

Ken Block proves the new Ford Focus RS can handle that Gymkhana thing
Wed, Feb 4 2015Oh Ford, you've already done a lot for us today, introducing the bound-for-America Focus RS and all. But then you go ahead and add onto this day of good news by handing a prototype of the new all-wheel-drive rocket to drift maestro Ken Block and capture it all on video. Block does his usual, slipping and sliding and drifting the over-315-horsepower hot hatchback through Ford's Cologne, Germany factory, before making a final and surprising appearance at the unveiling of the new RS to European media. It's all as entertaining as it sounds, and gives us plenty of chances to hear the 2.3-liter EcoBoost at full bellow. Related Video:

J Mays' legacy
Fri, 15 Nov 2013
Mays is by far not the first designer to use heritage design cues in his work.
The announcement that J Mays will be leaving his chief creative officer role at Ford Motor Company on January 1 ends a 13-year run in one of the industry's top design roles. While best known for having a hand in reborn classics like the Volkswagen New Beetle, Ford Mustang and Thunderbird (above), Mays' legacy is more complicated and nuanced than being considered the father of what is known as "retrofuturism".
