Shes the beauty and the beast all in one! However, I'm going to college out of state, so she needs to go. No reserve, so last bid gets it! Start buttering up your significant others now. Great condition with less than 23k miles. The engine runs, well, like an engine with only 23k miles on it. The oil pan and side covers were removed to clean out the dried grease and multiple other minor parts were replaced (hoses, plug wires, etc.) The clutch was replaced along with multiple other minor parts (throwout bearing, pilot bearing, etc.) I have receipts for the parts. The original 2sp rear axle was replaced by a single speed Dana 70HD, however the spring perches have yet to be welded on (to allow for pinion angle adjustment if you change the wheel base, motor, etc). The body is in awesome shape with virtually no rust and very minor dings here and there. I have not done anything with the brakes, so only the e-brake works at this time. The interior is very intact, windows/locks work, even has original tool box with tools! Ford Focus EV's slow sales trigger massive incentives

The Detroit News reports Ford is having real trouble moving its new Focus Electric. As a result, the automaker is offering substantial incentives in an attempt to lure in more buyers. How substantial? Try $10,750 off of a three-year lease. What's more, the EV can now be had for $37,995 ($2,000 less than its original base price) on top of an additional $2,000 cash discount to buy the EV outright - or you can opt for 1.9-percent financing if you work through Ford Motor Credit. None of which factors in various potential government incentives. Last year, Ford managed to sell a paltry 685 of the 1,627 Focus EV hatchbacks it built.
Ford isn't alone in trying to woo more buyers to its EV effort. Nissan cut the price of its Leaf by a whopping 18 percent for 2013, now down to $28,800 and built in the USA. The move followed the automaker's substantial incentives in 2012.
If you want a Focus Electric, you can now apparently get your hands on one for as little as $285 per month with $930 due at signing for a 36-month lease with 10,500 miles per year.

Ladies Love It: Ford Fiesta wins Womens World Car of the Year

It's official: A panel of female automotive writers has chosen the Ford Fiesta 1.0-liter EcoBoost as the Womens World Car of the Year, and it beat tough competition like the Mazda CX-5, Range Rover and Porsche Boxster S for the overall top spot.
The CX-5 and Range Rover won the SUV and Luxury Car categories, respectively, and the Boxster S laid claim to the Sports Car category, beating the runner up Audi RS5 and third place Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ (or Scion FR-S). The Audi Allroad was named the Family car of the year.
The panel consisted of 18 female automotive writers from around the world tasked with picking the best car in each of eight categories, including top vehicle overall, using criteria that women utilize when shopping for a car. That includes safety, value-for-money, aesthetic appearance, storage space, child-friendliness, ease-of-driving, color, sex appeal and environmental footprint.
