Garaged 2012 e-150 xlt premium package in brand new condition with only 9,000 highway miles. This van was used to go up to my home in adk mountains a few times and around town. I have sold home in adk mountains and have no need for this van. Make no mistake about it this van was ordered with the best of everything and will take you anywhere you want to go with 4-wheel drive. Ford sent van over to quigley to have 4 wheel drive system done. I put a 15 inch dvd monitor in van plus a 9 inch monitor up front for passenger. This van is loaded with nav,ac to back of van, extra back up lights, user switches for add on access, intergrated brake controller, took back bench seat out and replaced with sofa bed seat in gray leather on detachable mounts as well as captain chairs are also quick release so you can make the most use for cargo if needed, front seats are leather & driver side is power, seat covers on them from ford. The van is also equipped with 20 inch ford wheels that i had tire pressure monitors put in to and just had ford dial them in on computer at ford so that the warning light is no longer on., I also have 17 inch stock wheels that came on the van with the stock tire pressure monitors still in them so there should be no problem if you wanted to put tham on van. The 20 inch wheel set up costed well over 3000.00 alone. This van with everything done was somewhere around 65,000.00. I also had custom carpets made to put over stock carpeting for protection & A drink&card table that is also quick release. Any other questions you can call 516-351-3557 my name is Vincent. Please serious buyers only, do not waste my time or yours. There is a loan on truck that will have to be satisfied in order to get a letter of lean release from bank. This van will not leave my hands until the funds are cleared or cash in hand. Thank you. This is  e-150 with f-250-350 suspension again done by Quigley. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this van. The van is a real head turner, I am complimented quiet often on how nice the van is. If your looking to buy a awesome van from someone that is meticulous this is the one. The van also has had two oil changes already with synthetic oil done by ford dealer were it was purchased. This van was a 39,000.00 dollar package without 4 wheel drive system from ford. The 4 wheel drive was 11,000.00 dollars more making this a 50,000.00 dollar package plus extras. By the time It was all said and done with tax the van was over 60,000.00. I do not think what I am asking is unreasonable & will consider all reasonable offers.

Ford family keeps special voting rights

Fri, 10 May 2013

Ford Motor Company has a dual-class stock structure of Class A and Class B shares. The roughly three billion Class A shares are for the general public like you and me, while the roughly 71 million Class B shares are all owned by the Ford family. Each Class A share gets the shareholder one vote, each Class B share is worth 16 votes, the result being that Common Stock holders control about 60 percent of the company while the Ford family controls 40 percent even though it holds far fewer shares. The only way that could ever change would be if the Fords sell their Class B shares, but even so, Class B shares revert to Class A when sold outside the family, so they'd have to sell a whole bunch of them.
A contingent of Class A shareholders think the dual-class system is unfair, and for the past few years a vote's been held during the annual shareholders meeting to end it. It has failed every time, as it just did again during the meeting held this week. A smidge over 33 percent voted to end the dual system, outvoted by the 67 percent who are happy with the way Ford is going - unsurprising in view of a corporate turnaround that will be part of business-class curricula for years to come.
On the sidelines, Ford elected Ellen R. Marram to the post of independent director, the first woman to hold the job. The former Tropicana CEO and 20-year Ford board member replaces retiring board member Irvine Hockaday who helped bring Alan Mulally to the CEO position.

Ford evaluating new Fiesta RS?

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Word coming in from across the pond has it that Ford is working on developing the business case to create a new Fiesta RS. The development is encouraged by the extremely positive reception the existing Fiesta ST has garnered to date, and the emergence of the above-pictured Fiesta RS WRC rally car, but it'll take more than goodwill to make a more extreme version a reality.
According to Auto Express, a new roadgoing Fiesta RS would almost certainly be based closely on the ST version, albeit with some vital differences. Its 1.6-liter turbo four would be increased from 180 horsepower to somewhere around 230 hp, and that powertrain would be accompanied by lightweight alloys inside blistered wheel arches, a stripped-out interior and possibly lightweight bodywork.
The vehicle's approval would reportedly require a strong business case in Europe, and not just in the UK where Ford hot hatches traditionally enjoy a strong following. It's unclear whether the Fiesta RS would potentially make the transatlantic voyage to American showrooms, but between it and the larger Focus RS, hopefully the Blue Oval wouldn't leave its home market out of the action altogether.

Martini Mustang is a 'what if moment' gone right

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Feast your eyes on a masterpiece. This is Steve Strope's Ford Mustang in the classic fastback bodystyle, and as you'll notice, it sports the signature colors of Martini Racing, a livery that's as legendary as any Gulf Racing-styled car. But the red, white and blues of the Martini stripe down this Mustang's middle tell only a very small part of the story, in the latest video from Petrolicious.
What would you guess is under the hood? A 289-cubic-inch V8? Maybe a 302, or some absurd Ford crate engine? Maybe Strope went all Tokyo Drift - he's actually responsible for the "Hammer" Plymouth Satellite driven by Vin Diesel at the end of the movie - and found an RB26DETT to drop into the pony car? You'd be wrong on all counts.
This mad, mad man somehow finagled a Ford-Lotus engine from a 1966 Indianapolis 500 car into the Mustang's engine bay. Yes, a Mustang with an engine designed for a 160-mile-per-hour, open-wheel racecar. That's like someone in 40 years dropping McLaren's 2.4-liter V8 from the MP4-28 into a Scion FR-S. It'd just make a monster.
