1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 5.9l 4x2 Good Cond!!! on 2040-cars

Up for sale is a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport pickup with lots of maintenance in the past 3 yrs. It has the rare 5.9L engine which was replaced by Dodge at 30,000 miles under warranty. Transmission was replaced shortly after that at an AAMCO shop. Recent new parts include radiator, front and rear shocks, 4 tires, fuel pump, new tie rods, tie rod ends, and idler arms, upper and lower ball joints, belt and tensioner, cat-back exhaust, and its had regular oil and filter changes. Now for some of the bad points- The top of the wheel wells in the bed are rusting out, as is the rear bumper and lower drivers door. (all common areas for a Dodge of this age) It does stall when its cold, but once it warms up- I would trust this truck to drive ANYWHERE! Its missing the passenger step. Other than small dings and dents all around, no major damage and the truck has never been in an accident. The A/C has a small leak somewhere (uses about 1/2 can of Freon every spring) but once its charged- its ICE COLD all summer long! And the radio volume doesn't work (radio works, you just can't adjust volume). The paint is also starting to peel (clear coat layer) on the hood and roof. ALSO INCLUDED- is a vinyl bed cover in near perfect condition! I am the 3rd owner, and the previous 2 owners took very good care of this truck and so did I- This truck should last the next owner a very long time! Clear NJ title in hand, ready to make a deal!! Dodge whips covers off 2013 Blacktop series
Thu, 10 Jan 2013Dodge introduced us to its Blacktop model lineup a year ago with the 2012 Charger and followed up with more recently with the 2013 Challenger and 2013 Avenger. Now the automaker will be applying this ominous-looking treatment to the Durango, Grand Caravan and Journey models for 2013 as well. These models will be unveiled next week at the Detroit Auto Show, but Dodge has released most of the details for these new products including pricing and availability.
If the Grand Caravan R/T (aka, the Man Van) wasn't aggressive enough for you or its $30,000 starting price was a little too pricey, then the 2013 Grand Caravan Blacktop could be the ticket. Starting with the SXT trim level (which stickers at $19,995), the Blacktop package costs only $595, and adds unique features such as blacked-out headlights, grille and fog lights bezels and an all-black interior. The van rides on black-accented, 17-inch aluminum wheels. The Grand Caravan Blacktop is only available in monochromatic paint schemes limited to Billet Silver, Brilliant Black, Maximum Steel, Redline Red and Stone White
Likewise, the 2013 Journey Blacktop is offered only on the SXT model (starting at $18,995) with all of the crossover's normal options such as four- and six-cylinder engines, five- or seven-passenger seating and front- or all-wheel drive. The Blacktop package adds $995 to the Journey SXT's price and features many of the same black accents as the Grand Caravan like the headlights, grille, door mirrors and lower fascia. Exterior colors are limited to Bright Silver, Bright Red, Brilliant Black, Brilliant Red Tri-Coat, White, Pearl White Tri-Coat and Storm Grey, and the package's 19-inch wheels come in Gloss Black. Inside, the Journey Blacktop comes standard with black cloth seats and Chrysler's 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen, but black leather is also available as an option.

For search giant Google, that means its time to check out its annual Trends report. Besides the most popular search term (the late, great Robin Williams), the most searched for gadget (the iPhone 6) and most searched for disease symptoms (quite worryingly, Ebola took the crown here), we have the most searched for automaker. With the long-awaited sixth-generation of one of America's most iconic vehicles, the Mustang, and a ground-breaking update for the US market's perennial best seller, the F-Series, it should come as no surprise at all that Ford was Google's most searched for automaker in 2014. Jeep captured second place, while Dodge, took third. We suspect introducing a pair of cars with 707 horsepower had something to do with that bronze medal... 2013 Dodge Durango R/T
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Not too long ago, Chevrolet got itself into some trouble by throwing the SS badge on just about everything it produced, so I've always been a little hesitant about the seemingly excessive use of the R/T nameplate on Dodge vehicles. For the 2013 model year, every model in Dodge's lineup has an R/T trim level from Dart all the way up to the Durango. Although the R/T name used to signified models made for road and track, I doubt anyone would be delusional enough to assume the Durango - and some of the other models wearing this badge - are suited for any sort of track duty.
Still, when this 2013 Dodge Durango R/T rolled up for me to drive for the week, I couldn't help but take in its big, mean and imposing stance. Sure, if I had my choice of buying any of the Dodge R/T products, the Charger and Challenger would be my top picks for sure, but it's easy to say that the Durango would be a close third - far above the R/T versions of the Avenger, Journey and Grand Caravan.
