I thought I would keep this car forever and mod it to the limit, which is the reason I have kept it this long. However, a lot has happened since buying the SRT-4 as a 19-year old kid. It was a bang for a buck that is for sure! I have had the title in hand since August 2006 after I bought in February 2006 for $19,300. In 2007-2008 time frame it saw about a half a dozen passes at the track. Other than that, its life has been filled with two 2,500 mile trips across the US for military moves and sitting in storage for the better part of 7 years. I have been living in Cali for 3 months, but plan to head back overseas later this year and there is no reason to let it sit anymore.
The oil has been changed every 3-5k miles and the tires have been rotated regularly. As you can see in the pic, the tires will probably need replacement in the next 5-10,000 miles (still has original BF Goodrich's). Everything is original on the car except I have a Maddog 72% reduction short thow shifter and the homemade home depot catch can installed on the intake system (if you don't like it I have the stock line). In addition, I have a Maxxfab 3in single rear exit exhaust (still in the box fedex'd from Maxxfab), a Greddy Type-RS blow off valve, and a pair of BF Goodrich G-Force TA drag radials mounted on 15in PT steelies (extra cost in addition to car).
The car has never been driven in the winter and only has one small ding below the passenger side mirror, from a metal rake handle, which fell against the car. The clutch master cylinder was replaced under warranty at a little over 1,000 miles. In addition, the passenger side mirror was replaced under warranty after my dad bumped a metal support beam in our basement while storing the car. The mirror was a little loose so he took it to the dealer and they replaced it.
For the Cali buyers, the car is currently registered in PA so it will need to be transferred. Like I said, I have the title in hand and am ready to sell, but I am not open to low ball offers. The car is nearly brand new (still smells new), has been well maintained, and is in very good condition. Please let me know if you have any questions.

John Schneider's General Lee Dodge Charger up for auction
Thu, Jun 25 2015Over 150 years after it was first adopted, the Confederate flag is disappearing from license plates, state-legislature flagpoles, and even toy cars across the American South. While some are ready to bury those Stars and Bars forever as a symbol of racism and slavery, others will miss them as an emblem of freedom. Regardless of where you stand, the emergence of this particular vehicle on the auction block couldn't have come at a more poignant time. It's a 1969 Dodge Charger, and as you can see it's been done up just like the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard. While it may not be one of the cars used in the original television series, it's not without its provenance. The vehicle is the last of four that were customized by John Schneider, the actor who – long after the rebel flag ceases to fly – will forever be remembered for his portrayal of Bo Duke on that timeless television show. It's painted orange, emblazoned with the number 01 on the doors, the words "Bo's General Lee" above each window, and that controversial flag on the roof. It also features signatures and messages inscribed by Schneider, as well as by Sonny Shroyer (who played Deputy Enos Strate on the show), and by sportscaster and former pro basketball player Jalen Rose who once owned the car. It appeared alongside Schneider in commercials and films, and in the pages of the Mopar Collector's Guide. Now it's set to be sold off to the highest bidder this weekend by Invaluable Auctions and Julien's Auctions, where it's expected to fetch between $200,000 and $300,000 – assuming the latest controversies don't hinder its chances.
NHTSA closes investigation on 4.7M FCA power modules, no recall
Thu, Jul 30 2015FCA US hasn't had the best time with recalls as of late. Not only did the company recently agree to greater safety oversight and paid $105 million to the government, that came just days after hacking fears prompted a 1.4-million model recall campaign. However, a recent decision to close an investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration means that the automaker doesn't have to worry about another major recall possibly affecting 4.7 million vehicles, according to the agency's report (as a PDF). Last September, the Center for Auto Safety petitioned NHTSA to investigate an alleged problem with the totally integrated power module (TIPM) on these FCA US models. The group claimed that a fault with the component could cause a variety of maladies, including stalls, not starting, catching fire, unintended acceleration, and airbag non-deployment. At the time, it also submitted 70 cases where this had reportedly happened. According to NHTSA, "no valid evidence was presented in support of claims related to airbag non-deployment, unintended acceleration, or fire resulting from TIPM faults and these claims were found to be wholly without merit based on review of the field data and design of the relevant systems and components." The agency did find signs of an issue with the fuel pump relay in some Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos, but FCA US issued recalls for the problem in September 2014 and February 2015. Without anything else to go on, the Feds don't think it's worth investigating this topic any more.
