For sale is an excellent shape 2012 Charger Police Model. I am the original Owner (I bought it directly from Dodge). This was their DEMO vehicle. It was used in California to show police departments. It was NEVER a track car or training model. Just a show vehicle.

No damage whatsoever.

I installed a $700 console in the vehicle. The vehicle will come with the console and radios installed ($1200 worth of radios, all less than 3 months old)

Anytone AT-5888UV Dual Band Mobile Transceiver VHF UHF - You can have this radio in a vehicle but need a license to transmit on anything other thanfrs gmrs.

XM radio unit will be taken out.

Console: HAVIS Professional series police console.

Antennas: Larsen and Diamond antennas with Browning BR1250 nmo cables professionally mounted on trunk.

This car has NEVER been a police vehicle. It still smells new. It handles awesome and I will gladly help arrange shipping to anywhere in the country.

Vehicle has never seen snow or salt yet.

The rear doors do not have locks or handles installed, BUT I HAVE THE NEW HARDWARE FROM DODGE. If you'd like you can install it as I am including it with the vehicle.

Tires are all excellent as are the brakes and all fluids.

IMPERFECTIONS:

There is a 1" plugged wire hole on the roof where they had a light bar (magnet one) installed (see picture).

3 small holes that have been cleaned and siliconed on both driver and passenger side by front door under roof panel (picture included).

I had a paint chip in the back that I have touched up with paint but it started bubbling the last few weeks with temperatures close to 100 degrees here in Chicago. This is an easy fix.

Almost forgot: reason for selling is because I am in need of a much larger suv that will accommodate the radios and other equipment I plan on installing. This was just a toy for me and I want a Tahoe now.

Chrysler recalling over 280k minivans because airbags may deploy on wrong side

Chrysler has issued a recall for some 2013 Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Ram C/V Tradesman vans built between May 10, 2012 and June 7, 2013. These vehicles may have a software error that would cause the wrong side (opposite side) airbags to deploy in a crash. With this defect, a left-side impact would cause the right-side airbag to deploy, etc.
The recall affects 281,500 vehicles in total: 224k in the US, 49,300 in Canada, 2,900 in Mexico and 5,300 in other locations. Chrysler will notify owners of effected vehicles, and reflash the offending occupant restraint control module to resolve the issue. As car lovers, it's always hard to find a good television show with decent cars, but what the 1990s show Viper lacked in acting, scripting and plot, it more than made up for with cool cars. For starters, the lead car was a Dodge Viper RT/10, but, on screen, it was able to morph into its "Defender" mode making it an armored coupe with a full arsenal of weapons.
Fortunately, you don't have to be a fan of the bad show to love its lead car, and if you really want one, a Defender is up for auction right now on eBay. According to the listing, this car is the real deal - not a clone - and it comes with a V8 engine (not sure what happened to the V10?) and plenty of swag and memorbilia. No word on its actual asking price, but with a day left and 42 bids already, the reserve has not been met at $133,400. The listing does add that this same car was listed at Mecum back in 2010, but did not get sold, even with a bid of $270,000.
