98 Dodge Avenger, black exterior, gray/black interior has only 75,050 miles. $3500
Has good tires, has lots of new parts:
alternator
belts
battery
fuel pump
fuel filter
fuel pump relay
ASD relay
plugs and wires
cap and rotor
cat. converter
rear exhaust pipe
driveshaft on driver side. both lower control arms with ball joints, and both tie rod ends.
Just had a front end alignment done.
The computer was also sent in and repaired.
Heater works good.
It does have a dent on the passenger side right rear quarter panel.
The A/C doesn't work it may just need recharged. The battery and check engine light come on periodically, I'm not sure why. It will sometimes cause the battery to cut out for about 5 seconds well driving. The car continues running but it will shut off the stereo and lights.
The windshield is cracked as well.

There's is some light damage in the front drivers side wheel well from where the drive-shaft came apart on me and I had to have it towed, it got dented from the tow truck driver pulling it up onto the bed of the truck.
The spoiler isn't on the car so the holes and spots without paint are from where it sat.
The spoiler is inside the trunk of the car and may be able to be put back on.
There is a rust spot on the drivers side underneath the car near the rear tire. It's on the bottom where the spot weld is at.

I just started a new job and don't have the time to figure out the reason for them coming on.
The car is driveable the way it is.
I'm selling the car as is.

If you have any questions just ask. Thanks for looking.

1970 Hemi Challenger is a family heirloom with serious muscle

Wed, Dec 30 2015

Petrolicious turns up the emotion in its latest video about a family's connection to their 1970 Dodge Challenger. The orange muscle car that gets the spotlight here is a remarkably beautiful vehicle, but the story of a father and his sons at the core of this clip might leave you feeling a little misty eyed. Juan Escalante is the current owner of this Challenger, but it belonged to his dad first. Juan's father spotted the iconic muscle car during the 1969 Detroit Auto Show and had to have one. He soon placed an order for the orange '70 Challenger R/T with the rare combination for that year of a 426 Hemi V8 and a four-speed manual gearbox. The family even brought the coupe with them when they moved to Venezuela in 1972, and local fans dubbed it El Hemi. However, parts were scarce for the muscle car in that country, and it returned to the US in 1996 for a restoration. Now, the rumbling Challenger with its Coke-bottle profile and black hood is the world's most awesome family heirloom for the Escalantes. In this poignant video, Petrolicious shows how the coupe connects Juan to his father. Related Video:

2014 Dodge Durango leaks ahead of NY rollout

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

Even though Chrysler will reportedly discontinue the Dodge Durango after the current model's lifespan - said to be around 2016 - that isn't stopping the automaker from improving its full-size, three-row SUV. The vehicle won't debut at the New York Auto Show until tomorrow, but images are already leaking out ahead of the embargo lift, and they show that the 2014 model is getting even more aggressive styling to go with more technology inside and out.
Dodge limited its early press shots of the new Durango to just the R/T trim level, but this new look adds a meaner look to this model with more dramatic projector-beam headlights along with a "floating" crosshair grille and a restyled fascia. At the rear of the Durango, LED racetrack taillights show a family resemblance to the Charger and Dart, while a new rear fascia adds to the styling while also allowing for an integrated trailer hitch.
On the tech side, the instrument panel looks to have been redesigned to include a standard seven-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) gauge cluster, and it also appears as if Chrysler's well-liked UConnect system has been updated with the 8.4-inch touchscreen found in other Chrysler vehicles. The 2013 model's conventional console shifter has been replaced by a rotary knob for gear selection, suggesting that there are transmission changes afoot as well. We'll have more details when the silks slide off this big boy tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Chrysler minivans under investigation for stalling after fuel refill

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least one man has reported that his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled unexpectedly on the highway shortly after being refueled. The unidentified man who contacted NHTSA regarding the issue cited as many as eight similar instances reported by other drivers.
NHTSA has announced that it will launch an inquiry into this issue, which could affect as many as 160,000 minivans from Dodge and Chrysler that were sold in 2007 (or more, if a problem is found that extends to additional models years, we'd assume). As of yet, there's no formal investigation, let alone a recall, on these vans, as the agency is merely determining if further action is needed.
Two months ago, Chrysler recalled nearly 700,000 vehicles, the majority of which were minivans, from the 2008-2010 model years to replace ignition switches after an investigation found that their weak springs and detent positions could fool a driver into thinking the car was in the "Run" position, when it's actually in the "Accessory" position.
