1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 4-door, green in color, a result of a
subsequent forfeiture. This vehicle
is a 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 4-door, with the odometer showing 137,180
miles; however, we have no way of knowing its accuracy. This vehicle
has a 3.1 liter v6 engine. This vehicle is equipped with power mirrors,
power locks, power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning; however, the
air conditioning does not work. This vehicle has an aftermarket
stereo. There are many scratches,
several dents on roof and driver side, and some rust on wheel wells and
doors. The tires are fair. The vehicle
was last started and driven on 7-10-2014. The transmission doesn’t shift
correctly, it seems to hesitate and the vehicle needs a new battery. The past maintenance and repair history of
this vehicle is unknown and it is being sold as is. This vehicle
was seized in an investigation which resulted in the subsequent forfeiture from
a DWI in July 2013. When the vehicle was confiscated, it was being driven
on the public streets and mechanically running. The title is registered
to the Alexandria Police Department, is cleared and ready for new owner
transfer. PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle does not have current
registration and there are no license plates on the vehicle. If you plan
to drive the vehicle from our lot, you will need to purchase plates and current
registration tabs at our License Bureau located at 715 Elm Street, (Mon. - Fri., 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) For
out-of-state buyers, if you wish to drive the vehicle off our lot, you may
purchase a 31-day permit for $11.00 at the license bureau. For any buyer,
if you choose to trailer or tow the vehicle, neither one will apply. Buyer is responsible to contact us within 3 days of end of the
auction, preferably as soon as possible. We DO
NOT ship vehicles! Buyer is responsible for local pickup
with payment in person within 7 days of end of the auction.

2023 Chicago Auto Show Mega Photo Gallery: See all the new cars from the show

2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year finalists revealed
Tue, Nov 15 2016The finalists for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year were announced Tuesday at AutoMobility LA ahead of the 2016 LA Auto Show. Approximately 60 judges, including Autoblog's editor-in-chief Mike Austin, evaluated over 40 vehicles and named three models as the finalists in each category. The award for the Utility Vehicle of the Year is new for 2017 and separates SUVs, crossovers, and minivans from pickup trucks. GM investing $167m in Spring Hill for new midsize vehicles
Tue, 06 Aug 2013General Motors has announced a large investment in its Spring Hill, Tennessee facility. The former home of Saturn production will be getting a $167 million addition to a previously announced $183 million, to cover a pair of new midsize vehicles. The investment is expected to create 1,800 jobs at the factory.
That $350 million is being divvied up for a pair of programs at Spring Hill. The first will take the bulk of the money ($223 million) and create 1,000 of the 1,800 jobs, while the other will take the remaining $127 million and generate the leftover 800 positions. But GM says the investment will cover "midsize vehicle programs." So what could they be?
The leading candidate in our minds is a new crossover for Buick, called the Anthem, that will slot between the Encore and Enclave, but will be slightly smaller than the Equinox and Terrain. As we've explained, the new model will likely be the first product to sport GM's new D2UX platform, which will eventually replace both the Delta and Theta platforms. Spring Hill is already building the Equinox, so there could be some credence to this theory.
