Hi you are looking at a VERY NICE 1968 Chevy IMPALA SS 427 CONVERTIBLE 427 CLONE! this is a 2 owner impala the second owner spent 25 years transforming this beautiful ORIGINAL SS IMPALA into a era correct 427 clone. The only part not finished is the 427 hood hump and the 67 vette style fender fins. This car spent most of its 2 life in a under ground parking garage in the sears tower in down town Chicago.Ill.
If you look at the pictures you will see the license plate that represents the second tenant to move into the building when completed. This is a very clean and straight rust free body with no know issues. The 427 engine and turbo hydromatic 3 speed trans work together as they should and sounds excellent! The convertible top looks new and the plastic rear window is clear. The interior is all original and showing its patina but still in very nice condition! All lights, turns signals brake light work, and the car goes down the road like it did back in 1968. Overall I consider this Impala a daily driver that could be detailed out to be a very serious weekend driver or a drivee to local car shows in the summer time.

Chevy bringing updated Equinox to Chicago
Fri, Feb 6 2015An updated Chevy Equinox will be revealed at next week's Chicago Auto Show, the automaker confirmed Friday in a press release. The debut of the updated, 2016 Equinox comes on the heels of the midsize crossover – pictured above in its current, 2015-model-year form – posting its best January sales month ever. No details have been released, but Chevy did send out the teaser image you see at right, showing an updated front fascia with new headlamps and LED running lights. This update for the Equinox can't come soon enough. The midsize crossover segment is huge right now, and Chevy's player has largely been unchanged since the second-generation Equinox debuted in 2009. When asked about when we might see a tweaked version of the GMC Terrain – the Equinox's sibling – a General Motors spokesperson could not confirm any specific timing. In any case, we'll bring you all the official details of the new Equinox when it shows its updated face, next week. Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
