Rare Cadillac Seville Elegante / LOW RESERVE / Classic Two-Tone Paint Job Car has fairly Low Mileage (approx. 75,000). This car has been in our family for many years, repainted to original when purchased with new rims and updated CD Player .We will include the original rims and original CB in this auction as well in case you'd like to restore to original. This car was kept in storage during winter months for most of the time in our possession. It did sit COVERED for roughly a year and a half through winters (driven in warm weather), so there are some surface rust spots forming around roof area (see pics) and wheel well. Car Runs Great, Drives Smooth and everything works to the best of our knowledge. Like most older cars, needs to warm up a bit. Under the hood looks good, the automatic trunk works, and it is loaded with options, as most Caddy's were. Inspected and ready to cruise. Please Note: We unsure if '80 or '81. Vin was not verifying as a 1981 (through ebay submission), so either 1980/81. Title says 1981 and Vin has been checked multiple times for verification. |

The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
Jay Leno welcomes a 2016 Cadillac CTS-V into the garage
Tue, Nov 17 2015After checking out a multitude of classic cars and customs over the past few weeks, Jay Leno switches things up with a modern performance machine in the latest video from the garage – a 2016 Cadillac CTS-V. Leno is curious about Caddy's attempt to challenge the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S, and he takes a long, technical look at the sedan with chief engineer David Leone. Not content to just peek under the hood, Leno puts the CTS-V up on the rack to see what it packs underneath the svelte body. Once he gets the lowdown on the Caddy's engineering, it's time for a drive. Leno also flexes his interviewing skills while behind the wheel and gets even more info about the CTS-V's capabilities from Leone. He seems fairly impressed, but Leno's most entertaining question about the 640-horsepower sedan is whether it can do a burnout. He provides a definitive answer to that at the end of the clip. GM slashes prices in China as sales falter
Thu, May 14 2015Buying a vehicle from General Motors' stable of brands might be a lot cheaper in the near future – at least for customers in China. The effort comes as GM hopes to keep sales there growing, and the decision alludes to yet another sign that the Asian country no longer has the booming auto market of past years. GM and its Chinese joint venture partner SAIC are slashing prices by as much as the equivalent to $8,700 on 40 models from Buick, Chevrolet, and Cadillac, according to The Detroit News. Across all of automaker's nameplates, the overall sales dipped in China in April by 0.4 percent to 258,484 vehicles. Among the drops, Buick was down 8.5 percent, and Chevy shrunk 5.6 percent. Caddy's numbers increased 4.6 percent for the month, though. Buick remains a popular brand in the minds of Chinese consumers, but according to The Detroit News domestic automakers there are starting to eat into the dominance of foreign companies in the market. The country remains important for GM, though. Late last year, it outlined a future strategy that included China as a major pillar, including a $14 billion investment to build five new factories and boost sales.
