2007 07 Cadillac Escalade Ext Black Truck Navi Awd! Loaded! Low Reserve! on 2040-cars
Springdale, Arkansas, United States
2007 CADILLAC ESCALADE EXT AWD. LOADED.
We bought this car from rebuilder/wholesaler in January of 2014. We were able to obtain the photo from the original insurance listing (rear end damage, please see pic attached). There were no damage to the drivetrain, no airbags deployed and no frame/suspension damage. The rear bumper was replaced, along with tailgate, bumper sensors, and new back up camera. This Escalade has been fully repaired with new replacement parts however we did not repair this vehicle, it was purchased for the owner which was 'turn key' ready for the snow season.
It runs and drives great. Dash is free of all ‘check engine’ lights. Leather
is in overall great condition. Some TLC are noted in the photos: The chrome on the interior handles is peeling off (common problem on GM trucks) the pillars are fading (another common problem) and the folder slot on the back of the front seats need to be pushed back, not tears and a minor fix from any upholstery. Navigation disc is not included. Vehicle is sold as is! Overall condition of the vehicle is great with normal wear and tear and all features/options are in working order. Tires have more than 80% tread on
them, so you will not need new tires anytime soon. The current title is a Texas salvage title. Please check with your state before bidding. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, and affidavit of reconstruction. You will need this as well as a VIN verification from your local state or highway patrol. This only takes a few minutes and they will verify and inspect that the title matches the listed vehicle. The reason we or any other dealer selling repaired salvage vehicles does not have this title ‘rebuilt ready’ is because we are then forced to register it personally which would involve us paying the full sales tax and property tax for the following year. It is in the best interest and cost efficient for the seller and new owner if the new owner titles it back at their home state and get the rebuilt title that way. Again, please check with your state before bidding. Vehicle mileage is at 95,256. But wholesaler is currently driving this vehicle as a daily driver so this will reflect the mileage at time of sale. ALSO the vehicle is also listed for sale locally so we reserve the right to end auction at any time. If you have any further questions please give
us a call or text @ 479-445-0304 during respectful time. Thank You. |

Cadillac ELR getting massive discounts, some up to $14,000
Mon, Jul 14 2014Well, that didn't go as planned. General Motors had marketed the Cadillac ELR extended-range plug-in as a premium version of the Chevrolet Volt with some Caddy refinements. Now, it looks like that premium, at least from a price standpoint, is shrinking. Shoppers in a number of states are reporting that GM and its dealers are discounting the ELR in order to move more off dealer lots. The issue is that few people are biting at the official price tag of about $76,000, so GM has started offering as much as $8,000 worth of dealer and customer incentives, Transport Evolved reports. More recently, dealers in states such as Florida, Texas and Maryland are offering discounts in the $12,000-to-$14,000 range, and that's before any federal and state plug-in incentives kick in. It's not difficult to guess why. Through the first half of the year, GM sold fewer than 400 ELRs. Last month, Caddy moved just 97 units, or about as many as Tesla sells of its Model S in a day. Perpahs recent spy shots that reveal a test ELR that appears to up the sportiness quotient, with touches such as larger wheels and brakes, will also help sales. Check out Autoblog's "First Drive" impressions of the ELR here.
Comparing Cadillac's crazy classy coupes
Wed, May 6 2015I just returned from the press launch of Cadillac's new ATS-V, a high-performance version of the US luxury marque's entry-level compact car. While ordinary ATVs offer a choice of a 202-horspower, 4-cylinder, a 272-hp turbocharged four or a 321-hp V-6, this one packs a twin-turbo V-6 that pumps out 464 thoroughbred horses and 445 pound-feet of hard-charging torque. Starting at $62,000 for the sedan and $64,000 for the sexy coupe, ATS-Vs are available with a 6-speed manual (with Active Rev Matching and no-lift shift capability) or an 8-speed automatic with steering-wheel shift paddles. They comes with GM's latest 4-mode Magnetic Ride Control, 5-mode Performance Traction Management (with launch control), competition-spec traction and stability controls, an electronic limited-slip differential, specially-tuned electric power steering, huge Brembo brakes, and added air cooling for their engine, transmission, and rear axle lubricants. They roll on 18-inch Michelin Pilot Super Sport tri-compound summer tires on 9-inch-wide front alloy wheels and 9.5-inch-wide rears. And they will rocket from rest to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds while delivering 16 city EPA miles per gallon and 24 highway with the automatic and 17/23 with the manual transmission. The obvious purpose of all this technology is to effectively endow Cadillac's latest V-Series models with a rarely achieved true dual personality: go, stop, and corner like race cars on a track, then sooth, coddle, and entertain like luxury cars on the way to and from the track, or work. We had ample opportunity to verify both personalities with multiple hot laps of the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) Grand Prix course, followed by a more leisurely drive on public roads near Austin, TX. Even lacking wheel-to-wheel comparisons, we believe these hot new ATS-Vs are fully competitive with their pricier German competitors, and probably superior in some ways. So now, Cadillac will offer not one but two very sharp-looking, upscale, small-volume, 2016 compact coupes, almost the same size and at similar prices, but with totally different missions: this new high-performance ATS-V and the soon-to-be-upgraded ELR extended-range EV. The key question: why? Aside from its cramped back seat and ridiculous $76,000 starting price, I loved the ELR when it was introduced for 2014.
GM admits Cadillac ELR no real competition for Tesla Model S
Fri, Aug 15 2014Last year, then-CEO of General Motors, Dan Akerson, made it clear that the company lookouts at the Ren Cen had California automaker Tesla in their sights. "If you want to compete head-to-head with Tesla, and we ultimately will, you want to do it with a Cadillac," he said. So, given the fact that the Cadillac ELR has a plug and sells for roughly the same price at the Tesla Model S ($75,000 vs $69,900, before incentives) and that Cadillac doesn't have any other electric vehicle on the horizon, you'd be forgiven if you thought that the way that Akerson wanted to challenge Tesla's EV success was with the ELR. Well, you'd apparently be wrong. "The ELR is a different car, it's a different price point. It's way-different technology." - GM's Mark Reuss Speaking yesterday in Detroit, GM's head of global product development, Mark Reuss, admitted that the ELR is not the Tesla competitor that Akerson promised. "People like to say the ELR is [competition for the Model S], but it's really not. It's a different car, it's a different price point. It's way-different technology." So, if we follow that logic to conclusion with Akerson's quote from last year, then the only way that Cadillac can eventually compete with Tesla is with a pure electric car, and that seems an outside chance, at best, for the foreseeable future. Through the end of July, Cadillac has sold 578 ELRs since it went on sale earlier this year. Tesla doesn't break out monthly US sales, but has sold 15,114 Model S EVs around the world in the first six months of 2014. For his part, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has already said that GM is headed down the wrong path with plug-in hybrids like the ELR or the Chevy Volt. Speaking about the Volt last year, Musk said, Chevy "sort of created something that's a bit of amphibian," which resulted in a car that's, "Okay but not great."
