You are looking at a 2006 Bentley Flying Spur in Black on Black with dark veneered wood trim. This is one of the
BEST looking Flying Spur's that you will see. With minimal, subtle and tasteful modifications, this is one of
those cars that you can't help but keep looking back at as you walk away. It really is a stunning machine. This
is an adult owned California car that has been very well maintained and drives perfectly. It has been in the
same family for over 3 years and the owner is selling it to make room for his brand new Flying Spur replacement
that has come in. This car comes with an original laminated window sticker showing an MSRP of over $175,000!
Also has all the books and some records with it.
Mechanicals
This car does not have any mechanical issues. It has always been thoroughly maintained and whenever problems have
come up, they have been addressed. It runs very smoothly and has had regular oil and fluid changes. The turbo
oil lines were replaced and a new battery was also put in among many other maintenance items.
Exterior
All exterior window trim, badges, and grilles have been professionally painted in the original black paint to match
the rest of the car. The quarter windows (all 4) were replaced at a cost of over $3,000 (which is a common
problem on these cars as the wrong glue was used by the factory and leads to a foggy outline around the windows).
Front and rear bumpers were also repainted. The car has been professionally tinted all around. As with any
car of this age, there are some minor scratches all around, but nothing major that is obviously striking. It
rides on a set of 22" Ace Alloy wheels with new tires, which in my opinion are probably the nicest looking wheels
for this car. The car is professionally washed once a week, detailed every 6 months and always garage kept.
Interior
The car has black leather interior that is very clean. Even the headliner and pillars are all leather. The rear
window has the factory sunshade and is in excellent shape. The wood overall is in good shape, however, again as
with any car of this age, there are some surface cracks in the clear coat of the wood trim on the front doors and
trim. I've been told that this a very common problem for Bentley's of this year. It has never bothered the
owner so he has never felt the need to change it.

2020 Bentley Flying Spur spied winter testing in Europe
Wed, Feb 27 2019The current Bentley Continental GT made its debut about a year and a half ago at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The big British coupe was joined about a year later by a drop-top variant, but there's been little word on the four-door model, the Bentley Flying Spur. We saw some spy shots last May of the car testing at the Nurburgring, and today we have a new batch of the Flying Spur doing winter testing in Europe. We don't know when the car might debut, but don't rule out a surprise reveal at next week's Geneva Motor Show. The cars in these photos are nearly uncovered. That said, if you're not paying attention, you may not notice much difference. Bentley has taken the Porsche approach to design, evolving the same basic formula rather than issuing a ground-up redesign. The lighting has all been updated, with larger lenses both front and rear. The smaller secondary headlights have moved further out on the front fenders. The upper and lower grilles, too, are larger, taking up a majority of the front end. The profile is generally unchanged, though some of the lines appear to be a little sharper, giving the Flying Spur a more muscular appearance. Expect the 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 to soldier on. In the Continental, the engine makes 626 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. The Flying Spur should get a similar output. As on the coupe, expect a V8 and plug-in hybrid variant to follow in the next few years. Related Video:
Bentley Bentayga by Mulliner is a one-off special edition with ties to horse racing
Thu, Mar 1 2018Not long ago, we featured the Bentley Bentayga Field Sports by Mulliner, Bentley's even more lavish companion that often adds a special touch to production Bentleys; earlier on, there was even a version aimed at falconers. Here's another one-off Bentayga special edition that looks just as ostentatious, simply called the Bentayga by Mulliner. Bentley says this Mulliner version has been inspired by horse racing, and it's been created to commemorate Bentley's partnership with racetrack operator The Jockey Club at the Cheltenham Festival. It has to be said, the Bentayga looks far better by itself than towing a horse box on the highway. The paintwork is a variation on British Racing Green, on this occasion called Spruce, and the cabin has been finished with a combination of saddle-colored leather on the seats and special tweed on the doors. The veneer is burr walnut, treated to resemble woodwork at The Jockey Club's private rooms, and branded Mulliner. As well as Cheltenham Racecourse, The Jockey Club operates 14 other horse racing venues in the UK, and it was founded all the way back in 1750. The 21" wheels on the Bentayga by Mulliner are the same, partially black ones that were fitted on the Field Sports. Bentley designer calls Lincoln Continental concept a Flying Spur 'copy' [w/poll]
Tue, Mar 31 2015When you first laid eyes on the new Lincoln Continental concept, we'd wager you were likely impressed, because it's an impressive design. But if you also thought it looked familiar, you're in good company. According to Car Design News, design chief Luc Donckerwolke over at Bentley thinks the Lincoln concept bears more than a passing resemblance to another Continental: Bentley's own Flying Spur. "This behavior is not respectable. Building a copy like this is giving a bad name to the car design world," Donckerwolke told CDN, after posting some disparaging comments on Facebook and offering in jest to send over the tooling. "It is very disappointing, especially for an exclusive brand like Lincoln," added Sangyup Lee, his deputy for exterior design. The irony is further entrenched by the name, which Bentley only dropped from its Flying Spur in its latest iteration but still uses for the coupe and convertible models. Both automakers have a deeply routed history with the nameplate, but Lincoln's stretches back further, having first used the handle in 1939 before Bentley did in 1952. However it's not the nameplate that's the subject of controversy here, rather the design of the vehicle to which it's applied. So what do you think, did Lincoln borrow too heavily from its British counterpart? Related Video:
