2012 Audi S4 P+ 6mt Supercharged V6-giac Stage 2, Deval, Awe, Roc Euro And More! on 2040-cars
Reading, Pennsylvania, United States
I bought my 2012 Audi S4 almost exactly 1 year ago to the date. It had just 9945 miles on it when I picked her up. I will start off by saying that this is probably one of the cleanest TURNKEY Audi S4's you will find. What I mean by TURNKEY is that you really don't need to do anything else to this car but enjoy it. There hasn't been a single car that I have ever owned that puts a grin on my face every single time I sit in it then this S4. It is with great sadness that I list this vehicle for sale as I have made the very difficult decision to move to an Audi S6. And believe me when I say that the decision has been so difficult as I felt I haven't truly enjoyed my S4 enough. I have only put a little over 5000 miles in the past year. She has never seen snow let alone rain and has pretty much become a garage queen. Ok let's get to the good stuff... I have listed all the modifications in order as they were performed on the car to kind of give you an idea of how many miles are on each mod. Remember, I have put less than 5400 miles on since I got it last April of 2013. Roc Euro Intake (Installed within a week of first ownership) LED License Plate Lights 35% Tint HR OE Sport Lowering Springs 20" Titanium Rep wheels wrapped in 255/30/20 Hankook V12 Tires Gloss Black RS4 Grill GIAC Stage 2 Tune w/Pulley Full AWE Exhaust with Resonated Downpipes and Black Diamond Tips Flat Bottom Steering Wheel E-Codes Carbon Fiber MMI Surround Deval Front Carbon Fiber Splitter Deval Rear Carbon Fiber Diffuser Alu Kruez(The last mod I put on the car, literally less than 100 miles on it) I can't stress enough how clean this car is. I am so meticulous when it comes to my cars and in the short time I have had it, it has been professionally detailed twice. The first time after I first picked it up and the last time was right before the Winter before she was stored away. The car currently sits on Avant Garde M510's that I picked up over the winter and I just put them on. I will also include them in the sale. So you will receive 2 sets of wheels and tires. This car has a clean carfax and has never been back to the dealer for any recalls or anything so I will guarantee this Audi to be TD1 free. If you are not sure what that means, just Google it and you will find out. The vehicle carries the remainder of the factory warranty which is 4 years or 50K miles, whichever comes first. Other than that there is no other warranties expressed or implied. I reserve the right to end this auction early. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I happen to work at a car dealership so if you need financing, I can even arrange that for you. Please copy and paste this address below (must add w w w as ebay won't allow links to be in description) to see more details and pictures of this build. I frequent the forums a lot and if you search, you can find out everything you need to know about my car. Please also note that I am currently driving the car while the weather has been nice so there will be a few more miles on it. Thanks a lot for looking. audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/539783-My-own-photoshoot-opinions-and-critiques-are-welcome!! |

2017 Audi R8 First Drive
Tue, Jul 14 2015You might think the new Audi R8 is a Lamborghini in a business suit. You'd be wrong; the Huracan is an R8 in a Heinlein shock trooper suit. This is the most raucous, rowdy Audi yet, and it's most certainly a supercar – even when parked next to its bawdier Italian cousin. Although the Huracan has been on the street for nearly a year now, the new R8 and the Lambo were developed in parallel. Audi handled most of the engineering workload, with the Huracan receiving Lamborghini's styling and tuning finesse on top of its Audi-built V10 engine and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The R8 gets Audi's motorsports-inspired best. Tally it all up and you have two very different cars built from very similar components. Of course, that could also be said of the R8 and its racing doppelganger, the R8 LMS, the racecar built for WEC endurance racing. That car, in fact, is more closely related to the R8 than is the road-going Huracan – the wheelbases are the same, 50 percent of the parts are shared, and the bodies-in-white are built on the same line. The racecars are pulled off line for occasional tweaks or additions, then slotted back in to run through most of the same workflow as the R8s that will eventually end up on the streets. Like a new pair of your favorite shoes, the new R8 is familiar and foreign at the same time. This development program pulls from the best of a legendary supercar brand's flair for presence and idiosyncrasy. It also takes lessons from the company's customer racing effort, as well as Audi's own impeccable taste in road manners and clean, elegant design. The end result is an inspired supercar with daily-driver comfort and a surprisingly aggressive side. Like a new pair of your favorite shoes, the new R8 is familiar and foreign at the same time. It's more comfortable and compliant on the street, thanks to a new chassis that's 40 percent stiffer, allowing for a more forgiving suspension tune. The completely reworked 5.2-liter V10 engine has a Great White bite to go with its Rottweiler bark, but only after you provoke it from polite mode with a press of either the Drive Select button or the exhaust sound switch. The seats are comfortable – that can be said for both the standard sport seats or optional carbon-shell, race-style buckets. Wrapped in a cabin that's much more futuristic and forward-looking than the last R8, the overall driving experience is refined, luxurious, and high-tech.
Audi 4.2-liter V8 to live again in next-gen R8
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Fellow auto enthusiasts, it looks like the car gods have smiled upon us. Word is that Audi's stupendous 4.2-liter V8 will once again be available in the next-generation R8. Rumors pegged the trusty 4.2 as a dead engine revving, thanks to Audi's newer 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 found in models like the S6 and S7.
We expected the 4.0-liter to be the go-to engine in the next R8, but according to Car and Driver, there have been some issues cooling the force-induced mill in the mid-engine R8. The issues are so severe, in fact, that the 4.2 is going to be retained in the car's second generation.
It's more than just practical matters like cooling that are keeping the R8 from going turbocharged. C/D reports that even with the current state of forced induction, a turbocharged R8's throttle response and its resultant exhaust note would suffer too much to be feasible.
Audi A4 preps to go Allroad
Wed, Jul 22 2015Audi recently unveiled the lighter, larger, and sleeker 2017 A4, but the sedan is just the beginning. We know that A4 Avant and Allroad wagon versions are on the way too. Only the Allroad, however, is destined for these shores. These spy shots provide an early idea of what to expect for American buyers who prefer a longer roof and more room to haul in the back. A few key details distinguish this Allroad from the standard Avant, including the elevated ride height. Also, look carefully at the front three-quarters shot, and you can also pick out the more pronounced fender flares. Audi's designers made slight adjustments to the air dam, especially below the headlights, and there are some smaller tweaks to the rear bumper, as well. The Allroad's debut is expected to be staggered from the sedan and Avant versions, and the company obviously isn't talking about power yet. The only powertrains divulged for the 2017 A4 in the US are either a revised 2.0-liter TFSI or a 2.0-liter TDI diesel. Regardless of engine, all-wheel drive would certainly be standard to fit the more rugged version's styling. Related Video:
