1997 Acura Integra LS with J32A2 Type-S Swap Up for sale is a one of a kind Acura Integra. This
clean 1997 Integra is equipped with a V6, 3.2 Liter TL Type-S motor! 260hp and
232lb-ft of torque are unmatched in the world of 4-cyclinder vehicles. This
Integra sounds mean, and has the power to back it up! As you can see the hood
has been custom fabricated, allowing for this rare swap to sit exposed to the near-by
on-looker. The J-swap is an uncommon swap to see, let alone own. This is your
chance to save the hassle of building one, and own it today! This car is truly exciting
to drive, and guaranteed to turns heads where ever you go! History: I purchased this car several years ago from a friend
who was leaving for the Army. He originally completed the J32A2 swap, with
intensions for track use only. Over the past 3 years I have put this car back together
for weekend enjoyment, not just track use. There are still several loose ends
that need completed, as I have not fully completed this build. Here is your
chance to complete several loose ends and take pride in completing the build,
and not just purchasing it. This Integra starts and runs as if the it were brand
new! The motor has low miles and is very reliable, starts every time, doesn't burn oil, no smoke or idle
issues, and pulls harder than any Honda Ive driven. The full car harness was originally converted to a
2002 Acura TL automatic. The motor was later upgraded to a 2002 TL Type-S
motor. The issue is this vehicle has an automatic ECU on a 2003 V6 Accord
6-speed transmission. The ECU thinks the vehicle is in neutral and will not
engage the VTEC or reserve lock-out. I cannot change the ECU without having it
chipped to bypass the factory ignition immobilizer. These issues can be
correctly easily with the AEM ECU, or CL Type-S ECU and manual motor harness. If VTEC is not a big deal, than this car is ready to go! Haha. I do not have time or desire to complete this vehicle,
and would like to pass it to someone with the excitement for unique Hondas. I
am currently in school full time, and work full time on top of building two
other cars; my loss is your gain. This car is truly in great condition, and about
95% complete. You will also be hard pressed to find a green Integra that doesn't have tan interior as well. If youre into unique builds, than this is the
car for you! Below is a list of info and aftermarket parts: -

2019 Acura RDX undercuts rivals with base price of $38,295
Tue, May 29 2018The all-new 2019 Acura RDX will hit dealers on June 1, 2018, and it'll come with a window sticker bearing a base price of $38,295. That's for a front-wheel-drive RDX; adding all-wheel drive brings the base price to $40,295. Standard equipment includes the AcuraWatch safety and driver assistance package, which bundles automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and road departure mitigation. All RDX models, regardless of trim, are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that sends 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque through a 10-speed automatic transmission to the drive wheels. That's more power than rivals like Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC300, and Volvo XC60, all of which are cited by Acura as key competitors in the small premium crossover segment. The EPA has given the 2019 RDX estimated fuel mileage ratings of 22 city, 28 highway, and 24 combined, or 21/27/23 with all-wheel drive. That's better than the AWD 2018 RDX's 19/27/22 rating, but under the class-leading 22/29/25 figures of the BMW X3, though the Bimmer has less horsepower and torque than the RDX. Perhaps even more important than the low-for-its-class starting price is the reasonable increase in cost as the trim level rises. Opting for an RDX with the Tech Package will cost $41,495 and bring with it navigation with real-time traffic, perforated leather seating surfaces, an ELS Studio audio system with 12 speakers, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic monitor, and front and rear parking sensors. The new RDX A-Spec package branches off the Tech trim level and adds sportier styling with blacked-out accents replacing chrome, 20-inch wheels, 4-inch exhaust tips, an ELX Studio audio system with 16 speakers, heated and ventilated seats, LED fog lights, and sport seats trimmed in leather and Ultrasuede. A red interior package is optional. At the top of the RDX pyramid sits the Advance trim for $46,395. That model gets cool stuff like a high-tech adaptive damper system, 16-way power driver and passenger seats (heated and cooled up front and heated in the rear), a head-up display, surround view camera, genuine wood trim, and a hands-free power tailgate. It's worth noting that since the A-Spec is based on the Tech and not the Advance trim it's not possible to get the adaptive dampers or fancy front seats packaged with the sportiest-looking RDX model. Here's hoping those bits are added as A-Spec package options at a later date.
Acura ILX Type S could get 300-hp turbo four
Wed, Feb 11 2015There's good news and bad news when it comes to the new Honda Civic Type R. The good news is that after more than a year of prototypes and concepts, the Japanese automaker's new hot hatch is about to make its production debut next month. The bad news is that it's not coming here, but there is a silver lining in even that dark rain cloud namely, that Honda plans on slotting its 2.0-liter VTEC turbo four into something that it will actually offer Stateside. Earlier rumors suggested the US donor vehicle would also be a Civic, but the latest intel indicates it could be something different, albeit related. According to Car and Driver, which spoke recently with Acura product planning manager Gary Robinson, Honda's luxury division could be gearing up to shoehorn the engine into the recently updated ILX Β which itself is based on the Civic. "Acura is always going to get the best engines Honda makes," said Robinson. "Obviously a 2.0-liter turbo is more of a must-have in the luxury world than it is in the mainstream" market, suggesting that an ILX Type S could be in the works with upwards of 300 horsepower. Getting it to fit, though, could prove a rather large challenge Β and could mean the engine swap would have to wait until the next-generation model comes around. Considering that the ILX was just updated for 2016, C/D doesn't expect the full redesign to come until 2018 at the earliest. Here's hoping that if it takes that long, Honda will slot the engine into something else for US showrooms in the meantime. The revival of the Type S badge in and of itself, however, makes for an enticing prospect. The last time we saw it used was on the larger TL sedan, which upgraded the 3.2-liter V6 from the 225 horsepower to 260. Before that, the RSX jumped from 160 horsepower in the base model to 200 in the first Type S, 210 in the second and 217 in the ultimate Type R. As it stands, the new ILX (after dropping the hybrid and base 2.0 models, is powered exclusively by a 2.4-liter inline four with 201 hp on tap.
Acura releases yet another NSX track teaser vid
Sat, 03 Aug 2013On Sunday, August 4th (yep, that's tomorrow), a prototype version of the all-new Acura NSX will make its public track debut ahead of the Honda 200 IndyCar race. Acura has already given us a short video snippet to enjoy, but now it's added one more to get our hearts racing just a little more.
Before you watch it, make sure your speakers or headphones are turned up, because what the low-resolution video lacks in visual quality, it more than makes up for with its audio of the NSX's exhaust screaming as the car tackles Mid-Ohio. And at the end of the video, the caption reads "watch the NSX racing prototype take a lap."
Acura isn't joking either. From what we hear, the car is expected to take one lap before the race and then disappear for the weekend. Scroll down to see and hear the NSX in action.
